Read well. wasnt boring in my opinion which withthis type of book can be hard. What I liked is she into the hows and why for each suggestion. Then went through lots of various ways to reduce cortisol. Including various aspects of life. Things people can change. Author also recognized adequate medical oversight is important before making any changes. Also that everybody is different.
I learned a few things I'm planning on putting into practice.
Worth the read if struggling with possible cortisol issues.

I love this book. O'Reilly has written a very good boom on balancing hormones, regulating Emotions and healing your gut by reducing inflammation and stress reduction by detoxing. Cortisol is that nasty hormone that is responsible for a lot of misery and she provides some excellent information on detoxing and balancing your hormones. It is another well written book that is easy to read and follow along and is a great reference to have on hand.

I’ve heard about cortisol and the impact on your health but didn’t know a lot about it. This book was really informative. There are practical recommendations on how to improve your life. I like that it’s easy to understand and look forward to seeing improvement in my sleep and reduced stress.

Reading this book, opened my eyes to a few new things. It answered some questions I had. As well as the myths I thought were real was either debunked or I now know are true. At almost 50, this book is becoming a great read to me, as my body wants to fight me at every turn. I look forward to getting my hormones back in order.
