When chrome, chaos, and Christmas collide, this steamy military biker romance explodes with heat, heart, and a love that refuses to play nice. 🏍️A combat injury ended Landon Welch’s military career six years too soon. Now the wounded Army medic is home for the holidays—haunted by the past and preparing for his next mission. He’s not looking for roots—or redemption—until a veteran motorcycle club challenges his identity and a sharp-tongued preschool director unravels him, thread by thread, until all that’s left is need.
💔Mercedes Foster doesn’t do second chances or Christmas miracles. After losing her mom to violence and raising her little brother alone, her only focus is keeping the kids at her preschool safe and happy. Her life revolves around protecting at-risk kids and she’s focused on making sure her students have the best Christmas ever. But when her brother is attacked and afraid to go to the police, Mercy is forced to turn to the man she’s sworn to keep at arm’s length—the sinfully sexy medic who’s as dangerous to her heart as he is dependable.
🔥As the days shorten and tempers flare, their attraction ignites into something neither of them can deny. But when danger crashes the holiday, Landon will have to decide whether to keep running from his past—or to stand and fight for the woman who just might be his home for the holidays. 🎄
Another fantastic story set in the Dead Presidents world, that will keep you glued to the pages as you read and delight you with cameos from our favourite bikers🙌
Mercy is the director of Bold Beginnings and she has a few issues…one is the sexy man whose mother happens to be one of her employees, the other is her brother and an ex that won’t take no for an answer🙈 But there is one positive, the Dead Presidents have approached her to sponsor a holiday party for the kids🥳
Loved Mercy and Landon and seeing all my favourite bikers and their ladies and I can’t wait to see what’s next❣️ I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️🩹
Doc can deck my halls any day. I want him to fix the heart palitations that he creates. Oh My. Harley Stone you have created the best Christmas present. Landon Welch, aka Doc, is the perfect Superman that even Mercy couldn't refuse. But, oh man, did she try. Enough drooling over Landon. You can unwrap him page after page.
I found Doc the Halls to be fun holiday read. The Dead Presidents MC wants to put on a Christmas party for the preschoolers at Bold Beginnings. Watching Mercy's reactions to their suggestion was a total hoot. She didn't know about all the awesomeness of The Dead President's MC. The members want to open their hearts and wallets to the underprivileged. They have big plans and you get to watch it all come together and join in the wonders of the holiday.
Mercy walks to school with Beth everyday. It is their thing until Beth's son, Landon, decides it isn't safe. They click from the beginning. I could see it. Landon could see it. Mercy has a middle name of denial. Watching them dancing over all things was off the charts hot. I am surprised the sex didn't melt the kindle. Yes, it was that hot. The relationship is so much more.
There is a reason she calls him Superman. He has a white knight complex that is not wanted or appreciated. Her brother is in trouble. She can't deal with. Landon thinks he knows what's best creating for mind blowing drama. The story is just getting warmed up. There was so much I didn't see coming. I found myself panicking, not believing how things were going. I refused to stop reading. They needed their happily ever after. I needed a happily ever after. The journey was an adventure. The ending was the best Christmas present.
This wasn't one of my favorites. Way too much pushing away. She was terrible to him more than once, and he was not right for the club girl. He didn't sleep with her, but yeah, not a fan of that. And the biggest thing....they were not truly together until right at the end....seriously?? No cheating between mcs- it did look like he was going upstairs with a club girl, but nothing happened. No epilogue. They side I love yous right at the end.

I love the Dead Presidents MC and this story just slides right on home in this world. The vibes, the characters, the storyline, and the overall plot was perfection. This was such a fun read with a little bit of seriousness to it but not so much to take away the other aspects of it. The chemistry was very evident between the main characters. And I think Landon and Mercy were a perfect fit for one another. I also loved the banter between these two. It's an incredible read that I could not put down once I started reading. I highly recommend cause it's that good. I know I'm going to definitely re-read it because that's how much I liked it.
Thanks so much to the author for an advance copy. These are my own opinions and they are freely expressed.
Loved Landon and Mercy. These two were perfect for each other, even when both were fighting their connection. I also loved how both had preconceived notions of the Dead Presidents. Of course, the Dead Presidents changed their minds doing, simply, what they always do. And one of the best? Preschool Christmas party.
I adore this series, and Harley doesn't disappoint with Doc and his Mercy.
As an ex combat medic he comes home before flying out to Africa, but he's not expecting Mercy and her family troubles, or the Dead Presidents.
it's great to see some of the originals, inc Wasp, alongside the newer members, all pulling together to make this Christmas novella another special story in the DPMC series.
I love the Dead Presidents MC ☠️ I loved being back in the world of the Dead Presidents MC. I loved the banter between Landon and Mercy. Both have their own issues they’re battling & Both are skeptical about the Dead Presidents MC. I don't want give anything away but there are a lot of twists in this story I love this clubs mission, and I really want to see Havoc as Santa. I highly recommend all of DPMC series and look forward to the next from Harley!
I just love the Dead Presidents!!! Such a diverse group of characters yet all with a commonality! I enjoyed visiting with some of my faves for Doc's story!
💜🌼Doc The Halls💜🌼 If I'm counting correctly, Doc The Halls is the 13th book in Harley Stone's Dead Presidents MC series world ...and as much as I love every book in this series..all I have to hear is Harley Stone and Dead Presidents MC..and I'm all in..She writes some of the best stuff I've read...Original stories about strong characters with chemistry that will burn up my iPad...and Doc the Halls is the latest proof of that...💜🌼 Landon (Doc) and Mercy have issues...They are both stubborn, broken and want nothing to do with love..but their attraction is strong and they both believe a situationship with benefits is all they want and can ever have...What could go wrong? But their chemistry is more potent than the fear and pride they wear like a good pair of biker boots ...and it doesn't take long for them to be the only two who can't see they're already in too deep to just "hit it and quit it"..💜🌼 Landon has just been medically discharged from the Army..He's planning on leaving for Africa in less than a month..and he'd rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick than go home to Seattle and face his demons from the past...in other words...he's exactly what the Dead Presidents MC want...He believes no matter how attracted he is to Mercy..or how much he wants her...becoming attached is not happening... period...and being a part of the Dead Presidents MC isn't even an option...💜🌼 Mercy is a gorgeous, smart preschool administrator with more trust issues than an estate planning attorney...For years, she has let misplaced family trauma and guilt and her past relationships have made her detached and closed off to love....and no matter how obsessed she is with Landon's "sass"...She does everything humanly possible to keep him at arm's length..She's downright mean at times to him...💜🌼 I don't wanna give too much away...but there are more twists and turns in this story than a Rubik's cube..and the book is fantastic...I highly recommend this book...and even though they're all standalones...I recommend you read this whole series...I’d give it 10 stars if possible...💜🌼
I had a hard time staying interested in this story. Landon was ok, but he did get on my nerves a bit. Mercy was a straight-up b#t$h. But then you get her back story, and it makes sense a little bit. She wasn't nice to Landon, and he let her treat him like that instead of growing a pair and opening his mouth. I wish there would have been more about Havoc playing Santa. That was kinda built up about how excited he was to get to do that, and then, nothing really is said. That was a bit disappointing. I also wish we knew what was happening with Luke and his crew. I did like the interaction with the club brothers. It was nice that they didn't act like stupid frat boys but grown ass men. I was curious about why Landon wasn't in the military anymore. That was never explained. There was a brief mention of something, but nothing really definitive. So what happened? All in all, this was just ok for me.
I love Landon & Mercy even though their relationship struggles. Or, rather, they struggle with their relationship. He's thinking he can't stay, she's thinking that's perfect bc she doesn't have time for long term.
Feelings, however, don't care about your silly plans, ppl! 😄
Landon is protective & Mercy has a hard time accepting she might need a little protection. I really enjoyed their banter, tho. And the way they gravitate to each other and the club. The Dead Presidents are very eager to bring them both into the fold for various reasons. I love this club & their mission, so getting to catch up with some of the guys was a bonus for my reading pleasure.
We get suspense, steam, healing, and a fabulous Christmas party. I'm a happy girl!
This one was interesting on a couple of levels. First how everyone had such preconceived notions of a MC and the Dead Presidents turned that upside down for so many in this one. I really loved the preschool party and how the adults seemed to have just as much fun as the kids. Then there was the chemistry between Landon and Julia and how that went, so not easy for them. Each of them had some issues, both had strong personalities and they often butted heads. But by the end they seemed to work out so much, it was nice to see them finally on the same page and looking forward to giving things a try.
The Dead Presidents MC is one of my favorite series! Landon (Doc) and Mercy’s Christmas story was a great read. Both have their own issues they’re battling and fighting the mutual attraction for the other. Both are skeptical about the Dead Presidents MC not being a gang and doing great things for their community. Both learned an important lesson about stereotypes where this MC is concerned. Awesome characters and so loved the interactions with some of the other Dead Presidents MC characters.
I highly recommend this book and look forward to more from Harley!
This is the first book that I've read in this Dead Presidents MC series and, after this story, I will be going back to the beginning and reading them all. The book was very well written with wonderful characters. Mercy tries so hard to resist Landon (Doc) but she just can't stay away and Doc is determined to have her even as he tells himself he won't be staying. Loved the banter between the two and all of the side characters as well.
This is the first Harley Stone book I've read. It won't be the last.
Yes, it's a holiday book but it adds a twist of cuteness (those kids!), danger (Ben!!!), the craziness that comes when you fall in love but don't want to fall in love, and characters I won't soon forget.
Do love this series and the guys in it. A bunch of old softies who just keep giving of themselves. Landon and mercy were two complete opposites yet both carried luggage that they just couldn’t seem to part with. Loved that the mc kept both in their circle, an old lady supporting one and the guys messing nicely with Landon. Good Christmas story with all the right feels.
Landon, a military medic returns home after a medical discharge, he doesn’t intend staying long. Mercy works in a preschool and the Dead Presidents offer to give the children a Christmas party they won’t forget.
I loved this great Christmas Dead Presidents MC tale, with plenty of twists, action, danger and chemistry between Landon and Mercy.
I loved being back in the world of the Dead Presidents MC. and this story just slides right on home in this world. The chemistry between Landon and Mercy was perfect. I also loved the banter. I can't wait for more.
Well this was nothing short of a holiday delight! From the opening chapters to the end of the story it was another fabulous delivery from Author Harley Stone. Another installment of the ‘Dead Presidents’ MC and Doc was a great addition to the club.
This is the first book by Harley Stone that I had read and I am certain it won't be the last. I loved Doc and Mercy and getting introduced to the Dead Presidents MC. I can't wait to check out more books by Harley.
Landon is back in Seattle for a very short time after leaving the service and he made a very bad first impression on his mother's sexy boss, Mercy, but he still wants a chance. Mercy doesn't trust men and she has a mountain of issue but still finds herself drawn to Landon. When the finally come together it is explosive but neither of them know how to handle it but can't seem to stay away as trouble comes for Mercy, Landon learns he wants to stay and be there for her and with the help of the Dead Presidents MC he is but these two have a lot to resolve to get their HEA in this engaging holiday read.
This dual POV story of Mercy and Landon was just great! And there was a whole lot going on! Definitely a great book! And I would LOVE to read some more about these side characters!
