Rewind is the best revenge story! This book held me captive from the first sentence and kept the energy all throughout the story. Every character in this book is so well fleshed out. Like it’s absolutely crazy that each character has that much information about them that it’s not overwhelming and that it is relevant to the story. At first, I felt sorry for the FMC Amina because everything bad that could happen to her did happen to her, but she found her strength and she kept pushing and she knew she deserved better and she also knew that everyone that did her wrong deserved her wrath. Mark was such a disgusting villain and he was written so well that it made my skin crawl. Ethan the MMC had a gentle swag about him and I loved his protective nature, but that he also was not weak at all. This book was great and I highly recommend

It Was Good But…

Amina and Ethan are both given second chances to change their futures and they don’t hesitate to take it!

This story sounded really interesting and overall I liked it. Amina and Ethan are great apart and together. They figure out what’s happened and accept it very quickly so the story can keep moving. Amina’s growth, revenge, etc. was super satisfying but Ethan’s not so much. It was rushed and not complete. What happens during their trip? And what’s their life like 5 years from now?!
This is truly what dropped this down from a 4-4.5 star story to a 3.5 star story.

Overall it was entertaining but I wish Ethan’s story had been more satisfying. But give it a try you might think differently.

I received an ARC of this book ad I am glad that I did. I really enjoyed the story of love and grief and how love lost never really dies. I also love the theme of love at first sight but never realized and how we never know when today is our last day and not living the life that you should be living because of bad choices but also circumstance. Getting the chance to start over and really live the life that you want, deserve and should be living was a fun concept. Ethan and Amina get a do over and share a beautiful love both complimenting and balancing each other all while getting revenge on those that hurt them and made the rewind necessary in the first place. I am so glad that Amina got the healthy, loving and passionate relationship that she deserved, and that Ethan was able to come to terms with his family history/past and he could heal the part of him that always felt incomplete. Great book full of drama- Mark and his horrible family, the ratchet and mean Candace, Mark's hypocritical parents and Ethan who has a deadly enemy that he did not even know about- a really good read. Amina reclaiming her life and spirit is so good and I died laughing at the engagement party scene.

When I read the synopsis for this story, I immediately thought of 'The Butterfly Effect' with Ashton Kutcher. This story is more reanimation of two people whose fate are intertwined are brought back to life for a do-over. I would have rated this story higher except for the ending, which felt like more, like there will be a Book 2 and the typos in the story.

Eve Vaughn is a great storyteller, a seasoned writer that always tells interesting stories BUT there are ALWAYS typos in her stories and there shouldn't be at this stage of the game. Typos that could be caught with a simple read-through from a pair of FRESH EYES.

Still, this issue won't stop me from reading her books.

Recommended: Read It!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book!
Ethan and Amina both come from a place of trauma, but for very different reasons. When life presents them both with a second chance, they must choose how they want to live their new futures.
I loved both the main characters! Ethan, for his ability to truly care for his partner. And Amina, for going against her past and paving the way to a bright future.
And while this book was more love story than spicy, the spicy scenes were amazing!
I can't wait to see what Eve Vaughn comes out with next!!

Enjoyed!

The storyline was was pretty good and I enjoyed the main two characters. I was happy Ethan and her got a do over in life if only you could do a rewind in real life. I only wished we could have saw the reaction of both characters on their surprise for each other. I would have liked to know what happened after he met his father. What happened when the 5 years came up? 3.50 stars

The second time around!

The second time around is most certainly not like the first time. This storyline has so much promise. Amina and Ethan, both after suffering horrible tragedy, are given a second chance. The premise and plot were fresh and unique. However, the editing, grammatical errors and rush ending dropped what could have been a 5 star book to 3 stars. The story felt incomplete.

EXCELLENT!!!

This book was very good. I loved the chemistry between ETHAN & AMINA. Their love and passion was so electrifying. The storyline was different and made you wonder if you had the chance to do it all over again what would you change. 🤔🤔🤔Mark and Candace deserved each other they were both horrible human beings.

I'm a sucker for time travel stories, especially going back to fix your messy life. But the writing was a bit clunky, particularly the spice scenes. And the story seemed rushed. The idea had a lot of potential. I just wish it had been expanded on more.

I got an ARC for this book. I really enjoyed the story. It gave both the hero and heroine a do over to find each other and get their HEA. While there are some errors it didnt take away from the story. It was well written and I cant wait to read more from Eve.

Needs an editor!

The idea was good, just badly implemented. Author couldn't keep the pronouns straight for majority of the book, for one.So many errors,period..2 stars as I finished it.

oh to go back in time…

Really good read. Happy Amina and Ethan got somewhat of a happy ending. I stayed for the ending but felt like a cliff hanger ending to me.

Please get a proofreader and editor! Maybe they would know the poor, unclaimed, and unidentified people are buried in a "potters grave" not a "plotter"s" one.

I am truly amazed that EVE VAUGHN would write this stupid shit, amina is dumb as fuck and needed a bullet in the head not running over with a truck, so we had to relive her crap life not once but twice. I wish writers i admire would stop writing the weak female/need saving trope.
Eve Vaughn has written some seriously badass books but this wasn't one of them.
