Bex could never imagine that her dream will come true. Being part of a rock band! She is so happy that she has four best friends and that she gets to travel the world with them. As they record their second album, Bex is having a hard time on her relationship with Blake. She thought he was the one, but everyone around her tells her that he is not. When she found out that he was cheating on her, she realizes that everyone was right.

Having a little break from touring and relationships, Bex goes home to her childhood town. Everything seems perfect, until she meets her first love, Aiden.

Aiden broke up with Bex right before they went to college. He had a very good reason to do so, he wanted to protect her. But did he choose the right decision? After ten years she is here. Bex is in town and he can't refuse his feelings towards her. But can they be together after the past they shared? The secrets between them are huge to ignore, but will they rise above the challenges that life has planned for them or their relationship will stay in the past?

I love these series so far! This is the second book, about Bex. I have to say that Aiden is such a good character, his loyalty, kindness and simply his meaningful gestures melted my heart. I liked this book a little bit more than the first one because of it's backstory.

One of the reasons I love these series is because the author breaks the stereotype of the image of rock bands. The members are women and I am all for it. Each character is unique and interesting, I enjoyed reading about their lifes and adventures.

Fun, interesting and emotional story that I really enjoyed reading. I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next parts.

After reading Jade, I felt like this book would be another rockstar bodyguard romance and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t. Bex is the second chance romance between Bex and her high school sweetheart, Aiden Whittaker. This book is considered a standalone and can be read without reading the previous book in the series, but I highly recommend that you do.

Bex aka Elizabeth Teter is the lead singer of the band, Lovely Oblivion. She is known for her signature mohawk, punk rock vibes and lyrics, and her fiddle. Little did she know that she has spent the last 10 years pining the loss of her one love. While attending her high school 10 year reunion, she secretly hopes to run into Aiden and see if they can try and rekindle their romance. Their reunion isn’t ideal and it’s one for the books. Their reunion seems to be like a step down memory lane and a time to explain what has happened since Bex left. The secret that Aiden has been keeping is so heartbreaking and I love what comes out of it.

I don’t want to give anything away so do yourself a favor and one click this book. I love how the band is all women and all they want to do is rock out doing what they love and enjoy their lives.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series and to see what the band is up to next. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Bex is the lead singer and just got her reminder that it has been 10 yrs since her h.s. graduation and all she thought about is if her ex bf would be there. The night of her reunion she planned to stay in town but she got so drunk that her best friend decided to play a little matchmaker when ordering her Uber. Aiden was shocked with he was taking home but once she got sober the "frienship" talk was overdue and the time to get answers was now! This series ois fantastic

Bex is the lead singer of Lovely Oblivion, Aiden is her high school love and at a high school reunion they get the opportunity to have a second chance at happiness. I love Bex, she’s one feisty babe. Aiden is a sweetie with a secret. I also love that we get to catch up with Jade from book one as well.
This is a great continuation (although can be read as a stand-alone). I will be waiting to read the next book in this series.

A fabulous book that was tear-jerking, sweet and funny. Bex and Aiden were so beautiful together with wonderful chemistry. This second book in the series was a real joy to read.

Such a feel good romance. I loved the sweet yet steamy scenes, and I was rooting for Bex and Aiden from the start. This was a very easy read and I finished it in a day. Personally I like a little more drama and grit, but this one is for the hopeless romantics out there!

Aiden and Bex lost and found Love

The beginning was bittersweet where you know in your heart that you just lost the love of your life. But true soulmates seems to make it back to each other. You have to read the story to find out why they broke up in the first place. Somewhat selfish and selfless all rolled in to one. I know you will enjoy the journey they take together.

I loved this sweet with heat love story between Bex and Aidan. They were high school sweethearts until Aiden did the only thing he could think of to protect Bex from a secret he didn't want to share, he left her and broke her heart. Bex was devastated but forced herself to move on, going to college and eventually becoming a member of an all girls rock band called Lovely Oblivion.

When Bex received an invitation to her 10 year high school reunion she wasn't sure if she wanted to go, she was still in love with Aidan and she didn't think she could face him again; supposing he was married with kids!? But Bex went to the reunion and found out that Aidan wasn't married with kids but he didn't turn up either so Bex got very drunk! Erica, her high school bestie decided to call an uber for Bex and very sneakily requested the driver who was the one person that Bex didn't want to be a hot mess in front of...Aidan! The story continues on with Aidan explaining to Bex the reason he left her. They had a wonderful HEA which warmed my heart! I recommend this book and the author.

This is the second in the Lovely Oblivion series. I love that the rockstars in this series are woman, and not men. I also love that the women are sexually empowered. I also like that the previous characters of Jade and Ryker were included in a natural way and stayed true to their characterizations from the previous book.

The secret that Aiden is keeping was heart breaking, and I am glad the author handled it the way she did. The way he and Bex handle it was really well written. And once the secret was out, their communication was amazing. I love that the characters TRUSTED one another and were clear with what they wanted.

Looking forward to the books on the other band members!

3 1/2 stars Second book in the series. Bex's story and second chance romance. Bex reconnects with her high school boyfriend and finally finds out why he broke up with her. Most romance stories will have sex scenes, but I felt like it took over the story and scenes were thrown in to fill the pages. Easy read with all the steam for Bex and Aiden, they were so easy to fall for and root for. I would’ve loved to get more of their history/background but enjoyed overall!
