Book Three of the Our Madness Series

Jennifer thought time would heal everything. But the heart doesn’t forget… and neither does guilt.

Torn between two loves—one rooted in loyalty, the other in obsession, both with passion—she finds herself unraveling beneath the weight of a decision she never wanted to make. The past clings to her like a shadow, even as she tries to protect what little stability remains in her present.

The longer she delays the truth, the more everything begins to fracture around her.

Some choices don't come without destruction.
And some love stories were always meant to end in ruin.

Man. I did not know that I could like a series so much. First of all the sexual tension is thru the charts, if you want somethinkg with slowburn with payoffs here and there, but angst and tension throughout the entire book, this book is your goto. If you want a man that loves his woman and will do everything for her an he comes off as really strong but sexy then this book is your go-to.

Every other book I've tried to get like this usually has mafia or something else like that attached to it and it gets boring because it's oversaturated with the same type of males and females. The concept attached to this kind of story is what makes it unique for me personally, bcause I haven't seen any other book like this.
I gotto say the dialogue also feels a1. When I'm reading it, it feels like real people are talking and I can almost see it in my head then arguing and the descriptions of what they're doing is actually spot on.

Nothing feels repetitive and the drama doesn't feel forced and fake. So 5 out of 5 stars for that.

Some of the characters are annoying asf, but I guess they have to be, or there wouldn't be a drama.

BUT BABYYY that cliffhanger!!! Damn! I am so glad that the next book was already out, because I would have been so angry if I had to wait. I don't even want to spoil it here, even though the review is kind of a spoiler but damn.

I bit the bullet and read it: Snakes in the grass

Two snakes in the grass. It's already bad enough with incest lust love mess they got going on, but to drag other people in your cesspool is just evil. Especially his little boy being caught up in it by innocently witnessing the debauchery. Now when it was just Jen and hunter I could deal with it. But innocent people being hurt behind it is just trifling. I feel soo bad for Joey he was just inlove with the wrong person. Stephanie is annoying, but she is a great friend for Joey. Im hopping they will be together. Jen and Hunter belong together, it's not love it's a sick codependent lust induced narcissist relationship.
