Thire-los: Demon or Angel

Rate this book
In a galaxy where telepathic bonds and ancient dreams shape destinies, the Mejuar, beings created by the god Thire-Los, navigate a complex world of gods, creatures, and humans. Captain Jonus, a Mejuarian pilot, is gravely injured in a meteor accident. His wounds are tended by a Mejuarian doctor, who envelops him in a Dragonor's healing cocoon, infused with a special paste. Despite his physical pain, Jonus is tormented by guilt over the loss of the Dragonor's precious mewling nest. The intricate collaboration between Dragonors and Mejuarians holds the potential for profound healing. Jonus clings to the hope that the mewling nests are not lost, but merely misplaced. Pinky and Bracket, two extraordinary pups, exhibit remarkable abilities such as telepathic communication, advanced learning, and healing powers, while their playful antics continue to amaze. Raczis is determined to trace the meteor's path, while Syberias relies on a psychic connection to the mewlings, believing they are alive and thriving. The quest to find the mewlings and their impact on the King and the Mejuarian community remains uncertain.

As a reader, I have enjoyed numerous books throughout my life. As a writer, I aim to create engaging stories that captivate and leave readers wanting more. Now semi-retired, I can devote more time to writing and building a relationship with God. At the same time, I work on my creative journey.
Living on a lovely island in Canada with my husband, two dogs, and one cat is a beautiful and serene environment that greatly inspires my writing. Drawing from my experiences and surroundings, too, I believe, adds richness and authenticity to my stories.
Nurturing my passion for writing and exploring the realms of fiction and fantasy with dedication and creativity, I hope to continue to craft captivating stories that resonate with readers and provide them with an enjoyable reading experience.

Zola Blue writes an incredibly fantastic tale with THIRE-LOS: Demon or Angel

In THIRE-LOS Demon or Angel, the reader is brought into the lives of the Mejuarians and Dragonors, and their fate has never been this dire. Captain Jonus, a Mejuar pilot is severely injured during a flight with a meteor attack, and Mejuar mewlings are presumed dead or missing. THIRE-LOS Demon or Angel is part of The Mejuarian Series, and this is volume five. I am a huge, HUGE fan of Zola Blue and want to read whatever this author writes. This author has a grand imagination, and talent for showing the story. I love this series, and each book gets better and better. If I could give this book more than five stars, I would, and I do. I really enjoy the antics but also intelligence of Pinky and Bracket, the magnificent pups, and I believe they bring something extra to the story. Captain Jonus, even though he is physically healing, his guilt and mental health show a side of him, that is not something he wants to share. He is determined to make up for something that wasn't his fault. No one blames him but himself. This is a engrossing and captivating story and can't be put down until the end. I love how Zola Blue brings in fantasy, fate, and science fiction, with great ease, and bringing together cultures and various beings, including humans, and how they interact with each other, being allies or enemies. This story is a wondrous trail of words. Every character has a story and a purpose, and the bottom line is everyone wants the mewlings returned, birthed and safe. THIRE-LOS: Demon or Angel is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. A Soulful Space Fantasy Full of Wonder, Healing, and Hope

Zola Blue has done it again with Thire-los: Demon or Angel a rich, imaginative, and deeply emotional addition to the Mejuarian universe. This installment dives deeper into the spiritual and psychic connections between gods, creatures, and humans in a galaxy where every bond has purpose.

Captain Jonus’ inner turmoil and healing journey after a tragic meteor accident is both heart-wrenching and hopeful. The Dragonor’s cocoon and the mysterious paste speak to a magical realism that’s both ancient and futuristic. And Pinky and Bracket? Absolutely unforgettable. These extraordinary pups bring levity, love, and a spark of mysticism to every scene they’re in.

What I admire most about this book is how Zola Blue gracefully weaves complex themes loss, redemption, connection into a fast-paced yet lyrical narrative. Fans of Anne McCaffrey or Sharon Shinn will find much to love here.

If you’ve been following the Mejuarian saga, this fifth book expands the mythology in breathtaking ways. And if you’re new to the series, Thire-los is a compelling reason to dive in.

Highly recommended for fans of fantasy with soul.
