A skeptical reporter chases a wildly unlikely scoop that a swashbuckling mailman is a reincarnated pirate, only to find she’s falling in love—and that the story appears to be true.
I’ve been telling friends that I’m totally into this book I’ve been reading for the last couple weeks. I finished Pirate Stamp last night. Absolutely loved it. The mysterious letter. The rural Nebraska setting with the inside of the barn reminiscent of the ship's hull in the waving fields of grain, the whole mailman connection and all the characters from Sammy to Gabe, and a thousand connected people and details (and bar fights) were brilliant. Best of all, he really brought these people to life. One of those books you hate to finish. Aced it.
Oh my gosh. I totally loved this novel. It’s got to be a movie: it has everything… and just right. Casey just has a way of painting the most wonderful scenes and characters. My imagination and scenes were delighted. Now I want to see it on the big screen. Ahhh! Thank you for the adventure!!!
