BEST SINGLE DAD + NANNY ROMANCE EVER!!!!!
Rowan Kincaid the man that you fucking are but Also Elianna THE WOMAN THAT YOU ARE!! God I am equally obsessed with each of them. This story filled me up in so many ways. It was funny, it was tender, it was flirty, it was emotional and it was spicy. It touched on so many topics and honestly I did not see the emotions it brought out of me coming.
The kids honest to God were arguably my favorite pieces of the story omg their personalities and watching Ellie fall in love with them and them her was so good!! Each of them accepted her into their lives in their own way and I loved their relationships.
Rowan. Rowan. Rowan. D A D D Y this man had me blushing bitch he was so powerful, observant, open and so sweet!!! Y’all are gonna eat this up fr fr.
God I am so incredibly proud of QB Tyler and the way she continues to grow in her writing and story telling while. At this point it’s impossible for her to write a bad book and as her bestfriend I mean it no biases here. This is an AMAZING fucking story.

I haven't read a QB Tyler in a hot minute and I truly forgot how fun they were! I gobbled this little forbidden romance up in an afternoon and I wanted more! So I think I need to binge some of her releases I have missed.
But what else can I say? It's all in the title. 😘 This is a large age gap (he's 43, and she's 25). Rowan is an overwhelmed dad of 3, who has lost his co-parent (his ex-wife died a year ago). He has help in his family but he's missing that feminine presence in his home that can help things run smoothly.
Enter Elianna, who is just coming off a long string of nannying and is ready to return to school. But she can't help but feel her heartstrings pulled by Rowan's situation. And his sexy, daddy vibes sure don't hurt either!
There isn't much angst besides the situation, so this was smooth sailing. It's definitely hot, but I also got emotional a few times. There are a few heavy issues looked at with this little family. It was worth the listen for sure!
Narrated by Stephen Dexter and Audrey Obeyn, and they had me sweating while listening at Walmart for sure. Haha!

4.5 stars! The Nanny is Off Limits is an age gap (she’s 25, he’s 43), forbidden, single dad x nanny romance! I have read everything QB writes and always have a good time with her books and this single dad x nanny one was so fun and one of my favs from her.
Rowan has 3 kids and really needs a nanny! His ex wife passed away recently and while they were no longer together at the time, it hits him and his kids hard. Elianna kind of perfectly comes into his life at the right time. She first meets one of his kids and their Uncle River who tells her how desperately Rowan needs a nanny, and the rest is history (once River confirms Elianna is over 18 and able to be a nanny 🤣)!
This was just so much fun. Rowan tries to fight the attraction because she’s working for him, the nanny of his kids, 20 years younger, etc. But she fits into their lives so well. I loved seeing her relationship with his daughters and how she also lost her mom and could connect with them. Elianna is so used to worrying about and taking care of everyone else, and I liked how Rowan wants to look after and care for her! If single dad x nanny is a trope you like, this book will really work for you!

This was short, SO HOT, and really sweet- especially the kids and their relationships!
If you hate insta-lust, yeah stay away from this book😅 This was a "right book right time" book for me for sure... pretty sure if I weren't in the mood for a book like that, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

This was enjoyable, short, and fast paced enough that I finished it in one setting. That didn’t happen in a while. It was so low on angst, no existent drama, no third act breakup, and their relationship happened so quickly. There was definitely a lot of space for more, like more depth or more development. However, it was such a quick fun read.

4.5 stars! Absolfreakinlutely LOVED this! Tasteful age gap. Interracial romance and no unnecessary third act drama nonsense. This was an adult romance that rang all the bells and whistles for me. Loved Uncle River and the kids so much too. So good! First QB book I’ve read in ages. She’s turned a corner!! For all the spice it had (and boy was it spicy), it had all the emotions to go with it and that’s what I look for in a spicy romance! Bravo!!

SO FREAKING GOOD. QB delivers another forbidden romance full of emotion, spice, and an addicting story. I seriously flew through this book and didn't want to put it down!
This is an age gap nanny romance where Rowan's ex wife dies and he's left to take care of his three kids all alone. His brother sees he's clearly struggling, and tells him he needs to hire a nanny. They end up finding Elianna, who is a 25 year old master's student. She has experience nannying and notices how much help the family needs, so she moves in and agrees to nanny the three children.
Obviously there is an instant attraction between Elianna and Rowan, and I loved how much they wanted each other, but how this was also a bit of a slow burn? Rowan has there kids and they were one of my favorite parts of the story! They all had great personalities and were so integral to the story, so of course Rowan wanted to be careful with Elianna so that he didn't hurt his children. Elianna had a great connection with each one of them and I just loved how these relationship developed in the story.
And of course we have the spice I know and love from QB and the connection between Elianna and Rowan was off the charts. I was obsessed with them together!

100% - 3.5⭐️ the steam was too much but the story was enjoyable. I liked the characters and their backstories. Full(er) review to come.
46% in - spoke to soon 🥴 the spice is a lot. But the story is good enough to keep me engaged. I think, LOL.
35% in - it’s okay so far. Better than I was expecting tbh. I really enjoy the relationships between the kids and Eliannq and the parallel between their lives and her early upbringing. It’s not super steamy yet (thank goodness) so I’m along for the ride and enjoying it.
I have always wanted to try a book by this author, if just for curiosity alone. While I am not the biggest fan of the single dad x nanny trope, the combination of tropes had me intrigued.

Rowan is a devoted dad of three trying to balance his demanding job with raising his kids after losing his wife. And Ellie, our 25-year-old nanny who’s also in school, and honestly? She’s a breath of fresh air.
The chemistry between them is instant, but what I loved was how they didn’t rush into anything. The slow burn felt real and respectful. When things finally heat up? WHEW. The spice is chef’s kiss, hot, emotional, and perfectly timed.
But what really stood out was how authentic the family dynamics felt. The co-parenting scenes were heartfelt, the kids felt like real characters (especially the older daughter’s believable hesitation about the relationship) and Ellie was so mature and professional, zero cringe, just pure competence and care.
Also can we talk about River? Rowan’s brother completely stole the show for me. I am OBSESSED and already counting down until his book!!

This book was delicious, i am a single dad trope lover and this book was so good. I loved Rowan the mmc with 3 kids. He needs help with his kids after their mom passed away and his job is demanding. The fmc Ellie is the 25 year old nanny who’s also in school and she comes into the family and is amazing of course.
The chemistry and attraction was there immediately and they didn’t act on it immediately which i loved. This book has smutty scenes and it was 🔥. I loved the co parenting and how realistic is seemed regarding kids and parenting. The way the mmc cared for the fmc and the way she was with his kids was so good.
The mmc has a brother River and i am obsessed with him. Im so excited for his book because hos personality stood out so much. I also appreciated the family dynamics and the issues the older daughter had with the relationship. Overall a good smutty read thanks to the author and pr team for this arc.

it’s a law that after you finish a high fantasy book you have to read a random ku romance…
i love q. b. tyler so much. she is pretty much the only person who could get me to read the books she writes. like i wouldn’t be picking up books with a title like this if she wasn’t the author. i enjoyed this the most out of her recent releases, it honestly could be a four star but i wanted more build up. i feel like we had a slow burn but there weren’t a ton of tension filled scenes, which are a need for me!!! ellie and rowan were cute and the bonds she had with the kids were adorable. i cannot wait for rivers book, i just know it’s going to make me question my morals….

this was so good on audio oh my god!!! i was gasping and gagging listening to it bc it was THAT hot! qb tyler's pen was ON let me tell you!
the narrators were simply incredible. stephen dexter and audrey obeyn got a standing ovation from me in my bedroom!! this audiobook when triple platinum on my phone!!!
also i just know a single dad x nanny romance hates to see me coming! i loved everything about this book: the romance, the forbidden aspect (hehe), the story, the kids (!!!!) and the spice (oh my god the spice!!!)
qb tyler knows what she's doing with an age gap romance and i hope she never stops writing them.

Single Dad / Nanny. Age Gap. Some of my favorite things. Although I did like the story one thing really bothered me. The Dad! I totally understand why his oldest was acting out. The dad refused to take time off and spend time with them because 'he was trying his best. Working hard to support them'. Yet when the hot young nanny comes, he takes a lot of time off or works from home more often. Even at the first soccer game he went to in forever, he was only focused on her. The uncle showed more interest in the game than he did. Other than that I liked the story, I wish we got more of the oldest and middle child changing their attitude.

Even with this story being slightly more of a slow burner compared to other Q.B. books, you’ll have such a good time just getting to experience all the members of the Kincaid family that you honestly won’t mind waiting a lil longer for the steam to start. The kids were written so well, each having their own distinctive personality that was so much fun to listen to them being little terrors or adorable sweethearts. And River… 😮💨 Ooh, he’s got charm for days; I’m already in love with him from the bits we got of him in this book. I can’t wait to read his!

Now the PG stuff, ok BOTH of them absolutely phenomenal character voices! Stephen Dexter doing any scene where Rowan and his brother River were bantering was hilarious; I was fully cackling! And Audrey Obeyn doing the kids’ voices had me in baby fever for how absolutely adorable they were, particularly Isla; she absolutely nailed doing her voice!
