Rough Ride is a steamy, reverse-harem, girl gets her 3 cowboys romance. Sophie is a bartender who has sworn off cowboys. Until she meets Eli, Johnny, and Sawyer. The three are competing rodeo riders who don't even like each other, but they all like Sophie and keep visiting her at work. They eventually realize she brings them together, and it gets hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y. Their chemistry was insane and the ending was happy after a lot of drama. This was different than expected, but I enjoyed it.

Sophie is a bartender at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas. She works hard and plays hard, but one thing she definitely no longer does is date rodeo cowboys. While handing out work flyers at the area of the rodeo arena designated for the cowboys' trailers, she comes across three incredibly handsome cowboys. Temptation runs high. If ever she were to ignore her self imposed rule to not dates cowboys, it would be at the hands of one of these three.
Johnny Armstrong is a smooth talking cowboy who affectionately nicknames Sophie "sky-eyes". Johnny's frenemy on the rodeo circuit is Eli Hawkshaw. These two love to argue and place bets on who between them will win an event. The competition between these two is fierce. Lastly is Sawyer Easton. Where Eli is a jokester and loveable like a Golden Retriever, Sawyer is the exact opposite. He's dark, dangerous and broody. He's serious and doesn't play games. That is until he gets a look at Sophie handing out flyers.
The three cowboys are instantly taken by Sophie and each vows to get to know her better. They show up individually at Billy Bob's where she is a bartender later that night, and in their own way, they let her know that they are interested. Little did they know that Sophie had been previously burned by a cowboy on their rodeo circuit and wants no part of their interest.
The three pull out all the stops to attract her attention and win her affection. Sophie's heart slowly melts towards these three, but in the end, who will she choose? Or will she even gave to choose?

Sophie made a rule that she doesn’t date cowboys, anymore. She and her friend Liz are at the rodeo camp. They are handing out fliers for the bar called Billy Bob’s. They are both bartenders there. Sophie is single and Liz is married with a newborn and a two-year-old.
They come upon two men arguing but they stop when they see Sophie. Johnny Armstrong is blond with blue eyes and Elijah Hawkshaw is a brunette. They are respectful and don’t ogle Sophie. They give them fliers. Then, they arrive at the next trailer and find a man all dressed in black fixing a saddle. They give him a flyer and Liz says that he should stop by the bar. He says okay and goes back to fixing the saddle. They hand out fliers to everyone they can at the rodeo camp and head the four miles back to the bar. Billy Bob’s is the largest honky tonk in the world with thirty bars, a dozen dance floors and multiple live music stages. Plus, there are several mechanical bulls, pool tables and axe throwing.
Johnny finds Sophie at bar number seven. Eli strolls in and heads to Sophie’s bar. He asks her out to dinner, but she tells him that she works every night of the rodeo. This book takes place during the Fort Worth Rodeo bringing together three competitors from Colorado and a bartender. Of course these competitors knew each other, but none of them were friendly with each other. Johnny, Elijah, and Sawyer
quickly became frenemies with the common goal in mind of winning the rodeo weeks with Sophie. Only she had sworn off dating cowboys due to past relationships. These three came to the bar, where she worked every night to see her, as well as she sold beer in the stands each time they competed. She helped them fight corruption within the Fort Worth Rodeo Association. She was a strong independent woman that the guys soon learned was the glue holding them together. A slow to build and to burn book, but when it finally developed, it was smoking hot on more than one level.

This was such a lovely, sweet, sassy & steamy story where you couldn't help but smile reading it.
Having sworn off anything to do with the rodeo cowboys after getting hurt by her cowboy ex but Johnny, Eli & Sawyer were making it hard to stick to. When they came first came into town for the rodeo there was a spark between her Johnny & Eli when she was handing out leaflets but there was also something about the Sawyer with his broody sexy cowboy.
It was obvious from the start how Johnny & Eli felt about her & the 3 easily fell into a sweet steamy relationship but there was something about Sawyer that she was drawn to.
Once you start reading this you fall in love with Johnny & Eli straight away but she can't help but hope Sawyer gives in to how we can see how he really feels about Sophie.
I definitely recommend reading this book but maje sure you have a fan at hand for some very steamy parts .

I really enjoyed this story about Sophie who is a bartender, and she meets three Cowboys while out, handing out flyers for her job. She first meets Eli and Johnny who are very flirty with her, but make her feel comfortable in a way that no other cowboy has, and then she meets up with Sawyer who is a surly cowboy, but all three men can’t seem to stay away from her. Their relationship grows until they stand up to, a bully who thinks he owns everything, especially the rodeo, but they all went out in standing up to him and they all eventually go to have a happily ever after.

This book was not what I had expected from the start. And I loved it. Three very different men who aren't friends (more like frenemies) who decide to share the bartender they all fell for. Phew!
Talk about a hot romance. Eli the jokester who constantly hits on Sophie constantly. Johnny the adorable one who wins her heart first. And Sawyer the brooding one who peeks Sophie's interest immediately.

In this book we meet Sophie, Johnny, Elijah, and Sawyer. Sophie only has 1 rule for herself and that is no cowboys. When she meets these three though there is something different about them. Johnny, Elijah, and Sawyer know from the moment they bump into Sophie the want more than that one interaction with her. The only problem is getting her to be willing to give them a ride. Can they all find the HEA they are wanting or will they let the past make that something that will never happen?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was another engaging and steamy romance by this author and it brings together bartender, Sophie, and three cowboys, Johnny, Eli and Sawyer. The three guys all know each other but all are smitten with Sophie. This brings out their competitiveness but they keep ignoring that she doesn't date cowboys ;) Of course that doesn't hold, and soon enough she is dating all of them. I really like how strong and independent she is and that they realize that she's the glue holding them together. With some corruption to fight, drama and a slow build to hot spice, this was a page turner for me :D

Johnny, Elijah, and Sawyer are used to competing against each other in the rodeo but when they set their sights on Sophie the stakes are higher with the prize being her. When the three realize that there is corruption in the rodeo they must work together to save each other and realize that they don't mind working together. This is a super steamy read with each of the three guys getting to know her on their own but when they all decide to work together things get HOT.

I really enjoyed this book from Cassie and she always does her research for each and everyone of her books. Loved the rodeo concept and all the Fort Worth references. Even the great Billy Bobs! Iconic.
I just love the banter back and forth from our FMC and her MMC. Not to be discouraged they kept poking at her and made her reconsider not dating a cowboy.
Great character building and lots of steam. This is definitely a book to add to your reading or TBR list.

Entertaining 5 stars. - Haha, funny book title! Sophie is having too many rides. I don’t think any of them are rough. The scenes with Johnny, Eli, Sawyer or combos are steamy and can be enthusiastic but nothing rough. It was all pretty smooth LOL. Story drama is courtesy of a recent ex. There were mentions of Sophie’s other ex but no detailed explanation on why it ended. The author’s description of the rodeo events are detailed enough to be interesting. Good bedtime reading. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

The story is both heartwarming and bold, with just the right balance of emotion and heat. The writing is smooth and engaging, and the characters are incredibly well developed—each one adding something special to Sophie’s journey. Here's the reason why... Get your facts straight. You didn't even look into where the big rodeo's are or how long they run. Denver and Ft Worth overlap each year as they are different circuits and Then you have about 6 weeks before the Houston. Ok, I'm a country girl who lives on a small ranch and happen love rodeo's. Love your writing but can't read things that don't match up with what I know. I understand it's fiction, but rodeo's aren't fiction. I will say keep writing and I'll keep reading.

Unfortunately corruption in the rodeo is exposed but the only compensation is done behind doors. Although one part of it will hurt the one behind it much more. I liked how all four fell in love and decide to buy a ranch together like each always wanted.

I'd very much enjoyed this reverse harem story that's about our hot rodeo cowboys: Johnny, Elijah, and Sawyer who meet Sophie our bartender. Sophie and Liz are handing out fliers for the bar they work at around the camp area for the rodeo. They meet Johnny and Elijah and then they meet Sawyer and give them fliers. Then the three men converge at Billy's Bob to look up Sophie. What happens afterward is a wonderful story with wonderful characters, steamy interactions, instant attraction, and drama. This was a well written story that grabbed me from the beginning to the end in this enjoyable copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.

Bartender Sophie (FMC) has sworn off Cowboys because of her history with them. So when 3 Cowboys - 2 flirty ones - Eli & Johnny and 1 broody one - Sawyer barge into her life she slowly starts to like them. Working on her to endear them to her by taking her on dates to get to know them better. Leading to plenty of off of the charts steaminess between all of them. I genuinely liked their dynamic together. Some laughs were all tied into making for a great read.

I enjoyed this story. All of the MMCs were so different that it made their dynamics with the FMC more interesting.
Also, I know this is nitpicking but I wish the cover art was different. There are 3 MMCs but only 2 men on the cover. I went into this expecting 2 and was happily surprised when the third MMC showed up.

I absolutely loved this book. Cassie truly is a great author and does a fabulous job of catching and keeping your attention throughout the entirety of the story. Loved the characters and how their friendships developed. I have yet to read a book by Cassie that I haven't loved.

Over the top why choose reverse harem read. Friendly competition that's not really a competition. The heart wants with the heart wants. And because she cannot make up her mind why not not choose? Interesting interludes brow raising Fantastical realistic scenes. Good read.

Cassie Cole è senz'altro la regina indiscussa del reverse harem e di tutti questi libri che apprezzo tantissimo quando ho bisogno di staccare la testa. Non siamo di fronte al premio Strega, è ovvio, ma ha la capacità di creare storie divertenti e piccanti che fanno sorridere.
In questo caso conosciamo Sophie, abile barista alle prese con il rodeo ospitato dalla sua città natale.
A suon di battute piccanti, conosciamo i primi due cowboy Johnny ed Elijah, i più divertenti senza ombra di dubbio. E subito ecco, il cowboy più scontroso, quello più cupo e che in qualche modo lascia senza fiato ogni singola persona di genere femminile.
Un quartetto assolutamente ben assortito, con una trama di fondo che reggerebbe perfino senza il reverse harem. Insomma una storia da ombrellone che assolutamente non guasta mai.

I did not think I was going to love this book as much as I did! 3 hot cowboys- apparently I have a new kink!
This book made me laugh out loud quite a few times and the sex scenes were hot.

Rough Ride is a cowboy, reverse harem read featuring steamy, smouldering moments. The ample drama and humour make it an easy-to-read, page-turning novel with a great HEA. 4 stars.
