I dreamed of my demon long before I met him. It's just a shame the dream turned out to be a lie.

Everything about Dremen Academy has turned out to be a lie. My childhood best friend is a traitor asshole; my bonded demon, Mikael, couldn't give less of a shit if I live or die; and now I'm locked up in some evil spell that wants to kill me. The chosen method of death? Trapping me in dreams and nightmares, like I chased a white rabbit down one too many rabbit holes.

Everyone wants something from me.

They all want me to break down.

Sorry to disappoint, but breaking down isn't in my vocabulary. I'm going to haul my ass out of this mess with or without help. The only question is: will I do it like a witch, or will the hidden power that lies dormant in my veins win the fight?

Just like everyone else, this power wants something from me. Desire. Dreams. Mikael. But maybe it knows something I don't, because Mikael has begun to look at me like he dreams of me, too. If this power is what I think it is, it would know.

The succubus in me has been asleep for a long time. I think she's finally waking up.

Jade Bones is a paranormal romance and reverse harem author who loves writing about tempting, swoon-worthy supernatural men and the (equally swoon-worthy) women who steal their hearts. More than just the romance, Jade especially loves to create worlds that mix together gritty urban aesthetics with surreal, dream-like magic.

When she isn't writing, you can find her drinking tea, cuddling her dog, or taking tarot far too seriously.

The Awakening . . .

Beth is struggling with the fact that everything about Dremen Academy is a lie. Her best friend is a traitor; her bonded demon, Mikael, doesn’t care about her; and now a spell is trying to kill her by trapping her in dreams and nightmares. No expects her to survive, but she will. Can she get out of this predicament like a witch, or will she need to use the hidden power that still lies dormant? And maybe that is the answer because Mikael has begun to look at Beth like he might be dreaming of her too. Her succubus power may finally be awakening!

The story line in this book was good, well-paced, and the characters were described perfectly. Even the reading flowed smoothly to keep the reader fully invested in what was going on. Grab your copy and see if things will start to turn around soon for our Beth, especially now that her dormant power is awakening!

Holy crap, what an absolutely amazing book! As soon as I read the description, I knew that I needed to read it. It has demons, lies, betrayal, bonds, dream weaving, secrets, and steamy romance that cannot be contained! The characters are absolutely wonderful. We find out that Mikael is hiding a huge secret; the main reason why he seems like he doesn't care for Beth but really is trying to protect her. Beth believes that her bonded demon Mikael hates her and she finds out something huge about herself that will change the way she views herself. Pick up this book, you will not regret it!

This one was way more complicated than the others. None of the girls liked giving in. But Beth is the worst so far!
