I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to join Ingrid J. Adams’ Akasha Street Team and receive an ARC of Intended—my very first advanced copy! And let me tell you: what a way to kick off the ARC life.

Before diving into the review, let’s talk genre—because Intended might be exactly what you never knew you were looking for!
Romantasy = a romance story set in a fantasy world, with magical elements baked into the setting.
Paranormal romance = set in a recognisable, real-world setting, but infused with supernatural characters or powers (think telekinesis, clairvoyance, witches, etc).
Magical realism = a genre where magic threads through an otherwise realistic world, often reflecting deeper themes around identity and humanity.

If you’ve ever tried reading traditional fantasy or romantasy and found yourself lost in the labyrinth of world-building, struggling to remember kingdoms, squinting at elaborate maps, or drowning in a cast of eleventy million characters with names you can’t pronounce—fear not. The Descended Series might just be your perfect entry point. It lands firmly in the paranormal romance genre with a sprinkling of magical realism, offering just the right amount of mystical without overwhelming.

Now, the book:
By Book Three, our beloved Indi, Cora, and the gang are all grown up—and yes, the spice level has matured right along with them. And I LOVE this natural evolution, especially because back in Book One, they were too young for all that (am I right?).

This book is PACKED with REVEALS—and I mean EPIC reveals. The web of past lives, soul bonds, and long-buried secrets is being tugged tight, drawing every character into a collision course that’s both shocking and utterly satisfying. And let me just say this—everyone is involved.
One of the absolute highlights? Ingrid’s talent for bringing characters to life. I ADORE them. And the era—actually two eras in this book!—is absolute gold. There’s a dreamy alternate timeline set in the 1970s, but most of the action takes place in the 1990s—my era! The nostalgic references, the politically incorrect banter... it all felt deliciously familiar. This book was like a personal DeLorean, transporting me straight back to my youth.

Some fav quotes:
Robbie: “Don’t hate me ‘cos you ain’t me.” and “I’m sorry for what I said when I was hungry.” (My kid needs this on a T-shirt.)
Nash: “I’ve been pumped and dumped. Again!”
Cora: “I can’t believe I once shared a womb with you.”
Indi: “Just because you were expecting a puppy and life handed you an echidna doesn’t mean you need to lie down and spoon the damned thing.”
Epic battle moment: “I’m a woman, dear. I can multitask.”

The 90s nostalgia had my face frozen in a Cheshire-cat grin:
“Sweep the leg, duchess, sweep the leg!”
“Slowly crossed her legs like Sharon-f***ing-Stone.”
“Yeah, Dirty Dancing meets Jaws.”

Shout-out to the locations, which are almost characters themselves:
More of Manly and Sydney (including The Greenwood Hotel—yes, even this Shire girl has partied there at least once).
Byron Bay in all its laid-back glory.
Sedona, Arizona—brought to life so vividly back in book one, I was googling travel guides.
Aspen—glamorous, snowy, and featuring one of the best burns I have ever had the pleasure of reading: “Where’d you learn to ski? Thredbo?”

As the characters’ paranormal powers develop, my fascination deepened right alongside them. Who knew I’d be this into telekinesis, mediumship, and precognition? Nash delivers one 90s precog moment so pitch perfect, I’m leaving it unspoiled for you to enjoy.

On a more serious note, Ingrid’s portrayal of children and individuals with special needs is genuinely moving:

“Old souls with very advanced abilities. Some are even so highly telepathic they choose not to speak verbally… They're functioning at a higher frequency than most people.”

I LOVE this imagery. If only more people could view autistic kids through this compassionate, respectful lens.

This book is edge-of-your-seat stuff—packed with explosive twists, nostalgia, humour, heart, and that signature touch of magic.

Did I mention the REVEALS?! One of my fellow Akasha Street Teamers even messaged me mid-read:
“From zero to foetal position, are you okay?”

If you love books that pull you in, serve up a found family to fall in love with, and take you on an emotional rollercoaster, then RUN—don’t walk—to this series.

✨ Highly recommend starting with Book One (Descended) and Book Two (Transcended) before diving into Intended. You’ll thank me later. ✨

This was an exciting third installment in this series! The concept is on point as always.

The story is written well and flows nicely. There are no plot holes and no unanswered questions. The book is very descriptive and the fantasy elements are excellent as always. The backdrop of Queensland, Australia is so exotic for me personally! I love the magical realism trope.

The characters were excellent and the usual suspects are along for the ride. I still love Robbie, he's my book BFF for the series! Cora and Indy are special and I love their relationship. All the characters are great and make this book enjoyable.

The book is in third person from multiple points of view including Cora and Indy. It works really well in the series and the author has done a great job .

I really recommend the book and the series to you all!

This is the most underrated series. This entire series is a must read for fans of Romantasy and Paranormal romance. I cannot say this any louder- Read the first 2 in the series first. This is not a standalone and shouldn't be read as one. The author is so intentional and diligent in creating themes, moments, and relationships that span the length of the series.

We are once again transported back to the wonderful world of the 1990's and thrust back into the Indigo/Cordelia love fest. There is no shortage of longing between the two as their bond continues to deepen. The battle between fate and free will rages on.

Along with the twin flames, all the colorful characters from the previous books are back with a new personal favorite emerging. Nash is the witty Ginger sidekick with a heart of gold and penchant for pleasing the ladies. All I picture is a devious smile and Prince Harry.

The drama follows this band of misfits as secrets are revealed, friendships unravel, and Reinenoir continues to be a thorn in everyone's side. The story is darker, deeper, and more intricate.

Ingrid flawlessly weaves this mystical world rooting it in reality with real life events, pop culture, and a soundtrack that will transport you back to the era.

Big secrets are finally revealed, a new web has been spun, and the ending will leave your jaw on the floor. Ingrid swings for the fences on this one and takes some big risks that not only pay off, but leave you desperate for more.

Thank you Ingrid for allowing me to read this book early. I cannot wait for the next one!

I’m not even sure I have words to describe this book. I was SHOOKETH. But in all the best ways.

This is now my favourite book in the series. It brought so many things together and the absolute bombs in this were HUGE.

I gasped. I laughed. I cried. I screamed. I cackled. I raged.

This book is EVERYTHING and I just can’t even describe it without giving things away.

Excuse me while I have an existential crisis and book slump.

ARC Review - Intended

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the pleasure to join Ingrid Adams ARC team for this book, and damn this was such an amazing book.

First off, this book can't be read as a standalone and needs to be read with the very first book. Inteneded is book 3 in the descended series. This book has romance and fantasy filled with so much more. Ingrid has outdone herself with Intended, and I absolutely loved the whole series.

This book and series is great for anyone who loves romantasy and paranormal romance that should give this book and series a read.

This book is set with 90s nostalgia, and I laughed, cried, screamed, and so much more throughout this book. I absolutely loved book 3 so much.

I just want to start by saying that I love this series! I was on the tours for the first two books and there was no way I was missing book 3!
As always, I loved this book! I will also say that this one has pissed me off more than the others 😂🙈 And by that I mean a lot of the characters seemed to be at their most vulnerable, which means their ugliest sides are coming out (looking at you Robbie). And as a reader who loves these characters, it’s infuriating to read characters doing these things when you know that they are so loved and it would just take a little communicating!
BUT!
The fact that Adams can pull these feelings from a reader? It shows how wonderful and emotive her writing is! She makes you want to punch and protect and hug her characters. Her books are very character driven, but she also does a wonderful job describing locations and homes and journeys.
The story in Intended escalated and then culminated and then the ending!!! If there is no happy ending to this series, I will be very upset!

I am sitting here after finishing Intended, the third book in the Descended series, trying to pick up the pieces and figure out how to put what I'm feeling into words.

Let's start off by saying what a crazy story. The first half of Intended is slow as the gang tries to live as normal lives as possible. But don't let that slowness fool you. The second half of the book tears you apart, just to put you back together then destroy you.

I love the realism of Intended (and the Descended series). Ingrid J Adams takes normal 90's young adults, gives them very real lives with the same challenges we faced as young adults, gives them heightened senses such as empathy, then gives them magic. This makes it super easy to connect with the characters.

I love Ingrid's representations of mental health and autism. Children with autism in Intended are "Old souls with very advanced abilities. Some are even so highly telepathic they choose not to speak verbally... They're functioning at a higher frequency than most people." I had to stop to collect myself after reading this. It was absolutely beautiful.

In Intended, our favourite characters return and we meet new allies and enemies. Massive reveals are given, huge secrets are unraveled, and we see an unexpected betrayal. Like it's predecessors, it's full of plot twists but unlike Descended and Transcended, it leaves us with a cliffhanger that I'm not sure I'll be able to recover from.

Thank you Ingrid J Adams for giving me an ARC of Intended. This is my honest review.

R E V I E W
And we’re back baby!!
I loved every single second, word, and moment written in this book (even the ones where I wanted to and maybe did scream)
There were moments that had me kicking my feet and giggly. Others where I was shaking my head reminiscing on being a teenager and doing silly teenager things. I cried. I was SHOOKETH.
So many amazing things happen and I am not telling you about any of it because this is book 3 and all of it is spoilery.
The character list at the start of this book was super helpful (especially if you are like me and didn’t do a reread!! It just helps refresh all the characters and some notable moments)
Indi, Cora, Robbie, Nash, Rory, Raf, Sasha, Scarlett, Matty all have my heart 💛
I also loved that we got some additional POVs throughout Intended. These POVs sent me on an emotional roller coaster to say the least.
The sass throughout this book is unmatched. I was cracking up 🤣
The chapter titles are on point as per usual!
Ingrid J Adams once again retains her title as the Queen of Cliffhangers.

Buckle Up, people!! Ingrid J. Adams is about to unleash another whirlwind of romance, fantasy and side-splitting humour with the highly anticipated third book in her series! Get ready to dive back into a world where the paranormal meets magical realism, all wrapped up in a deliciously witty package. This isn't just another fantasy novel; it's a story brimming with EPIC reveals that will leave you breathless. I can't give away too much, but trust me you'll want to devour the first two books before even *thinking* about cracking this one open.

Ingrid's talent for breathing life into her characters while flawlessly navigating the timelines of the 1970s and 1990s is simply astonishing. It's clear that Ingrid does not shy away from difficult subjects but rather imbraces them to add layers of realism and emotional gravity without sacrificing the enjoyment of the romantic and fantastical plot. As an Australian author, she infuses the narrative with refreshing authenticity, peppering the story with iconic locations like Sydney, Bryon Bay, and Thredbo, instantly recognisable and relatable for readers of all ages.

Prepare to witness the incredible growth of these characters, who have evolved and matured since the previous books, their powers blossoming alongside their personal journeys. The spice level has increased as the characters have grown making it a spiceier read (🌶️🌶️). Ingrid's knack for witty dialogue and comedic timing had me chuckling throughout the entire book!

Trust me when I say, this is a literary adventure you won't want to miss. A highly recommended read for anyone seeking a thrilling escape into a world brimming with magic, love, and laughter! Get ready to Continue the Journey with the Gang!

Wow! I love returning to the characters I enjoy and getting to continue their story.

This is definitely a book that you need to read the first two before diving in and just be prepared for a thicker book (over 700 pages).

Intended picks up after the second book and dives back into the lives of Indigo, Cordelia and everyone their lives touch. The blend between normal and paranormal continues to intrigue me, along with how children and past lives are intertwined. It really made me think.

There are definitely some new revelations (I might have correctly guessed one, go me!) that definitely help explain things. I really don’t want to give any away so you need to read the series and find out for yourself.

The epilogue is going to haunt me. I need some answers and I need them now.

intended is the 3rd book in the descended series. This book follows our favorite characters as they work through greif, love, and magic all while trying to live their best lives.💛

The spice is kicked up a notch but this is Soul aching, heart stopping ROMANCE🩷

You get a deeper view into some characters backstories. I love that this found family is there for eachother, especially when their not their best selves💛

Our villain steps it up and shows there is nothing, no matter how dark or gruesome it may be, she wont do to get what she wants😈

The writing of intended is so beautiful and immersive, it will have you heart broken, swooning and on the edge of your seat. 🩷

A binge worthy series 💯

I absolutely LOVE the magick in this world. I love the whole premise of the souls entwining with the same souls life after life. Being drawn to the same soulmate time and time again.
Ingrid has a special way of breaking your heart and piecing it back together again. I felt everything reading this book! Happiness, devastation, sad, angry, frustrated, giddy… wreck my heart and soul.
Following the different people and groups, the plot and twists were converging fast, and I was so happy some of my questions and predictions from previous books were answered. Some twists have left me shocked, and I’m still not over it.

There are not enough words to even express how amazing this series is, and Intended just took it to another level beyond. I literally want to and will be back to the beginning and read all three all over again.

The mix of romantasy and paranormal is so amazing, every character draws you in, but Indigo and Cordelia just always will have me.

Ingrid is amazing and her writing and ability to draw you in and weave an amazing world and characters, is indescribable, I can’t wait for every and anything she writes!!!

I usually read a book in a day or two, but life has got in the way and I’ve wanted to make this story last. I absolutely loved the first two books in the series and was extremely excited and thankful to receive an arc for this one. And it did not disappoint. I love all these characters and this story isn’t just fantastic, I love the magical elements to it but also love how you can forget your reading a book with magic in it too. I love the nostalgic elements of the story. I cannot wait for the next one ❤️

First of all, I need to say that I finished this book 2 weeks ago, and it took me this long to gather my thoughts enough to write my review. This book took me on a wild ride!

Intended - the third installment, has elevated the descended series to a new level. This book and series get infinity stars from me. It has completely captured my heart and soul, and become my fave series EVER. It's a cross between The Craft and 90210 - think paranormal romance with lots of drama and secrets.

Once again, Ingrid had me enraptured and absolutely consumed by her lovable characters (and some that you'll love to hate) and truly unique story. When you start one of her books, you are just so immersed in the story she's created you won't be able to put it down until it's finished.

I love being dropped back into a time where social media didn't exist and everything wasn't available on demand - it was such a simpler era. This story is steeped in 90s nostalgia (with a playlist that doesn't disappoint), and really brought me back to my own teenage years. It was also educational for someone who isn't Australian because I was learning more Aussie slang and may or may not have adopted "Yeah, nah" into my vocabulary🫣

I fell in love with the main characters all over again. Indi + Cordelia's love story continues to grow and evolve. I was eating up the over protectiveness from both sides. The spice level was turned up as these two lovebirds are now adults.
Some of our beloved side characters were more entrenched in the plot in this book too. We get to dive deeper with Nash, Raf + Robbie which was so great. It made me love all three even more. Aurora's give no fu*ks personality is back while she puts Cordelia through a powers boot camp. And Sasha is as calm and cool as always.

There were twists, turns + shocking secrets that had my jaw on the floor. I screamed, I cried, I laughed, this book gave us everything and more. The way Ingrid is able to write the emotions and struggles, both high and low, of the characters with such depth that you feel it is truly amazing.

For once I'm actually happy the next book isn't out yet, because I need more time to recover from the book hangover intended left me in.

The Descended Series Book 3.
I love this series. I love the cover and blurb of this book. I love the characters Wilson, Aspen, Raf, Nash, and Scarlett. I read this in two sittings. I couldn't put it down. I was shocked and surprised. My jaw was on the floor. This story is dark. I loved it. I loved the world building. I loved everything about this book. There was nothing I didn't like. I would highly recommend this series.

This is the third book in The Descended Series and having read and adored the first two books, Descended and Transcended, there was absolutely no way I wasn't going to be grabbing myself a copy of this next book.

I was initially drawn to these books by the gorgeous (and intriguing) front cover images! I love the intricacies as well as the colours and although I've read all these on e-book, I've also bought the books (and re-read the first two) to have on my shelves too!

They look amazing!

So, this third book continues the story from where we left everyone in book 2.

I love the continuation without jumping ahead too much and leaving us with questions.

We instantly come back and meet our returning characters as we learn some more of their history and this sucks us back into the book right from the off.

After the traumas of the first two books, I was fully prepared for another emotional rollercoaster here, but found in the main, this was definitely overshadowed by the frustration I felt as I watched the characters struggle to communicate. I wanted to scream at some of them at times.

Don't get me wrong, this is still emotionally harrowing.....but I loved every second!

This is another chunky read at just over 700 pages and I honestly had to deep breathe for a moment when I spotted it - but as soon I started, I was totally immersed and fully invested until the last page!

These books are so well worth the read and it's impossible to not be swept along with some of the best characters and the most beautiful writing.

I need book 4 asap!!

“In life, the people you love, they change you, they heal your scars, they make you see the world differently.”

I tend to suffer from reading a really great book and then completely and utterly forgetting the MCs name and the plot almost immediately so I try to write my reviews while the characters are still fresh in my mind… having said all that.
I have to sit and hold space for the characters, the plot and the brilliant and dynamic writing in each of these books in this series.

I can’t even adequately explain the series when I recommending them (of which I do almost on the daily) because the books are so intricate and multi layered, everything is important. Nothing can simply be explained away in a short sentence. These books… TRANSCEND!! It’s bloody right there in the name.

If you want to go on a journey, have the best time and be unable to accurately describe it to your friends afterwards because the right words just don’t exist than this is the series for you.
Obviously this is book 3 so go back and start with book 1 but know that each book gets deeper, spicier with more pearl clutching twists and turns!

All I’m asking if for is for this tetralogy to be picked up for 6 seasons and a movie. God forbid a girl have dreams to see those boys in the flesh!

I cannot speak highly enough of this book series! It started with Descended, then came Transcended and now Intended. The books just keep getting better and better!

They probably fall into the romantasy genre, lots of love, action, witchcraft and higher senses.

Intended sees Indigo and Cordelia living without the threat of the warlocks...well for a little while anyway.

This book is completely action packed and full of twists and turns with what I can only describe as an explosive ending. I assumed this was the final book of a trilogy but now I'm not too sure...👀

I cannot get enough of the characters in this book, all so different but destined to be together ✨

’You were always intended for me, and I for you. That’s the way it’s always been. And this is the lifetime we’ll get it right.’

‘There are some loves that leave an echo in your soul.’

This is an emotional review in the best way possible. I had the amazing privilege of reading Intended and being trusted with her secrets, her EPIC reveals and Ingrid’s beautiful storytelling very early on.

There is something intangible and incredible in the synergy of working with such a gifted, gorgeous author like Ingrid. We laughed and wept and fought hard for these characters and pushed for every piece of their hearts (even when the characters wanted to push back)

Thank you, Ingrid for trusting me with your world and words. I cannot say enough how much it means to be in your inner circle ♥️

I fell in love with Descended from THAT opening (and definitely climbed into your DMs with my live thoughts and emotions - thank you for being so gracious with my reactions: What the pardon just happened?! Don’t do it… and ‘I’m coming, my love. Wait for me.’)

To then to be invited into Transcended for Betas and the way we got to PLAY and dig in with these beloved characters, remains one of my favourite collaborations.
Stand out music moments are: Born to Be My Baby, Don’t Give Up, Great Southern Land, and Glory Box 🎶

And then INTENDED entered the Chat like the spunkster, feeling, BADASS BABE of a book that I’m still thinking about.

The Reveals. The gorgeous heart. Top Tier Banter and the tenderness and care woven into these characters from the very beginning shone so damn brightly in this book 💫🩶✨

Because No Spoilers, here are my fave moments:

💛 Love that spans lifetimes
💛 EPIC 90s Playlist
💛 The Nostalgia
💛 A rocking dual timeline of the 70s and 90s
💛 Jaw Dropping REVEALS
💛 Sassy Found Family
💛 Stairway to Heaven
💛 Paranormal Romance
💛 Crafty nods to cult classics
💛 Touch him and get tit punched

Intended is the third book in this compelling Australian series and believe me you’ll WANT to read Book One: Descended and Book Two: Transcended first 🩶🩷💛

The way that Ingrid has woven such nuanced storytelling with the sneakiest of breadcrumbs is nothing short of masterful!

It’s about love, grief, redemption, finding each other and yourselves. It’s timeless and sweeping and authentic with cracking humour.

Special shoutout to my favourite English muffin:

Nash ♥️🎸 I loved him early on and will protect him at all costs. His story is beautiful. He IS a music love language.

This magical series is The Craft meets Heartbreak High meets the soundtrack of my life growing up and so much MORE.

Infinity ♾️🌟

‘She loved him. Til her last breath and beyond, no matter what. And together, they could do anything, conquer everything, be anything, do everything. Together, they would conquer fate.’

A Captivating, Uplifting and Anything-Else-In-Between Read: Intended by Ingrid J. Adams

This is a chunky book that doesn’t just entertain but also moves and inspires you, Intended by Ingrid J. Adams delivers on every level, every chapter.

The playlist on Spotify adds more depth to the nostalgic-magic as I got to meet more unhinged characters in the series.

This is the third book in the Descended series. Intended is a beautifully woven puzzle that blends supernatural romance with deep, soul-searching themes, and a visual smorgasbord of the bold, the beautiful, the soulless people, picturesque places and everything else in between!

1990s Australia, Indigo Wolfe, Cordelia Carlisle & Co, a multitude of divine souls connected beyond the boundaries of time. Their relationships are filled with intensity, mystery, and a sense of destiny, making it both an engrossing read and a touching exploration of true power, and true love’s gentle to oh-so-spicy kisses…and more!

Heads up teenagers to twenty-year-olds of the eras before social media - this series takes you to a trip down 1990’s memory lane - the good & the bad & the ugly world.

You will giggle like a wiggly teenager on the number of times you’ll stop & remember the times. Highlight all the intimate spicy chapters in this book - the scenes are so well-written with elegance and with heart. Not to compare here but while there are books that are popular because it is heavyset smutty, this instalment is for the romantically young at heart who wants to remember how to fall in love, be love-struck over and over again; a gift for the one who wants to be moved or changed in some way.

What really sets Intended apart is its ability to entertain while inviting deep reflection. Ingrid J. Adam’s words, ideas and vivid storytelling bring the characters to life in a way that feels so intimate, filled with excitement, almost experiencing true-to-life moments & sliding-doors situations…I was so drawn into the story of a life of luxury, the wonders of magic in between realms and the reality that we can create our own fantasy. I also found confronting very real themes; the role of the ego, the pain of deep, dark emotional wounds, and the redemptive power of friendship, family and above all, love.

This book doesn’t just tell a story; it invites you to take a look inward. It reminds us that we all carry past hurts and inner battles, and that in this chaotic world, healing is possible—especially when love, compassion, and self-awareness guide the way. It’s a book that feels like a mirror of the darkness within and a beacon of light all at once.

The sweeping romance, the power of the mystical, the meaningful life lessons, Intended leaves a lasting impression.

This is the kind of read where words are not merely for reading, there were words that were like a spark that invites questioning. The kind of words that squeezes your loving heart with the weight of your deepest truths. And if you feel inclined to read between the lines, you will find the unseen wounds, and when you do, that is your invitation to see the soul, through the words that calls to help heal your beautiful Soul.

“…at the end of the day, it’s ultimately the incoming soul’s choice whether or not it incarnates...every baby that comes into this world is only born because it chooses to be…”

The Descended Series (or as I fondly call it : The Indigo Wolfe Chronicles) shines with a light not of this world.

my rating is actually 4.5 stars but Goodreads doesnt allow for half stars.

So this is the third instalment of the descended series and picks up where book 2 left off. This instrument covers more backstory, we learn more about Raf, Nash, Scarlett and her parents, and we meet up with Wilson again when the crew meet up in Aspen for New Year’s. We meet some new characters who are set to cause chaos, and of course we haven’t heard the last of the warlocks.
I was so excited for the release of this book, but I have to admit I was also filled with more than a little bit of trepidation given what the last book did to me. And I have to say for the most part I’m pleasantly surprised. Now don’t get me wrong it is still the emotional rollercoaster ride we have come to expect from Ingrid, but it didn’t hit me as hard, until the end that is, for which I am thankful.
As you know from my previous reviews of this series, I am obsessed, and boy am I glad this one didn’t disappoint. Now I love me a good diva and in this series Robbie Carlisle steps up and does the role justice, he has been my guilty pleasure, but my goodness this book makes him hard to like let alone love. However, the story isn’t finished and I hope Ingrid gives him the chance to redeem himself, for his family if nothing else.
All that being said I do have a bone to pick with Ingrid, what was up with that ending! Talk about shock! What a cliffhanger! I was lulled into a full sense of security and then bam, I was hit with that ending! I need the next book NOW!
I loved this book, it’s another strong 4 1/2 star read for me and I would highly recommend, and if you haven’t read this series yet, what are you waiting for?

This is book 3 in the series, I’ve already read the first two and so you continue on following Indigo and Cordelia on their fated love story.
When I started this one, I struggled as it’s a much slower paced read than the first two (for my personal reading preference). But I got it, I understood why it was written that way. In this book you get to know the characters on a much much deeper level. You learn their backgrounds, hopes, dreams, fears and everything that makes them who they are today. The characters develop and mature as you read really pulling you in and you feel so connected and invested! It’s so beautifully written and no detail is spared. The descriptive writing of Indigo & Cordelia’s love is just so emotive and truly spellbinding! It flows well and I feel Ingrid has excelled in “filling in the gaps” so you’re not left wondering or having unanswered questions about characters or plot. There’s lots of twists in there as well to keep you reading.
Personal journeys of healing, love & discovery. Self destruction, a father who appears to be back from the dead, connections made & broken. Heartbreak, anger, joy, love and every emotion imaginable- this book will have you feeljng them all. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

'Nash lived his life in Caps Lock, crashing and bashing his way around…'

I adored the first two books in this series and the third is even better, although I don't think I've known how a book hangover feels until now. I don't know where to begin. Everything about Intended is gorgeous, from the red-rocks of Sedona in Arizona, USA, to the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean in Sydney, Australia.

I loved the nineties theme that has been running throughout this series, and to be reminded of so many things from my twenties. Life without the hassle of mobile phones, the internet and social media.

This is one of the best fantasy series I have ever read. I have never been bored and wanted things to happen any faster. Told through multiple points of view, the book flows at just the right pace and the characters are loveable (well, most of them)! Cordelia and Indigo's beautiful relationship continues, and Robbie is probably still my favourite, even if he does lose his way slightly in this one.

You'll be left on a huge cliffhanger at the end of this one, I didn't know whether to swear, cry or demand answers! If fantasy is your thing, then I urge you to read this series. They definitely need to be read in order, so go and put them all on your wishlist and let me know what you think.

Thank you to Ingrid J. Adams for the gifted copy of Intended.

This is a Paranormal love story steeped in fantasy. I loved the 1970's and 1990's era. The 90's was nostalgic for me. I may not of been enthralled with this book, but that does not mean it was not good. It just was not for me. The author did an amazing job with the writing. She flawlessly weaved the story and eras together while breathing life into the characters. I love how Ingrid does not shy away from difficult subjects. If you like how the paranormal brings in magical realism this book is for you.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It has so many elements that I love in my fantasy books lately. Romantasy ( that's a must), a little paranormal, and another favourite, magical realism. I never could have anticipated how much I would enjoy this series.
Reading the first 2 books in the series is definitely recommended, and the character development is well worth the investment in reading them all in order.
I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next, she is now on my must read list!
