Brent Parthet is a man with nothing left to lose...which makes him dangerous.
The conspiracy between shadowy intelligence agencies and their corporate masters stole his life, his family, his very identity. He's already killed Colonel Janus, the one who carried out the orders, but that leaves the men who gave them, the same ones who started the war that killed billions of innocent people.
For the Archangels, vengeance has only begun.

The characters have developed nicely. What turns me off to a story is when the characters change from who they were in the beginning. It’s ok for them to grow but not completely erase who they really are. This story has kept the characters true. I have grown to like them more as the story moves along b.
I am devouring this series! Some space operas get tiresome after a while but this one still has legs. Maybe it’s not quite “The Moon is Harsh Mistress “, but it’s up there.
So I’ll be honest: I’m buying the next book too. I’m putting my money where my mouth is.
This was a good fit to the series there was plenty of action and a lot of close to death calls for the team of misfits as I call them but they fit together well and fight together well. There was a lot of surprises in this book and a lot of bad guy damage .
