I'm quite conflicted. As someone who watched the show and was really curious to get a deeper look into and understanding of these characters, I found myself completely immersed in the world building and in their lives throughout the novel.
But the part I was hoping would be explored more deeply, the final arc regarding their past lives and the ending, ended up feeling way too rushed and even less developed than in the show. The adaptation actually managed to give it a certain depth that, now having read the novel, I can appreciate much more.
Still, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and diving back into these characters world!
