Kitten is a whirlwind, insta-love holiday story giving a peek into Charity Parkerson’s Steel Security. This series deals with some of the toughest bodyguards in the country falling hard for men they never see coming.

Saint is stunned when Clover walks into his office dressed like a kitten, but within minutes he knows two things: Clover is perfect for the job, and even more perfect for him. Their connection is instant, sweet, and a little chaotic — exactly the kind of whirlwind holiday romance Clover never expected.

I enjoyed this novella which is a sweet, fast‑paced holiday romance with just the right touch of danger. Clover’s life is already in shambles when he loses his job, but the real threat comes from his toxic ex — a presence that lingers like a storm cloud and adds a sharp edge to the story. Enter Saint, the gruff, steady security expert who takes one look at Clover and feels something immediate and undeniable. Their connection sparks instantly, the kind of pull that feels both fated and irresistible. Even with danger circling, the chemistry between them is warm, protective, and wonderfully intense. A whirlwind insta‑love story where a dangerous past meets a fiercely devoted new beginning — and love wins the moment these two lock eyes.

This is a modern mm romance novella, a prequel in the “Steel Security “ series that should be read in order. This is an insta-love trope, and it is a fun short Christmas read! I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
