I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

The Everything Easy High-Protein Low-Carb Cookbook is a cookbook with recipes to help the user lose weight, build up muscle, and reduce inflammation within their bodies through high-protein and low-carb meals. The book is easy to use and follow and is separated into chapters:
1. The high-protein low-carb living & info.
2. Breakfast and brunch recipes.
3. Appetisers and dips.
4. Poultry.
5. Beef, pork, and lamb.
6. Fish and seafood.
7. Vegetarian meals and sides.
8. Soups, stews and chilli's.
9. Salads, dressings, sauces, salsas.
10. Snacks and desserts.
followed by a weekly meal plan and index. The weekly meal plan can be tweaked to fit your own tastes and needs and is a great resource if you want to follow this type of plan/diet.
The recipes are straightforward to use. The only thing that let the book down for me was there not being many photographs of the dishes within the book as I do like to see what it looks like and how it should turn out.

As someone with PCOS, I'm always looking for meals that prioritize a high-protein and low-carb menu, especially ones that don't demonize carbohydrates, but emphasize healthy ways to pair them for the best glycemic balance. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the breadth of recipes here, but also that a decent array of spices and seasonings were included.

There are recipes for every meal type, with a massive arrangement of proteins from fish to pork to dairy, and everything in between. This is the perfect book to shake up the drudgery of consistently trying to bring unique protein options into your weekly meal planning. I only wish more photos were included, as it often helps me have a better idea of what the final product looks like.

Otherwise this was a great addition to my shelf, and I'm looking forward to making more meals from it.

A wide variety of recipes are included. The pictures are appetizing and I love that nutritional information is provided on each recipe. I look forward to making many of these recipes.

Thanks so much to NetGalley for the free Kindle book. My review is voluntarily given, and my opinions are my own.

Not only are there so many omazing recipes included in this cookbook, but it is perfect for those who think it is important to count calories. Every recipe has a box that tells you the calorie count, fat content, sodium, carbohydrates, fiber, sugar, and protein per serving. I know that is very important to tons of people.

There are tons of new recipes that I can't wait to try, like the Philly cheesesteak bowls and the cheesy broccoli soup (still looking for the perfect recipe for that). The photographs are amazing. I would definitely recommend this cookbook!

Netgalley ARC-This was a good collection as I have a hard time adding protein to my diet. The only negatives I have are the lack of photos for some of the recipes and the lack of labels on the ones they did have. Also with all the space on the page, why aren't all the components together rather than in different chapters? I don't want to make a dish from chapter two and need to switch to chapter nine for the sauce. Otherwise solid.

This is a great cookbook to give lots of ideas on where to begin with a low carb and/or high(er) protein diet. The book begins with an overview of macronutrients and why going high-protein and low-carb can be beneficial. I like that it is clear and simple without being "preachy." Overall the book is laid out well, beginning with breakfast and brunch recipes, then appetizers and dips, chicken/poultry, beef, pork and lamb, fish and seafood, vegetarian mains, soups, stews and chilis, salads and dressings and sauces, and finally dessert.

The recipes are straighforward with no complex directions and mostly easy to find and use ingredients. There are basic blurbs about the recipes and a little background information with ingredients clearly laid out. There are basic macros which is helpful for those who are planning the dishes to adhere to certain amounts of carbs and protein. The steps of the recipes are easy to follow, and the few I have made have turned out well. I think this is a great recipe book for people who want to try this type of lifestyle change and to have simple recipes to draw from. There are lots of jumping off points and ideas.

The recipes are short and easy to understand. There are nice photos of some of the recipes as well, which I always appreiciate and honestly could use even more of, if I'm being picky. But overall I think this is a great resource and recipe book that even includes weekly meal plans that are drawn from the recipes in the book. It's a simple, straighforward and appealing cookbook overall with recipes that people will actually want to make and enjoy.

I received an eARC of this cookbook from NetGalley and the Publisher in exchange for my honest review. All opinions in this review are my own.

The Everything Easy High-Protein, Low-Carb Cookbook: 200 Satisfying Recipes to Lose Weight, Build Muscle, and Live a Healthy Lifestyle by Michelle Fagone is a true feast for the eyes, packed with delicious, protein-rich, low-carb recipes. The book not only delivers practical meal ideas but also highlights the benefits of adopting this approach as a long-term lifestyle.

As someone entering my 50s and focusing on increasing protein intake, I found this book especially valuable. It can be challenging to discover meals that are both satisfying and nutrient-dense, but this collection makes it easy. From energizing breakfasts to flavorful dinners—and even a few indulgent desserts—the variety is impressive. I also appreciated the bonus weekly menu plan, which is perfect for anyone needing a jump-start.

This cookbook is an excellent resource for anyone feeling stuck in a food rut or looking for inspiration to create mouthwatering, balanced meals. Highly recommended for anyone beginning—or continuing—their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.

Thank you to Michelle Fagone, Adams Media, and NetGalley for the ARC.

I appreciate this book highlighted the need for balanced food consumption not fad diets. The author explained what macronutrients are and why they are important and how to understand food labels. As someone who has lost 175 and uses a high protein/low carb diet to maintain that weight loss I loved this book. The recipes were flavorful, well balanced and included fiber which is the key to a high protein diet I my opinion. This is a great book for anyone looking to find some easy recipes to work into their weekly rotation. The only thing I wish this book would have included was a list of common pantry ingredients that are used repeatedly in this book because I feel like getting those basics before you start a diet like this can make it so much easier to start.

If you are looking to eat healthier and increase protien, the recipes featured in this cookbook are great. I also appreciate that there are substitution options listed. As more of a "healthy eating" cookbook, it is also great to see nutrition information listed.

I absolutely judge a cookbook on the easily approachable recipes, reasonable ingredient lists, step by step directions and photos accompaning every recipe featured. This cookbook hits all the marks EXCEPT photos. There is minimal photography in this cookbook which is unfortunate. The photos are that are in the book also aren't labeled.

In the end, this one would just be OK, and I would likely select a different Protien heavy cookbook that features solid photography AND recipes.

The Everything Easy High-Protein Low-Carb Cookbook is very easy to use and follow, has a well-balanced variety of foods and proteins, and is great for people with PCOS. I loved the
weekly meal plan at the end!
My only dislikes about the book are that…
1. The breakfast section is too egg-heavy – a big negative for someone who can’t stand the texture of egg.
2. Too few pictures.
As someone living with and often struggling with PCOS, I want meals that are high-protein and low-carb, but that don’t exclude ALL carbohydrates, such as potatoes and carrots. The recipes in this book include some carbs but present them in healthier ways so that they have the best glycemic balance.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy.

Review of advance copy received from Netgalley

I received a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media | Everything for the opportunity to read and review this book.

It's a nice cookbook, especially great if you count calories and macros and very good for PCOS (I should know). It's easy to read and find what you need. The recipes are simple and varied, however there's nothing that makes them shine. These recipes one could find on pinterest and this cookbook only feels like an aggregator of recipes rather than a cookbook. There aren't many photos, which is a shame in this day and age.

It's a good cookbook, if you don't have the Internet.

This cookbook is great for anyone looking to make a switch to a higher protein diet. I loved it for two reasons. First, it is full of educational passages on the how/whys/benefits of adding in higher protein meals. Second, the recipes are simple and easy to follow. They don't include hard to find ingredients and offer tasty swaps to well loved favorites. I will definitely be adding many of these to my rotation!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

These are definitely easy recipes and I appreciate the nutritional information for each recipe. Like many of these cookbooks, there are very few photos though. The recipes are high protein and lower carb but aren’t necessarily keto if that’s what you need. The ingredients are simple and easy to find but are sometimes ultraprocessed foods like pork rinds (a very common ingredient here) and sugar free pudding mix.

I read a digital loan of this book for review.

I’ve been eating high-protein low-carb for the last two years and I’m always looking for some new recipes and ideas for food. This book was a great addition to the resources I use. I found quite a few recipes that fit within my macros, even if I had to adjust some slightly. Luckily, I’m able to alter recipes easily so these are a good fit for me.

The cookbook has easy-to-follow ingredients and I enjoy finding new, healthy recipes for my menu planning. The pictures that are included are great, but I do prefer every recipe to have a picture, even a small one. The cookbook also explains the concept of high-protein and low-carb eating and offers menu ideas for daily eating.
