That Feeling when the man you just robbed and left tied up and blindfolded turns out to be in the mafia…
I'm not proud of the things I've had to do for money to pay off my dad's debts and put my younger brother through college. But I'll never regret it.
What I do regret is accidentally robbing a Moretti.
Having to look over my shoulder and ducking every time a car backfires is bad enough, but when the man in question starts costing me business? Yeah, I think we’re going to have a problem.
I never knew I could feel the way I do when Luca Moretti gets on his knees for me, but I don’t have time to be romanced by this obsessed, submissive, mafioso.
No one has ever made me feel as strong and capable as he does. Can I really be the viper he sees me as? If I learn how to bite, can I finally make my life my own with Luca Moretti at my side?
K.M.Neuhold has long since been a romance junkie. When she’s not writing she’s reading or spending time snuggling with her husky or her husband. She fell in love with M/M romance last year and hasn’t been able to turn back. There’s nothing she loves more than love in all its forms.
This felt much shorter than the other books in the series, which was a bit of a shame because I was really looking forward to getting to know Luca after his appearance in Dante and Sal's book.
The instalove between Luca and Anders was fun and fast paced, the protectiveness and kidnapping from Luca was definitely a little unhinged but fit well with the rest of the Moretti men, and Anders getting Luca to be super submissive was actually really cute.
I just wish we'd gotten to know more about Luca! We get a lot of Anders's backstory and his current situation, but for Luca we just get his favourite sandwich, his sexual preferences, and his day to day job. He felt a little like a bystander in his own story. For a shorter story, it also felt like there was an imbalance between sex scenes, plot and romance. There were lengthy sex scenes, but I would have rather seen more of their relationship outside of a bedroom setting.
I did love Sparrow taking Anders under his wing, but I also would have liked to see Anders meeting Dante because those three together just screams trouble...
It was a nice addition to the series, but I feel like I've only gotten half the story.

Anders is 28. His mom died when he was 20 and his dad is an alcoholic drug addict with a gambling problem. His dad has pimped him out for the last 8 years, to fund his lifestyle, threatening to use Anders' little brother Finn if Anders protested. With Finn about to graduate and move out of town for a job, Anders finally sees an end in sight, cuz if Finn can't be held over his head, he can leave. For the last year, whenever he could manage it, he's been stealing from his Johns and building a little nest egg to run. One night he attracts the attention of Luca, and Luca buys a night with him.
Luca is a low ranking member of the Moretti Mafia family. He is from a big scary family, and he's scary himself, but inside he's a cinnamon roll subby pain slut who has never found anyone who can give him what he needs. He sees something in Anders and wants him. But Anders rocks his world and then robs him and leaves. And Luca has to chase him down and force him to give him a chance and open up to him. Luca makes Anders feel seen, accepted, and makes him feel strong, like the person he should have been before his father messed up his life. Ander's exit plan is messed up, and now he needs to come up with another plan.
I like this world the author has built. The network of characters and relationships is great. When the side characters appear, I have a lot of affection for them. I especially love Sparrow and Xav's dynamic, Xav being a murder marshmallow. And Uncle Sal appearing and cackling over things was hilarious. I love this take on mafia men.
I enjoyed this book, there was a lot to like about it. Luca and Anders were good for each other. But I kind of wish Luca's personality had been a bit more vibrant, that he had had a bit more to him than his interest in Anders. I'd been hoping for a bit more from "Dante's puppy", lol. I wanted amped up characterization and humour around Luca being the puppy of the bunch. We got some, but I wanted more of it! But that's just me being greedy.
Some notable moments:
"“We had fun and then…” I clear my throat, heat rising in my face. “He robbed me and took off.” There’s a beat of silence before Sal howls with laughter. “You got rolled? That’s fucking priceless.” I bite my tongue and wait for his laughing fit to end. He doubles over and cackles, wiping tears off of his cheeks."
"I doubt Mads or any of the other guys know much more about Anders than I do, and obviously they aren’t willing to spill even if they do. Not without a hell of a lot of incentive, and something tells me beating information out of the bartenders will make it awkward as hell to order a drink the next time. It’s an option, but not the one I want to start with if I can help it."
"“Uncle Sal, this is Anders, my—” “Prisoner,” Anders finishes for me. “I thought we settled on ‘boyfriend,’” I counter, returning his glare. “Boyfriend,” he agrees sagely. “As long as ‘boyfriend’ means someone you paid for sex, stalked, and then kidnapped and won’t let leave.” Sal makes a choking sound."
*FYI about steam: I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink.
**Note about spoilers: I like to comment on the plot of a book in reviews, so I almost always mark my reviews as containing spoilers. But I try to avoid spoiling the big dramatic moments! As a reader, I personally like to know what I'm getting into before I read a book so I know more about the content and if it's to my taste/mood, so I try to give that information in my reviews for myself when I'm considering rereading and also for other readers.

Delicious. "Green light. Green light. Green..." This was sexy AF🔥 A gorgeous Pretty Woman (ish) retelling. I freaking loved it. *Favorites *To reread 🔥🌈💯
*Just a quick note, this was a shorter book but perfect for this story. Sometimes the length of a book makes it or breaks it. Here it was a chef's kiss.
This is the 4th in the Mafia Bound series, and it's Luca's turn to find his HEA. The Moretti men definitely do have a type, and it's apparently dominant murder twinks 😂. Anders is definitely in the same realm as Dante and Sparrow, although arguably not as murderous. Possibly. He is feisty and takes no nonsense which all kind of made me wonder why he was so submissive to his Dad, he's more than capable of standing up for himself so that felt a little odd, to me. The attraction between Anders and Luca is immediate and all consuming, and there's more than a ton of heat in this story.
This is short-ish, definitely not sweet but hot and very dark. I liked both Anders and Luca and how they fitted together perfectly. It was fun being back in the Mafia Bound world and seeing Sparrow and the others again.
Anders does what he needs to do to protect his younger brother from their addiction riddled father. He meets Luca and even though their steamy encounter ends up differently for Luca than expected it doesn’t negate any of the sparks that fly between them. They really do perfectly compliment each other and Luca is determined to be with Anders again. Anders is wonderfully salty with a side of sweetness but also full of venom when needed whilst Luca is another Moretti family member who is really just a cinnamon roll. Together these two wonderful men work together to ease the burdens Anders carries and in doing so find their true selves and a swoon worth HEA. There’s plenty of steam, a dash of angst that’s balanced by humorous moments that made me smile and a HEA that warmed my heart.
Oh Wow, that was so much fun. I love the Moretti's! Big, bad, scary mafiosas who turn to jelly in the hands of the men who love them. Luca is Sal's nephew and works mainly on collections and clean up, putting him pretty low on the mafia ladder. He picks Anders up one night in a club and his life will never be the same again. I loved these guys together, Anders was definitely from the same mould as Sparrow, with a violent streak a mile wide and Luca was happy to submit to his venomous personality. This story was HOT, but there were also tender moments, laugh out loud moments and epically violent moments. Just exactly as it should be
Rating: 4 Steam: 3 PoV: dual, 1st person Genre: contemporary romance, MM Tropes / tags: mafia, client / escort, kink
I'm finding these stories very amusing, and it's always a great time seeing murder twinks finding their big mafia men and putting them on their knees.
Anders and Luca's story was fast paced and had a bit of insta-love to it, even if their first meeting ended up with Anders leaving Luca bound and robbed in a hotel room... Anders had Luca intrigued though, and after a little stalking and kidnapping neither of them were ready to be done with each other.
Luca was so soft for Anders, and it was hot to see him submitting and finally getting what he'd been craving. Anders could handle himself and I liked how feisty he was - he definitely had a violent streak, and it was easy to see why he got along great with Sparrow. Both Anders and Luca were protective though; Anders was doing everything he could to keep his brother safe and Luca was very protective of Anders once he learnt about his situation and history.
Desperately Delicate Viper was a pretty straightforward read and a bit shorter than the previous books in this series, but I had a really great time with Anders and Luca. The beginning had me hooked and from there it was easy to stay intrigued by the characters and plot. It was a little dark and violent, but there was also plenty of steam, tender moments and humour.
- I received an advanced copy of this book, and these are my honest thoughts and opinions.
This is a hook up to more dark mafia romance, featuring Luca and Anders, and is book four in the Mafia Bound series.
Anders accidentally robs a mafia heir, only to have Luca Moretti turn out to be both obsessed with him and strangely submissive. What starts as a dangerous mistake quickly becomes something harder to walk away from, especially when Luca makes him feel stronger than he ever thought possible.
I’m so glad I waited for the audio. Loved it! Luca and Anders dynamic was addictive: sharp banter, plenty of tension, and a really unique power play that makes their chemistry pop. I loved how Luca sees Anders as this strong, unstoppable “viper,” even when Anders doesn’t believe it himself. It’s equal parts dangerous, sweet, and a little wild - perfect romance with crime, chaos, and a twist of devotion.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 4 in series MM dark mafia romance Mafia heir x thief Size difference Cat and mouse vibes Dom/sub vibes Obsessive & possessive Light stalking Spicy times & dirty talk Paid hook up Dom/sub vibes Rough s*x Biting & marking Spanking & Gag Restraints & blindfold Degradation Edging Nip clamps & c*ck ring Hurt / Comfort POS dad Found family HEA
Desperately Delicate Viper is the fourth book in K.M. Neuhold’s Mafia Bound series. The books all feature members of the Moretti crime family, but they each stand alone fine and I think you could jump in here. If you have enjoyed other books in the series, I think this one is going to once again be a hit for you, as it has a similar vibe in the very best ways. I like how these stories give a bit of a play on power dynamics, as we have these murderous mafiosos who terrify everyone, but who turn into “murder marshmallows” around the men they love (who are all plenty fierce in their own right). This story has a slight shift on the Moretti side, in that Luca is a soldier rather than commander like the leads in the other books. I thought it was interesting to see the family from his slightly different perspective.
The conflicts here are two-fold, though the first resolves fairly early.
Another fantastic addition to the Mafia Bound Series! This is book 4 and tackles a lesser known Moretti, Luca, and the fiery, twinky, top that drives him wild.
So much fun! Seriously, these two had some intense chemistry from the beginning. I’m usually not a huge fan of twink tops but it SOOOO friggin worked here because Luca was the goodest boy for his little viper.
Loved seeing most of the guys again, especially Sparrow. Need such a fun character!
The found family trope is still heavy in book four and I’m here for it! I’m a sucker for a good interconnected series and this one has been SO GOOD. And I can’t wait for the next one!
{I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book. All reviews are my own. Any quotes used are subject to change before release!}
Luca Moretti is one of the grunts for his family, and that's fine with him he doesn't seek the power that the rest of his family has. one night at Wonderland, he comes upon Anders and knows he needs this little twink to own him no matter what. Anders hasn't been able to make his own choices for a long time. Soon, his brother will graduate, and he will be free from the reign of his father. What starts with the perfect night of submission changes both men's lives forever. What could be a power imbalance towards one ends up being the complete opposite in the bedroom in the best way possible. The heat of these two is on another level. The complete submission is magic. Their love language is right on the morally grey life of the Moretti family. I love this darker side of KMs writing, where it still feels as her style of writing is just darker. Mix in the epicness that is the friendship between Sparrow and Anders, and you are in for a treat.
Stupendous story, great writing and loveable characters that feel grounded and relatable - i didn't know i was in need of a toppy twink and his subby mafioso but here we are! Great depth to the characters, more so for Anders than Luca but it didnt feel unfair at all. I love seeing these two happy together 💜💜💜💜
"I think there’s fire in you, and I didn’t pay to blow it out, I paid so you’d let me stand close enough to get burned.”
This is book 4 in the series Mafia Bound by KM Neuhold. I love that each of the books in this series is unique and I love seeing all the characters from the prior books.
This book is about Luca, Salvatore's nephew, who helped protect Dante in the previous book and a new character Anders. Luca meets up with Anders through a transactional hook-up that takes an interesting turn.
I don't know if there are any trigger warnings but be aware that there is an abusive father and a younger brother that Anders is trying to protect.
I love this family of mafiosos. I'm fairly certain that Alessio's book is next up but I'm really excited for Lorenzo's book.
Oh my!!! Viper has some bite to him and I am here for it! I love the cinnamon roll mafioso with their men! The storyline was so good and I always enjoy seeing our other guys in the current stories. Keep it up I can’t wait to see who we read about next!
Desperately Delicate Viper is the fourth book in K.M. Neuhold's Mafia Bound series. This series can be enjoyed as standalones, but it's obviously more fun to read all the books! Here's what you can expect from Luca and Anders:
🔪 MM mafia romance 🔪 First person dual point of view 🔪 Guaranteed happily ever after 🔪 Open door spice 🔪 A submissive mafioso 🔪 Power exchange 🔪 Toppy twink 🔪 Mild pain play 🔪 Medium to low angst
Ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Note that this list of warnings may be incomplete. Please take care of yourself while reading.
This is such a fun series! I love how Neuhold has taken a classic mafia romance and put her own spin on it. Although this is a mafia romance, I don't find this series very dark and the angst in each book is quite minimal. To me, these are relatively easy reads and I enjoy them when I need a break from some heavier emotional books. They are great palate cleansers!
We met Luca in the third book of the series, Unhinged Little Angel. He's just starting out in the Moretti family business, but he still holds a lot of power and charm, and he's learning the business from his Uncle Sal (loved the Sal and Dante cameos, they were so much fun). I love how Neuhold has taken what you'd expect from these big, bad mafiosos and used it to highlight power exchanges and roles that subvert what's expected. Although it's been a theme through the series, I thought it worked especially well for Luca and Anders. They had so much chemistry, and I love that not only did their kinks complement one another's, but they were able to safely explore them together. Throw in some cathartic, well-meaning violence, and I had a great time reading this book. A bonus was the friendship between Anders and Sparrow from Deadly Little Sparrow. We didn't get much into the family's ongoing power struggle with the Irish mob, but I think we're building up to it. I also liked the addition of Anders's brother in this story, and I hope we'll get to see him in the future!
If you're not ready to go full dark mafia romance yet, or just need a fun palate cleanser that's easy to read, the Mafia Bound series would be perfect for you!
Anders has been desperate for a while, and he’s been doing anything he has to do to deal with his life. He sacrifices himself for his little brother and basically has to disassociate himself from his own life just to get through it. He is cynical, antagonistic, smart, secretive, and protective.
One night, he runs into Luca Moretti, and he has no idea how spending a night with him is going to change his life. Luca actually tapped into something that makes Anders feel empowered, but it doesn’t stop him from trying to line his own pockets. But when he figures out Luca is a foot soldier for a big crime family, he knows it’s gonna be trouble.
And Luca saw a spark in Anders, and he is just the kind of man that intrigues him...seemingly innocent with a bite. Anders is more of a twink, but he is not submissive. He can handle and challenge Luca and tear him apart. So Luca is not ready to let that go, becomes a bit stalkery and possessive, but he has his own good intentions.
These two are both dangerous in their own ways, and together they are combustible. Their outside facades give off one impression, but they are different in the bedroom, and they are quite compatible. They thrive on power exchanges and pushing each other to the edge. They have the potential to be a match made in Heaven or Hell depending on whose opinion it is.
But I loved seeing Anders find someone who actually sees him, has his back, and supports him since he has been trying to manage everything on his own by any means necessary. I have enjoyed that in this series that there is a found family element even if it is a mafia family, but all the guys coming in as partners fit in very well and can handle the unconventional mafia life. In these stories there is trust and safety found with this family despite their dangerous lifestyles.
4.25 stars - I am always up for a new installment of as the mafia turns with this crew. Luca is one of the lower Morettis, so while he is part of the family, he is more of a soldier than one of the inner circle. He reports to Uncle Sal. He is similar to the other Morettis in that he is a bad ass mafia guy in public who longs to have someone trustworthy to submit to in private. Which is a bit ironic when that person turns out to be someone who stole from him.
Anders is someone with a number of his own issues. They all primarily revolve around his father. To keep his younger brother safe, Anders is basically pimped out by his father. To keep his brother off his father’s radar, Anders continues to pay his father by pimping himself out. He didn’t realize who Luca was when he accepted Luca’s advances and made a deal only to then steal and run from him at the end of their session. Luca was smitten from the start though and was determined to woo Anders, despite the theft.
The Morettis all have this undeniable calm and collectedness about them as though very little rattles them. When it comes to business, they are solid, respected and feared. But, they all seem to need to give up that control behind the scenes, and Luca is no different. Once he determined Anders was the one for him, it was gloves off.
While I loved these two together, I was a bit disappointed that the actual story didn’t advance much. You could probably get away reading this as a stand alone, which, on the flip side, wouldn’t make too much of a difference to the overall story if you missed reading it. However, you will have a better understanding of who the other family members and their partners are by reading this whole series and their stories are all worthwhile. There seems to be so much lined up and going on with the original storyline, and I am still looking for more action in that regard. What is happening with the Irish? Will Enzo have to deal with Declan at some point? I don’t recall seeing any hints as to what may be next, but I will be ready to jump back in as soon as it’s there.
Mafia Bound is a series from K.M. Neuhold that focuses on the Moretti crime family and the romantic relationships and partners each Moretti man finds himself in. It’s usually been with a murderous sociopathic twink of a traumatic background. My favorite couple being Sal and dancer Dante (3) , followed by unhinged Sparrow and the family enforcer, Xaviaro (1).
The energy, chemistry and sheer insanity that powers these relationships made the storylines and those couples. Each had layers and a certain depth of character that allowed for a realistic development of the relationship between them.
And that’s really the issue here. While we’ve met Luca, the youngest of the Moretti family prior, we’ve not gotten to know him well. He’s a puppy, as Dante calls him. Against all the others? He’s definitely not the same factor of darkness or seriousness of damage. He’s too young in his current form.
And the other main character is also not supported by any foundation or framework of storytelling. Anders is a good character but everything we learn about him comes from a “as told to” approach. We don’t see any interactions between the father he’s terrified of or honestly, of the brother he’s been protecting. It’s a diminishing aspect of the character’s storyline.
The positives, seeing Dante and Sal (#couplegoals ) and Sparrow as well as Xav, was fantastic. The energy and intensity they bring to this narrative made it feel so much better. And the dialogue and dynamics between them as Luca was hilarious.
Anders and Luca’s instant love romance could have been better if they had more time to establish themselves as a couple. Instead they come off a new, younger version, without the intense energy or interest.
This is the 4th book but I believe there’s more coming. I’m definitely going to be reading those.
A terrific series with D/s elements, crime family romances, and lots of sexy men.

Here's "Desperately Delicate Viper" by K.M. Neudhol. It's the the fourth novel in her Mafia Bound series.
["That Feeling when the man you just robbed and left tied up and blindfolded turns out to be in the mafia…

These mafia men are soooo fucking soft for their partners. It's adorable and hilarious and perfect. I'm obsessed (so far they). And Luca is obsessed with Anders. He was in love after one evening, even if it ended how it ended.
He wanted to own him, but in a way that would set Anders free. He wanted Anders to be happy and confident, but free of his traumas and burdens.
Also, watching Sal (and Dante--and the other family) laugh at Luca while he figured out his HEA? Priceless.
These characters are just so complex and caring and complicated and wow.... I want more. I always want more.
Trigger Warnings: Theft, ehhh use of kink, violence, blackmail, threats, abusive parents, drugs, attempted assault, and more.
I hate giving bad reviews, but... this one was not great. I regret buying the audiobook. It's nice that many others have enjoyed the book, but I myself don't see its appeal. I’m actually genuinely surprised that the book has such good reviews.
Luka is supposed to be a mafioso, but I don’t get the vibe that he actually would be a part of mafia family. And I don't mean the fact that he wants to submit to Anders—I liked that aspect—but his character is really weak compared to what he should be.
The premise of the plot was also a bit off: Anders' father forces him to sell sex so that he can pay large sums of money to his father every week—and yet he still lives with his father. And his brother has no idea about their father or of anything else that is going on. His brother was 24 years old (if I remember correctly? Well, adult at least) and he could not just tell him the truth? What does he even think Anders does for a living? I also can't really see a situation where Anders and Luka would fall in love with each other, and even though it was interesting that Luka wanted to be the submissive one, the dominant role didn't suit Anders. The pieces of the story just didn't fall into place.
The book clearly focused on their intimate relationship (which is how it began), but the spicy scenes were a disappointment. Also the book seemed to be all about ”pre c*m” and ”stiff c*cks” 🥴 those were repeated too many times. I just didn’t vibe with this at all. The green/red light scene however gets and extra ⭐️, that was hot. But yeah, overall not for me and won’t be reading other books from this series.
1st person, present tense, dual PoV Luca Moretti, mafioso Anders (28), sex worker
I quite enjoyed this story, though it was a little different from what I expected based on the synopsis. It's totally on me, and not really a spoiler, but I thought the dad's debt was along the lines of medical bills or something, but he's an absolute POS, which I suppose I should have expected from a darker mafia romance.
I haven't read any of the previous books of the series but this stands alone well, though when all the MCs of the previous books show up about halfway through it got a little chaotic for a minute as I tried to figure out who everyone else is.
There are some plot holes and moments when characters don't act in their own best interests, and unnecessary plot detours to showcase MCs from other books in the series at the expense of telling *this* story, but I was able to overlook it in favour of enjoying a bit of unhinged fun.
I dunno, I just loved the meet-cute so much that it really made the book for me. You can't get much better than accidently-on-purpose rolling a mafioso (ooops!) and unintentionally enthralling him. Luca's obsession was delicious! and I adored how he saw beneath the surface of Anders professional persona.
I don't usually include quotes in my reviews, but this line alone just tickled my funny bone and it will live rent-free in my head for a while: “I tied you up and robbed you, and you’ve gone and imprinted on me like a psychotic goose or something.
I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to the Mafia Bound Series. I’ve been a fan of KM Neuhold’s work for a few years now. Luca Moretti, is the nephew of one of the capos, Salvatore Moretti of the Moretti Crime Family. Man, my heart hurt for everything Anders has been through, what his father forced him into to protect his younger brother Finn from the same fate. Their father definitely got what he deserved. Anders & Luca’s meet cute was definitely interesting and Luca was totally hooked, even though his little viper left him tied up and robbed him before leaving. He of course had to track his little viper down.
I loved that the more time they spend together the more Anders gets back to his true shelf, the one that was suppressed after everything that was taken from him. Luca definitely loves when Anders gets his claws out. I loved these two together and thought their chemistry was completely off the charts, as well as hot as hell. Anders & Sparrow are definitely unhinged besties but make an amazing team. I’m really looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues. I’m also looking forward to reading more books by KM Neuhold in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to others.
Still not buying that this is a mob series…lol! This one was even more ridiculous than the others, maybe as ridiculous!
May contain spoilers.
So Luca is a Moretti, but low level. He wants an audience with the boss to request if he can kill his newly found “boyfriend’s” dad. What mobsters are gonna be like let’s hold off and see if we can get him locked up instead…as if pimping out his son wasn’t justification enough. I also thought it was ridiculous that Luca was even asking….then saying to the boss, regardless I’m going to do it. Like what? Lastly, with this whole situation why was Anders dad so important that if he would have been killed that it would even register with the mob. He legit was like a drunk, gambler. I’m sure in this fictional world people get killed all the time and it wouldn’t always be sanctioned by the mob. Maybe the mob like movies I’ve watched are just different…
That whole thing really annoyed me, along with Anders charging $1000, but picking up from a regular bar. It just wasn’t all making sense.
Lastly, did they start dropping the “L” word after a week. I just couldn’t with this one.
This series is mediocre at best, but I’m a glutton for punishment because I’m still gonna keep reading it.
I am loving K.M. Neuhold’s journey from her usually sunny/funny romances into her comedic darkside with her Mafia Bound Series. Desperately Delicate Viper brings us the story of Luca, who we met in the previous book and is a more minor member of the Moretti family. When he has one of the most interesting Meet/Cutes with Anders he falls head over heels instantly and will do anything to get Anders out of the horrible situation he has found himself in. Anders is doing his best in life to protect his brother, at his own severe detriment and finds it very difficult to trust Luca, even though his instincts tell him he can. With a little help from Luca’s family Anders is able to get the HEA that he deserves. As usual I always enjoy K.M. Neuholds storytelling talents. Also, Dominant “size challenged” partners is one of my favorite tropes. The Author writes characters that make you smile, even when you may be cringing a little with their actions. Felons with a Heart of Gold was never written better! Can’t wait for the next story in the Moretti Family’s search for Love.
Fourth in series (Mafia Bound), better if read in order. Light BDSM. Quick read. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.
Forced to prostitute himself, Anders doesn’t realize his latest trick is part of the local Moretti mafia family until he has robbed Luca and run away. There’s some sort of special connection between him and Anders, and Luca will happily stay under Ander’s rough heel as he refuses to let the man with hidden dangerous depths go.
This story ramps up quickly with high heat and a meant-to-be dynamic between Anders and Luca that neither man has experienced before. There’s a little bit of background for Anders, although I did wish for more about his close relationship with his brother, and I certainly wished we got more about Luca as he seemed to have a depth of character that would have been fun to see more about. However, every moment Anders and Luca are on page together were super engaging as Anders holds his own against a mafia tough guy (secretly a cinnamon roll) and all the steamy scenes that KM Neuhold is known for are definitely there. 4.25
