The members of the popular rock band, Lovely Oblivion, decide to get matching tattoos. They all agree except Maggie who is afraid because it's her first tattoo, but somehow they convince her. Maggie lets them get the tattoo first, so she can prepare. Her fears seemed like a joke when she meets the tattoo artist, Wylder. He is so kind, caring and patient with her. And that is not because it is his job, but because of the sparkle of attraction between them. At that moment they felt like they were the only people on the planet. Until his girlfriend called him and the magical moment was ruined.
Years later, Maggie and Wylder meet again. What it seems like a beginning of a friendship will grow into something more with time. But they live completely different lives. She is always on the road while he is connected with his place and family. Will they manage to stay friends or will their hearts desire something more?
Amazing story about another member of the band. This short novella will make you laugh and feel the power of love. The power of the destiny that has its own ways of connecting the right people.
Beautifully imagined and put into words story that I really enjoyed reading. This is the fourth book in the series and I am in love so far! The author's style is amazing, I love all the characters so far and all their stories.
You can feel the presence of each character throughout the whole series and like I said in my previous reviews each one of them gives message to the reader. I love how it's shown in a funny and interesting way and yet will touch so many readers' hearts.
Lovely Oblivion: Maggie is the fourth book in the Lovely Oblivion series and the fake relationship/friends to lover romance between Maggie Simmons and Wylder Gallagher. Neither one is looking for romance, but as their friendship evolves so do their feelings. When an opportunity presents itself, the two pretend to be a couple. When they realize that they have been pushing their feelings towards each other aside, they decide to give into their desires and decide to let their feelings come through. But will the past interfere with the present? Find out in this easy and fun read about a rockstar in a female rock band and a tattoo artist.
Maggie and Wylder’s relationship is complicated as you can only imagine with a touring rockstar. But somehow they are able to keep up with their friendship and becoming important people in each other’s lives. They definitely complement each other and it was definitely was kismet that these two met. I loved how they became fast and easy friends and their relationship seemed to be easy and they just knew what the each other needed. Wylder was guarded, romantic, and I love how close he was with his family. Maggie was surprisingly easy going and I suppose she should be with being friends with Jade. lol. I kinda of assumed she would have been more uptight since that is how it seemed in the other books. I loved how protective Maggie was during a particular scene in this book- we always protect the ones we care about.
Was I wanting a little bit more in this book? I was and I’m not exactly sure what I wanted. I just felt like there could have been a little more. I would have loved to see how Kelsey showed off Maggie or a showdown with Freida. I would have loved to see that in person. I believe it was in Polly’s book where Maggie went home on a break to New York for a friend’s art exhibit or something. I kinda hoped that was going to be in this book, but it wasn’t, but no biggie.
Despite what I thought should be in this book, this book was good and definitely kept my interest to where I read the book in one sitting. I can’t wait to read Lyra’s book and see how the series comes to an end. Can’t believe it’s almost over! I recommend this series to anyone looking for a fun read about a female rock band and the men that fall for these beauties.
Maggie is drawn to Wylder from the moment they meet, but she finds out that he's taken. Wylder, meanwhile, discovers that his girlfriends has made life-changing decisions without bothering to consult him. They break up but before he can contact Maggie, fate interrupts. Years later, Wylder and Maggie meet once more. But alas, things are never simple... An engaging, well-written tale with themes of love, kindness and the hard-knock decisions that come with 'happily-ever-after.'
This is book four in a series about a female band and this is Maggie's love story. She meets a man who she is attracted to only to find he is taken, fate happens to intervene years later. After some circumstances that cause some heartache, they are able to work through those issues and get the happily ever after that they are looking for.
I did enjoy the book as it is the first one that I have read from this author and the first I have read about a musician.

Lovely Oblivion: Maggie, book four by A. D. Craig, is about Maggie, a keyboard player for a hot new all-girl rock band, and a chance encounter with Flynn, a tattoo artist who gave all the band members their matching band logo tats. Due to their lives going in separate ways for a few years, they don’t meet again until they both attend a wedding as guests. This second encounter begins a journey of friendship that becomes more. Both are carrying baggage and have lots of issues to work out. This story is a beautiful continuation of the Lovely Oblivion five-book series. Lovely Oblivion Maggie is a fun read. It is full of sparks that flare into heat. It has no cheating and a guaranteed HEA. A.D. Craig knows how to bring on the rock star romance!
This book spans over a period of time. It's an easy read with a little angst and no real drama.
Maggie is the keyboard player for the group Lovely Oblivion. She goes to Wylder's for a. Tattoo. She likes him instantly, but finds that he has a girlfriend. The girlfriend 's behaviour makes him think twice about be in a relationship.
Fast forward, a few years later they reconnect at a wedding reception. They have the feeling that they have met before. They then become friends and get along very well. Wylder has his reservations about forming a relationship with her. When it comes to it, will he be able to adapt to her ifestyle? She travels a lot with her band and that could complicate matters.
I like the dynamics within his family. They are down to earth and teat others with respect. It's a quick fun read.
I received an eARC from BookSirens and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

This book in the Lovely Oblivion series is the first book I've had the pleasure to read by A.D. Craig. The story is about second chances for Wylder and Maggie with some challenging circumstances and all the feels. I loved this book and recommend it.
This was my first read from this author. I really liked the story. While I'm not the biggest fan of the third person point of view because it makes the story impersonal in my opinion, I really liked the storyline. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The book is a good, and enjoyable rock star romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This was a good book. I’ve only read the first book in the series so this book holds up as a standalone. It was fun getting to know this different band member. I did like Jade’s story more but that might have been because I really enjoyed the stalker aspect. But overall, this was an enjoyable read.
Side note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review
Easy to read friends to lovers. While this is the fourth book in the series it’s the first I’ve read but being as focused on Maggie as it is, the reading order didn’t’ matter at all. Maggie and Wylder first meet when the band decide on getting matching tattoos. It’s Maggie’s first tattoo and she’s nervous. Wylder talks her through it, and they establish a real connection. It’s another three years before they bump into each other again at a family wedding. Neither are looking for a relationship so friendship it is. Until it isn’t. This is a lovely romance that develops naturally and is a pleasure to read. It has plenty of heat and interesting plot lines to keep you turning the pages. It’s an easy read which I knocked over in one sitting. I just downloaded the first book so I can go back and catch up on the other members of the band.
Maggie, the shy one of the band, Lovely Oblivion, was nervous about getting her first tattoo. Fortunately, the tattoo artist, Wylder, made her feel nice and calm. What would it be like to have him in her life? Well, that thought was quickly dashed when she found out that he was already taken. Crud. Turns out, however, that the girl he was with was crazy. Boy, was she crazy!
Three years later, the two stumble upon each other at a wedding and the electricity was still there. Soon, they fall into an easy friendship. The narrative was nice, but, as you can see, it takes a really long time to tell the story. About halfway through it is when he makes the request for a fake celebrity girlfriend. I don’t know why that request couldn’t have come sooner. Story presents a good dilemma and the characters had good comradery, but the whole thing was much too lagging for me.
A fairly nice read but not as exciting as the other books in the series. It was just “eh.”
This short novella length book ahead a lot of potential. I loved the blurb and so immediately wanted to read it. However, a few things just really held it back from a higher rating from me. The first was the writing. I felt like I was reading something akin to fan fiction, not a published author. The dialogue was awkward—people don’t actually talk like that? Now, as I continued to read, that part did get better. The second half reads like it was written by a mature author. My next issue is the lack of detail. I felt like I was constantly told what happened but not really shown it. For me, this was book was just meh. I wanted to like it more—I liked the characters alone but together they didn’t seem to have much chemistry and the romance felt forced. I received an arc for an honest review.
As fast as I saw the rockstar romance and tattoo artist character I was so into this book! Honestly, I think it was TOO damn short. I really really wanted more of Maggie and Wylder. I think after they become friends everything was happening so fast. Maggie is a rockstar and even tho she’s famous she’s still a great person and just feels with everyone. She’d never say no to her fan and it’s so great to see an artist that had a great contact with her fans. I loved that after they met, it wasn’t like insta-love all the way. They met again after few years and didn’t even recognize each other but knew that somehow they know the other person. The romance was sweet, but not enough for my liking. I wanted more more and more sweet and adorable moments.
Soo, this is a reaally short story… And maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it that much ! Or maybe it was the third person narration ? I don't know, to be honest… It's a cute story, the characters are nice and well developed for the length of the book… But still something kept me from really getting into the story… And the sex scenes were.. a bit cringey !
Overall, I liked the story but it could've been way better, but what do I know, I'm not a writer !!
I would like to thank BookSirens and the author for giving me this ARC ! Truly honoured, but this is my honest opinion about this book.
Lovely story, I really liked these characters and the storyline kept you engaged. Loved the kismet connection and how they finally found their happy ever after. Was refreshing to read a story where one or the other wasn't acting immature or making up scenarios in their own head. Their problem was very realistic and would take some figuring out. Only down side was the male characters sometimes came across as though a female writer was writing what she'd hope a man would say rather than how they actually speak. Just meant my engagement with the book slipped every now and then, but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book in the Lovely Oblivion series is about Wylder. He and Maggie met years ago but the timing was all wrong. They are brought back together and their fake relationship will rekindle all of those old feelings. Making it work this time is going to take some tough decisions. I enjoyed their story and thought it was well written.
