Too much info about everyone & everything else & nowhere near enough about Jamie

I am not typically a huge fan of biography’s but this one was one I was looking forward to reading. I was curious as to who this relatively unknown person was that has taken the world by storm due to his casting in the much anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey film. I had seen pictures of Jamie Dornan on the internet in some of his modeling shots and he is a stunner! Getting a glimpse into his career that brought him into the big lights is what this book is about.
The author goes through Jamie’s life and career in depth so you get a clear picture of some of his past work. There are several shows I need to make a note to look up and watch. One being The Fall which he stars with Gillian Anderson on BBC2. It has won many awards and sounds intriguing!
You also learn a bit about his wife, some past relationships and some in depth info on other people he has starred with. And, of course, that all leads us up to his latest hot movie that was just released that you may have heard of, Fifty Shades of Grey.
The book is a pretty fast read with a cool timeline in the back that will give you a quick overview of who Jamie Dornan is and what he has been doing. For his fans, this is a perfect accompaniment to learn more about the seemingly unknown guy that has been cast is a majorly hot role of a lifetime. We will be seeing quite a bit of him in the future. Now you can backtrack a bit and get to know more about the man.

Liked it but every time someone else is mention the author went off and told their story. I just wanted to read about Jamie!

It wasn't a bad book,but the problem I had with it was the fact that it mentioned more about other people and things and not so much Jamie Dornan. Naming this book "Shades of Jamie Dornan" was putting it mildly.Though this book was aptly named.They give you a few facts and pics and start talking about someone else. They should call it "Jamie Dornan and Others".

It's all things Jamie! You can't complain about that!
This is an entertaining and quick read telling the life story of Jamie Dornan. It has everything from his childhood, personal life, his wife, Exes, previous shows and accolades leading all the way to his big breakout roles in Fifty Shades of Grey and The Fall.
I don't want to forget to mention all of the pictures in this book! Woo! They make the whole book worth it! At the end of the book there's a timeline helping you follow the stars journey. It is pretty cool and helps you follow his story.
This is a very easy read and a lot of fun to get some insight into this actor who took our world by storm.
As far as biographies go it's not bad. It isn't remarkably in-depth but then again you Jamie hasn’t been on the scene very long.
I give this book 4 stars
