So . . . nothing suspicious about any of that. Right?
Avoid Angry Alligators is a book that feels like it forgot what it is meant to be and also as if the author is a teacher or some sort who got the inspiration for said book by looking at an assignment while thinking I could make this into a book.
The text starts off and appears in batches as alphabetically organized such as A-D but then it skips to G. Unlike K where a non-alphabetical letter starts off the thought, the letters are fully gone. Furthermore each page has two thoughts composed into a rhyme that doesn't flow into the next thought.
And instead of keeping with the cartoonish alligators as are on the cover, the reader is subjected to pages with the same background components and varying hand-drawn figures in crayon that are just over the scribbles of a child.
But my biggest complaint is you are going to use the spiritual gifts of the New Testament but then ignore God and subscribe the reader to today's decree of "kindness", "temporary joys" and "self-love" to get ahead.
Avoid the Angry Alligator is a delightful and imaginative read that instantly grabs a child’s attention while teaching an important lesson about caution and curiosity.
