K’wality Channing was a week from his wedding with his soulmate and high school sweetheart. They were what you call opposites attract but from the moment he was introduced to Shantelle Cairo in class he wanted to get to know her. Throughout the years their relationship withstood the test of time so when he decided to wrap up his street dealing and go completely legit there was no doubt, he would give Shantelle his last name. First, he had to make it through the bachelor party and his best friends Arnaz and Tae may have had something different in mind.
Azuri “Supa Soaker” Bentley was a pole dancer at Club Illusion at night and in her last year of medical school by day. To her the club was just a means to an end, and she didn’t stay in there a moment longer than necessary. She did her job and went home. What happens when she is up against a deadline and the only way she knows how to get to the end goal maybe going against the promises she made herself when she first started dancing at the club? Did she come so close to end it all?
Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, some people do, and those people may or may not be inside this book. There is only one way to tell.
4 STARS! I'll never look at a sprite bottle the same.............
Author's writing review: Excellent.
Story review: Hey Siri, Play In Love With A Stripper by T-Pain. BABY, The plot was plotting. The twist were turning. The spice was (kinda) spicing. I hate when people make me side with a man, but chileeee.. we team K'Way over here. I'm not a novella girl, but this one was so well written. I feel like we were able to learn just enough about the characters so it didn't FEEL like a novella. Very Very well written book and story. Can't wait to read more by this author, specifically a full length novel. AISHA DID THAT!
The. D R A M A A A … baby Kwality did not bring anything short. Imagine its your bachelor party & you fall in love with the stripper at first sight 🤣🤣 ngl I was cussing his ssa OUTTTTT..listen I understand last night of freedom but leaving yo girl? Maaaaan 🤣
I very much enjoyed this book though. It was a wild ride 🤣 spicy & a quick read!
I ate this book up !!! This Novella left me wanting nothing … the story line was paced perfectly! Definitely was looking at K’Way sideways at the beginning like WTF 🧐! But was surprised to find out the truth about wifey !!! Lls
SUPER SOAKER got me looking a Sprite different now cause WTF 😳 How you do that ? What made you even try that lol ? 😂
Definitely want to read a full story by the author because this was written perfectly! 😮💨
I really enjoyed this short read. It’s not easy to write a short story and it takes you on an entire journey. At first I side eyeing the MMC but immediately got on board. Lol I loved how everything unfolded at the end. This had plot plus erotica. I highly highly recommend this one.
Drench Me Baby by Aisha Bushra may only be 140+ pages, but it delivers everything — drama, desire, and difficult choices. It follows K’wality “K’Way” Channing, a man just a week away from marrying his high school sweetheart, and Azuri, a woman trying to balance what’s right with what feels right. From the first page, their connection jumps off the page, and Bushra keeps you hooked with her smooth pacing and vivid storytelling. I also loved how she included songs for certain chapters — it set the mood perfectly and made every scene feel cinematic.
This story is the perfect mix of tension and temptation. Shantelle and Quamire brought chaos and conflict, while K’Way and Azuri gave us chemistry that couldn’t be ignored. The spice was there, but it never overpowered the story — it was passionate, emotional, and showed how two people can explore each other with curiosity and care even in the middle of messy circumstances. Bushra handled those moments with just the right balance of heat and heart.
For a quick read, it felt complete yet left me craving more. The ending hinted at bigger things, and I was thrilled to see Bushra mention that we’ll hear more about Hennecy and Arnaz next. If their story brings the same energy, emotion, and fire as this one, I’m absolutely ready.
listen… k’wality had me irritated for most of this book 😭. because how do you fall in love at your own bachelor party? before your wedding?? like sir, please be so serious. and then he kept tossing out that “let’s be friends” line knowing good and well friends don’t be doing what they were doing 😒. i was side-eyeing him the whole time until the truth about his fiancée finally came out.
and his fiancée… yeah, baby girl was a dipsy-head hoe 🤦🏾♀️. how you take everything k’wality gives you and pass it right to the next man who can’t even flip it?? now look at you… dusted. dummy behavior at olympic level.
the story moved quick — real messy. azuri juggling medical school and the club while trying to honor her boundaries? i felt that. honestly, her storyline held the book together more than the romance itself. overall, it was a fast, chaotic lil read with drama, a lil heat 🔥, and enough foolishness to keep my kindle entertained. not a new fave, but definitely worth the ride.
I spent a chunk of the book being pisssed at K’wality, he was moving REALLLL funny to me for a man who had a whole fiancé at home, okay I get it something about Azuri immediately pulled him in and I get it, Azuri is a bad bitch and I liked her instantly but leaving your rehearsal dinner to go suck another woman's toes is DIABOLICAL!
However as we continue we learn A LOT about his fiancee Shantelle and my flabber was GASTED because why would she play in that man's face like that!??
Everything went down exactly how I expected it to once everything was revealed!
Also will I ever look at a sprite bottle the same? Most likely not.
Everybody was messy but I was definitely eating it up , so I feel like everybody was wrong in the situation, a lot of Shan movements felt like it was for thrill , I did enjoy the relationship development between kwa & fmc I would’ve loved to see a longer book of them . Everybody logic was as* backwards the cheating , the time of the lies ! I wish we had a longer ending though . Overall definitely enjoyed this quick read .
This book was soooo good to me like literally hopped in Aisha dm immediately talking to her like she ain’t write it lol. When I say they freaked out I mean it causeeeee some of that stuff I had to cock my head to the side likeeeee ohhhhh im trying to see what that be like 😂 but no besides all the nastyyyy this book has an actual storyline that is really good and has you wanting more and it’s not predictable at all, although this story is complete I def have joined the bandwagon of WE WANT SOME MOREEEE!
Kway had no idea his bachelor party was going to end with him talking all night to a beautiful stranger. So now 5 nights before his wedding he’s reconsidering and with good reason. This story was just a good fun messy nasty time. I enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down.
K’wality had all the nerve to be marrying his person in a week and going completely unhinged for Shantelle. He was holding strong to that “let’s be friends” line for dear life. Lol
Okay so boom, Shan lil bop head ssa! Man, I couldn't even feel bad for shorty cuz why you playing in people faces like that? I loved this story. Azuri and Kway were everything and I loved Arnaz too. This was really good and crazy. I enjoyed this storyline so much.
Having the nickname of Super Soaker is interesting. The name does stem from what you think. The supporting characters in here were good & I was glad that ppl got what was coming to them.
This was the first book I’ve read by this author! And I’m ready to read the rest of her catalog. I would love to read more from this group of characters too! Outstanding
This was really good. A new to me author and I'm impressed. This book had me hooked from the beginning to the very end. Shocked at Shan...but that made Kway's actions a little more easier to swallow....I mean a continuation of their life would be nice 👀🙏🙏
THE MESSSSSSSSSSSSS. THE SPICE. THE BETRAYAL. THE SPRITE BOTTLE. Lmaooo all I could do is gasp & clutch my pearls the entire time I was reading this novella. 😂😂 loved the FMC. Conflicted about the MMC. But the storyline itself is definitely one to remember.
