I don’t know how C.J. does it, but this series somehow gets better with every book! Interweaving Secrets is the 4th installment in the Webs of Fate series, and trust me—these books absolutely need to be read in order.

This one picks up right where the last left off, with Talia stepping into her new role as the Dark King. I don’t want to spoil anything (because so much happens 😭), but wow… C.J. Wallingsford continues to prove she is a master storyteller.

The world she has built is unlike anything I’ve ever read—so intricate, so original, and completely captivating. Each book leaves me in awe of her imagination and writing. If you’re a fan of romantasy and crave rich, immersive storytelling, this series deserves a top spot on your TBR!

This book starts off right where we left off in the aftermath of the contest for the role of Dark King. Cal goes back to being an idiot (I say this 100% in a loving way) which leads us to Sterling fully entering the chat. His dynamic with Talia was snarky and delicious. He was a treasure and I love him (just not around spiders, IYKYK.) Then we have Nessa and her heartbreak which led to my heartbreak. As to the overall plot, it just went deeper and the stakes got even higher and more tense. Talia trying to be the Dark King was great. The twists are always wild in this series and this book was no exception. I can never guess where they are going. I am obsessed with this series. Each book gets better and better. I cannot wait for the next book!!!

This was so well written. It jumps right in where the last book ended. The story is just getting more detailed as it goes and it is such a smooth transition for each POV.

The tension is really building for our heroes. This whole book is a major tease. I'm left with more questions than answers. It's a little talky and repetitive, but I get the feeling like it's setting up for the last two books to be insane.

I’ve absolutely loved this series and book four did not disappoint.
I did not expect that ending, even after the hints throughout the book from sterling 😳 I can’t wait to see what rollercoaster we are taken on with book five!

This one was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions and events, Callahan does something idiotic but ends up reconciling with Tallie after several people point out that he was an idiot, Vanessa is acting like a child blaming everyone for what she did instead of taking responsibility for her own actions though you do see a bit of inner struggle (which I hope she gets some sense knocked into her eventually). The end is pretty spicy with the threesome that happens🤭

This series is fantastic, and I can't wait for more!

This book picks up right after the ending of the events of the third book. Mass is in the afters, Ness hates Talie, and Cal believes Talie doesn't love him, so he decides to deal with the Magi and give her some space. However, she does love him with her whole heart, and she is now the Dark King, and Cal is gone. He was going to come back, and be there for her coronation, but the ancients had another plan, and kept him locked up for a while.

So many major events happened in this book. I felt the heartbreak and loss for all of the characters. This world is brutal, and we don't get a chance to forget. I really enjoyed seeing how the story is starting to slowly come full circle as we get towards the end of the series. We get to see some new relationships form - which I am here for - and see others start to crumble which is honestly heart breaking. I was kept on my toes while reading this, and I was always wanting to turn the page and find out what happened next. If I didn't have to be an adult with life getting in the way, I would have finished this in 24 hours.
