Has to be one of the best books I have ever read in my life. During the reading, I was thinking that there has been a few novel about post-tsunami disaster or even movies that talk about how people live through their life after the disaster. This book is the first one that is not a documentary. It is a magical realism story. And I believe to understand and live with traumas like Tsunami, Thai society needs a story like this.
As a short-novel, it has all the elements that I can call a “good” book. The setting is there; the plot is there; the twist is there. I gasped multiple times from how everything continued on. It really was an experience to read.
