A good overview of Van Gogh’s life and works, includes quotes from his contemporaries regarding their view of his works (around 1890-95) which provides a unique view. Includes comprehensive full page painting and drawings. Three stars due to some outdated information and need for new research. A good option for painting references, however I’m sure there are better biographies.
