Unlike Emilie Barnes' other tea books ("If Teacups Could Talk," "The Twelve Teas of Friendship," etc.), this book doesn't contain any teatime recipes, or even any tea-theme suggestions. What it does contain is 13 short "life lessons" imparted through tea and teacups. Lessons such as "everyone brings something special to the table," "savor the beauty of a moment," and "every occasion is a celebration." There are also lovely tea quotes on nearly every page, as well as the beautiful paintings of Susan Rios.

Although not one of my favorite tea books, this little book is a lovely addition to any tea lover's library. It makes for a charming way to bring a bit of beauty into one's day.
