The third (and newest) book in the Weston Ranch series swept me off my boots! I adored the way the author built the forced proximity trope. Rather than leaving it at “snowed in” an unlikely mishap and two people in the wrong (right!) place at the same time created a unique twist on this romance trope. The story had so many interesting layers to it and it felt like coming home to be reunited with the full cast of characters from the previous books in the series.

Another wonderful read in the Weston Ranch series!!
In this installment we follow Vanessa, Jason's ex who you might remember from the previous books in the series, and Matt, Jason's newly found half-brother. With a wedding on the ranch, a terrible snowstorm stranding everyone, and a head injury, the book begins with a bang. Then we follow nurse Vanessa as she slowly gets to know Matt, who is dealing with a concussion.
Great tropes (snowed in, found family) and a sort of slow burn...not slow in terms of the time they are together (it's only a few days) but slow in terms of at what percentage they start smooching, lol.
Can't wait for the next one!

I had the pleasure of reading this book before publication and was excited to head back to Weston Ranch to revisit familiar characters! This story features Jason's ex Vanessa and his brother Matt, and they're all stuck on the ranch during a blizzard! (They are there for Taylor and Kellie's wedding) When Matt gets injured, lucky for him that nurse Vanessa can take care of him! So they share a cabin and get to know each other. It's a good mix of a slow burn with a fast-paced timeline. I loved getting to know Matt, and I was happy to see Vanessa get her happily ever after.
Love, love, love this series! I'm looking forward to the next book!
