4.5 ⭐️. I enjoyed this enemies to lovers cuz they were actually enemies. Their families were at war constantly tryna one up eachother til one drunken night changed it all. It’s a decent pace. Omega played no games with Sage, but Sage was no punk. She was causing mayhem. Action packed with light hearted moments. I recommend.

‼️⚜️Hidden Gem that deserves READ NOW status⚜️ ‼️

➡️“You f*cked her, didn’t you? You f*cked the Poltergeist! Somebody call a Priest. I don’t know how long you got to redeem your soul.”

➡️“Having the heart of a hustler and the mind of a scholar, I had to find a way to marry the two ideas together…”

➡️“Your name is Sage, but my brother is going to have to use it when your evil a$$ leaves.”

This book is a hidden gem! I know TBR’s get heavy but this one is worth sliding to the TOP of the list as a “read now”💯.

This is my second read from this author and if this is what she is bringing to the bookish space, then we are in for a treat!🤗

⚡️Enemies to Lovers⚡️
MMC- strong, quiet, with major bde. 🍆
FMC- strong, slightly unhinged, yet loyal

Plot: well thought out and executed perfectly. NO spoilers but the third act tension, was chef’s kiss🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
Spice: spicy scenes were 🥵🥵 🌶️🌶️but appropriately placed.

MMC’s brother and FMC’s love/hate banter was hilarious. He called her a new horror movie character every time he spoke of her. 👻😂

The time lapses ⏳and epilogues this author writes… flawless! It provides the necessary details without feeling confusing or rushed.

D. Scott is definitely an author that I’m so glad I randomly ran across and decided to move from the “TBR” to the “Read Now” pile. ‼️

As of now, the catalog might be small but it is mighty. The pen game is officially stamped certified platinum 🩶on my reading block.

Baby, listen. This book? A whole vibe. I had such a good time reading it!

Omega Hendrix is not the one to play with. This man stands on business, legal and not-so-legal...and he’s been running things heavy in Florida. Now? He’s eyeing expansion… right into New Jersey.

Only problem? Jersey already got a so-called “boss” named Scar who swears he runs the whole state. But Omega? Yeah, he don’t ask for permission. Ever.

Then here comes Sage Fargo, and let me tell you, once she enters the picture, things escalate. Fast. It’s all tit for tat:

They hit Omega’s warehouse? He returns the favor.

They mess with his restaurant? He takes out a whole apartment building.

It’s giving Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but with more grit, more guns, and way more ego on both sides. And when an unexpected run-in brings Omega and Sage face to face again? Whew. It’s UP from there. The tension? The chemistry? The chaos? All on TEN.

These two are so alike, it’s funny and also dangerous.
Omega’s brother Rho had me cracking up every time he showed up with his wild, unfiltered one-liners. We love a chaotic sibling with no boundaries. 😂

Listen, I love me an unhinged MMC who handles business and an equally unhinged FMC who’s not scared to go blow-for-blow. This book gave me everything I needed and more.

✨ Do yourself a favor and read this book. You will NOT be disappointed.

D. Scott does it again. I have now read all of D. Scott’s catalog to date and I am in awe of her pen. The way she makes you fall in love with characters, you would think it’s a full length novel, but all her books are novellas, under 250 pages.

Anyway, this darling, is how you do enemies to lovers. Omega and Sage may have started as enemies, but we’re a true match made in heaven. He allowed her to be in her soft-spoiled girl era and she healed him in more ways than one. I loved Omega’s relationship with his siblings, Rho is a complete and utter fool okay, lol. Sage and Chi’s relationship blossoms into a beautiful sisterhood also. I love the friendship between Sage and Dani, and the relationship between Dani and Rho. Overall, CHEF’S FREAKING KISS!!!

D. Scott has made it to my automatic read list☺️

I loved this!

D Scott is a new to me Author. I love me a mean MMC and D Scott did not disappoint when it came to Omega. The way he stepped in this book once he made up his mind about Sage was sexy. And baby Rho was the comic relief I needed. The dynamic between the brothers was amazing but the standout connection was Omega and Kutt’s relationship. That father son bond was beautiful. This is definitely spin the block worthy for me!

!!! YES !!!

Ok! This was amazing! Loved that Omega and Sage got together on their own terms. I had some thoughts on this but it played totally different than what I expected. Rho as a side character was Top Tier comic relief. Glad Sage out on her big girl draws and got her life together and that it was worth the heartache!
Throughly enjoyed this!

♥️

D Scott…..I’m impatiently waiting on more from you! These first two books were awesome. You have a way of giving us what we want but never what’s expected. It does not fit the typical path that a lot of books take. It’s unpredictable. The characters are funny too!

Great Job 😁

This is my second novel by this author. I was looking for novels that were standalone, was very pleased that this story was told in one book - and I appreciate that. This was an enjoyable story. The plot, pacing and characters were created very well.
