Rate this book
Once upon a time, three men almost ruined me.
Now they're the only refuge I've got.

Stumbling on the luxury house in the woods seems like a godsend when I’m on the run for my life — until I realize the three men who destroyed me live there.

Jude exercises his demons through his drawings — and I’m his newest obsession.

Nolan is uniquely equipped to manage my medical condition but has a weakness of his own that just might kill him.

And then there’s the worst one of all, Rafe. F*cking Rafe, who acts like nothing in the world can touch him — especially me — but wakes up screaming in the night.

They’re ruinous evil bastards.

Huge. Reckless. Dangerous.

But they have the key to the mystery I’m trying to solve. And the truth is? I’ve got nowhere else to go.

Now the question isn’t whether I can overcome what they did to me — but whether I’ll survive what they have planned for me now.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this PHENOMENAL book! Sadie literally NEVER disappoints!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Into The Fire is an interconnected standalone series that follows the Blackwell Bastards. You don't necessarily need to read the series before, but it will help provide more context for things brought up in the book.
Our main heroine, Lilah, experienced significant distress at the hands of three boys in high school; Nolan, Rafe and Jude. Now, fate has brought them back into her orbit. Despite the history and the pain it caused, and against her conscious desires, an undeniable attraction is beginning to surface, creating a complex situation. Lilah is now on the run from some bad people and the Bastards help her hideout, while also searching for the people after her. During all of this, Lilah rekindles with the guys one by one and eventually all together. ;) Nolan, the sweet healer. Jude the sexy strategist and Rafe the grumpy one who takes a little longer to come around. This book has it all, and kept me hooked from the moment I picked it up. The cliffhanger has absolutely ruined me and i'm anxiously waiting for the next book 'Hell To Pay'.
If you are looking to read a dark, steamy reverse harem book, PLEASE PICK THIS ONE UP! (or really any Sadie Hunt book!)

Just when you thought Sadie’s books couldn’t get any better than they already were… she releases this banger of a book 1 to a new series.

These dang cliffhangers I tell ya though. I kinda saw this one coming to a certain extent but dang they still make me angry lol.

This is Lilah, Nolan, Jude and Rafe

Their story is one from trauma, these boys “ruin” Lilah’s life in high school and now she ends up back in their world again now due to some unforeseen circumstances. I’m a sucker for forced proximity I love it so much so this is just chiefs kiss to me.

These boys are going to have to fight to be in her good graces and fight for her and I can wait to see how this all plays out soon!!

Plus the spice is spicin for book 1. So can’t wait to see the top notch steam that will be coming next!!

I didn't realize this was the start of a series because it wasn't marked as one on ku. It just didn't hold my interest enough to continue. Considering the depth of the betrayal and what the consequences were for her, she jumped into sex with two of them way too fast. They did nothing to earn her forgiveness, and she's still on the outs with the one guy who orchestrated the betrayal. I might check the next book to see what his reason for it was, but that's it. There was too much "they're just so hot" and BBS all over the place.

Ahem….let’s all take a moment to give a round of applause to Sadie cause she absolutely SMASHED IT again!

I have read all of Sadie’s books and I’m never disappointed. You won’t be either if you liked the movie Point Break or the Show Animal Kingdom you’re going to love Rafe, Jude, Nolan and Lilah’s story.

This book centers around the four of them Lilah being our FMC knew the trio in high school and so,e things happened back then to shape their relationship sending it down a path of zero contact and absolute dislike and distrust from her perspective. where as the men in this scenario wanted her then and still want her now but there’s years of baggage and new threats in the way.

Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, touch her and 💀, an FMC that can and will hold her own and takes no one’s bs.

I will say this does end on one big cliff hanger but you won’t have to wait long the second book comes out in May.

Also ….tiny dislike for me I do not like one of the nicknames for Lilah it doesn’t do a thing for me but I can overlook it !

Overall another 5⭐️ hit if you haven’t read her other books I highly recommend starting with Aventine university trilogy read in order then Blackwell beasts trilogy read in order then into the fire as there is character cross over between books series. This was also a spicy one 4🌶️ for ,e which I ate up! Looking forward to book 2 in may !

Sadie does it again. These boys ruined Lilah in high school and now she is reunited with them again. She didn’t want to like them and she surely didn’t want to be attracted to them. Nolan was sweet, Jude was funny, and Rafe, well Rafe was Rafe. This is the first book in a 3 book run and the chaos has just begun. It ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see where Sadie leads us. It was so good and I’m ready for more!

Another Book of Sadie's that does not disappoint! I received an ARC copy, and from start to finish, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat. Finally, getting Rafe & Crew's story is what I've been waiting for, and Lilah is perfect to keep them on their toes. You will not be able to put this book down. It has the best mix of adventure, suspense, and spice to keep you wanting more. I screamed when I got to the last page, and May can not get here fast enough.

I had the immense pleasure of reading this book as part of the Sadie Hunt ARC team. I devoured it in one day! Yes, it was that good. I found Lilah (FMC) relatable, and I love how she persevered to make a life for herself. I love her strength and feistiness. The 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ is phenomenal; wait til you read about the Sauna...whew 🤭 😶‍🌫️.

You must read Sadie's previous series if you haven't read them. You can start reading this series before the Kings & Beasts but I recommend you do to understand the backstory since at least the Beasts are featured in this book.

Sadie Hunt You did a fantastic job with this book, and thank you for letting me join your ARC team.

I received this book as an ARC and finished it up in a day. I couldn’t put it down. I’ve loved all of Sadie’s books but I think this series is going to be my favorite (I probably say that about them all). I think that Lilah is more relatable to the average person as she doesn’t have the same background as Willa and Daisy. If you haven’t read the other 2 series with The Kings and Beasts then you absolutely should but it isn’t required so far. The mentions of events In those books are explained so you won’t feel confused. I love that Lilah works hard to face her demons, even when she’s scared she still stands up and fights and refuses to be a damsel. I’ve definitely yelled at her a few times during my read though. I’m so excited to get the next books and find out what’s next for Lilah and the Bastards!

Sadie’s Blackwell universe is always good but this one really struck me for its social commentary. Lilah is like the rest of us, working for every penny, stuck in the cracks of society, aware that if we disappeared, like the unnamed girl in the story, we’d be quickly forgotten if our disappearance was noticed at all. She follows the mystery not just because it affects her but because she wants that girl to matter. I found this quite profound…

“Would someone who had the luxury to wage a war have been behind a seedy bar in a nowhere town at two in the morning? Would they have been hauling out a bag of trash at a time when they would have seen the girl being shoved into the car? No, that was left to people like me. And being in the trenches of life instead of high on a hill didn’t mean I didn’t give a shit about other people. If anything, I felt more connected to the girl. Who was she? Was she someone like me? Someone who didn’t have people in the world who would know if she went missing? Maybe I had it wrong. Maybe those of us who didn’t have the luxury had to stick together since no one else seemed to give a shit about us.”

I had decent hopes for this book after having heard great praise for Sadie Hunt, however I left feeling... disappointed at best. I will say that the writing itself is not bad and the plot had potential, but the issues below just sort of ruined it for me.

The biggest problem came with the characters.

We are expected to believe that Lilah's life was utterly ruined by these men – to the point that , but beyond some glaring and snapped comments, she doesn't really seem all that put out by their presence. In fact, she's more preoccupied with the strange, sexual tension that seems to simmer between them, and is more than eager setting about exploring it.

She barely questions them on why they hurt her, and when she does she seems to accept that, or at least enough to let him take her virginity. Aside from one strange outburst where she outs herself as a virgin to the other two, she takes this in stride remarkably well for someone who still has lingering religious guilt, especially after doing it with one of the guys who supposed 'ruined her life' – with another soon to follow. Which isn't to say that she has to be all wounded bird, sick with guilt over it, but the blasé attitude that follows doesn't connect with the traumatised girl we were told still has to fight off the urge to pray for forgiveness over simple lies. But I suppose it's okay, because they're all really hot.

Okay yes, there is a breakdown later on, but even that feels tacked on. The guys seem surprised to find out how bad things were in the aftermath (despite already knowing she was committed for a month or two??), but honestly I can't blame them because her actions and attitude towards them at that point massively contradict what she's saying.

Also the guys themselves are interchangeable, aside from Rafe being an asshole over every little thing, again because of 'reasons'. They're all extremely into her – especially the asshole, not that he'd admit it. Aside from lingering guilt over their actions six years ago and her physical appearance, I can't exactly explain why. None of them have any personality.

As for the guys, they're sold to us as evil, terrible men. They're big and bad and dangerous... or so we're told. What they did six year ago was severely messed up, I'm not arguing that. Their military past is also not sparkling, but it's made clear that although they came close to the line, they never crossed it, so.... where is the evil? If you take out the incident in high school, they, with the exception of Rafe (on the surface level), treat Lilah like she's something precious, they look out for her, want to protect her despite her halfhearted protests. Okay they have guns and a 'dangerous' job but again I don't feel it.

I love a good dark romance. Horrible, sexy men mistreating the heroine, realising how badly they screwed up and grovelling on their hands and knees to fix it – or, alternatively, digging their heels in dragging the heroine along until she falls into their web and can't get out. This misses the mark on both ends. They aren't dark enough to feel like the villains and there's not enough grovelling or even acknowledgement of their past misdeeds for an actual redemption.

It's a shame, because I do feel like this had potential.

Where do I even start.

Right now, I'm packing a fit that the next book in this series isn't out till may 😭

It's good
Omg it's good
I smashed this book in 9 hours.
It was recommended by the author in elle thorpes drama llama group IFYKYK.

This book is MMFM
It has TW of suicide and possible SA.

I don't even know how to put into word how much I loved this book.
The story, the plot, the character, ah so amazingly good.

I love my mmfm books, and elle thorpe is the absolute queen of that.
I've struggled to find good mmfm books. I'm happy I came across this, so thanks, sadie, for advertising your book cos it is *chiefs kisses 💋 😘 👌

Back to this book and my opinion on it and the characters eeek.

Lilah, her story and back story is definitely heartbreaking, to say the least. But it also shows and proves how strong of a woman she is and has become, and that alone makes me proud of her even if she is a fictional character. lol.

This book really draws you in with how it starts and then completely sucks you in once you learn the back story of lilah and the 3 men.

I was not a fan of these men. Im still a little standoffish on them even now.
The men in question are Nolan, Jude & Rafe.
Nolan, i liked more than the others he was more kind and caring towards lilah.
But i still need to know the WHY??

Why did these men then teenage boys do what they did to lilah back in high school?
We got Nolan and Judes what I thought of as a pathic excuse of why. But I need to know Rafes.

To give you some contexts.
Back in high school, lilah was an outcast, someone who kept to herself, never doing anything to warrant anyones attention. She was invited to a school party. A guy named Brandon Miller gave her a drink that was spiked.
Nolan, Jude, and Rafe proceeded to take her out to Rafes' car strip her almost naked except her undies and took photos of her, and then sent them to everyone in the school.
6years later, lilah comes across them one night after being chased through the snow and forest by unknown men who are trying to kidnap her. They were the last people she ever expected to see again, let alone be saving her life in that moment.

It's a good read and has some really good spice in it.
And some good redemption from the men.

One thing I didn't like was the nicknames that Nolan or Jude used. I just couldn't with those names, but that's me.

It's definitely worth the read, and I will now try to wait patiently for the next book

Red Flags and Ugh

I'm a fan of the others books in this interconnected the world. I really am. But this one... I don't know. The FMC knows the MMCs from high school. Where they got her naked, took photos, and then released those photos to the entire school. So the shy FMC had her entire high school experience completely ruined by the boys she dubbed the bastards. How do you forgive that? Especially when what she goes through after that experience is horrifying. So, she runs into them quite literally by accident in the middle of the woods. Because of their military and security background they say she should stay with them. For her safety. And of course since it's a RH dark romance there is spice abound. But the groveling is non-existent. Sure. Our girl wants to take a ride or 50 on the hot MMCs but come on. Have some backbone. Stand your ground. They're hot and intriguing but they're not the only guys in town. So the ongoing mystery of yet MORE missing girls in the area is entwined in this series. Okay. Human trafficking is prevalent and a serious problem. But what does our FMC do? Hey. She knows some fighting so she can somehow learn how to get on the dark web and thinks she can face the bad guys herself. Come on. The end pissed me off so much. Let's go off on our own and not tell anyone where we're going even though countless women have gone missing and are probably dead. Oh. And the men I think are connected to this are so terrifying I was scared for my own life. Makes perfect sense. Yeah. I get the need for drama but the FMC needs a lobotomy. 3/5 stars because at least it was well edited.

ABSOLUTELY EXHILARATING!!!

What an incredibly FASCINATING story!!!!
Right from the beginning this dark romance had me hooked!! Every part of Lilah Nolan, Jude and Rafe’s story consumed and enthralled me. I couldn’t put this book down!!
These characters are so darn interesting, entertaining and enticing.
Lilah is still struggling with her past and the issues she has with her mother. This also includes what she suffered due to what happened with Nolan, Jude and Rafe.
Unfortunate events have driven her back into their lives and now those bad feelings are resurfacing.
No longer the high schoolers that ruined her, Nolan, Jude and Rafe help her work out why she’s in danger.
There’s a thin line between love and hate, and innocent Lilah is in for an awakening.
Nolan is the handsome healer, the charmer and the first to apologize for his wrongdoing. Jude is the handsome strategist and naughty charmer that shows her he also regrets what he did. As for Rafe, he’s the handsome grumpy one who thinks Lilah needs to move on from the past.
Lilah may be smart, tenacious, hardworking and independent but she never thought she could be so attracted to the three men who burned her world down.
Now they are making her burn in the most sensual, dirty and provocative way all while trying to keep her safe.
If you’re looking to escape in a dark, provocative, suspenseful and sinfully delightful why choose romance, you will be thoroughly satisfied with Lilah, Nolan, Jude and Rafe’s EXPLOSIVE, HOT and REMARKABLE story.
This book ends with a THRILLING cliffhanger that leaves you wondering so many things.
Now I can’t wait to read Hell to PAY!!!

Thank you so much, Sadie for the ARC!!

I apologize for reviewing a bit late, my dog had a snip snip surgery, and I didn't have as much time to read.

Anyways, onto my review:

It's 2025 and we are SO back! I am so excited that this released and that I got the ARC!

I devour Sadie's books, they're the perfect mix of drama, angst, thriller and a mystery that needs solving.

Plus, all the characters hate each other, and what better way to hash it all out than to have special circumstances that force them all together?

This story features Lilah (short for Delilah), our female protagonist who was on the run from some bad dudes chasing her. She's on the brink of hypothermia, but fortunately she finds a house with lights on.

She gets away from the bad guys, but at the cost of running right back into the arms of the guys who ruined her reputation in high school, the Blackwell bastards.

The guys have different reactions to the forced prox:

- Nolan: he's a medic who demands she's in no condition to go out on her own. He tries to keep the peace and be the voice of reason.

- Jude: the brooding artist who might be a biit obsessed.

- and Rafe: their leader whowants nothing more than to see her leave

I kind of struggled a bit with how quickly the FMC forgave the guys for what they did, I wish it was addressed more, but besides that it was good.

Kudos for calling Tesla drivers douchebags too.😂

Into The Fire 🔥 🔥!! Where to begin? It certainly was filled with fire! An ordinary girl, living an ordinary life, trying very hard to stay under the radar until one night she’s at the wrong place at the wrong time. Her escape leads her to an unexpected destination! The last place she wants to be! Lilah finds herself right in the middle of the Blackwell Falls missing girls saga with her most hated enemies as her protector no less!

Lilah is not your sweet wallflower heroine like Daisy but she’s still a bit sheltered! She’s a bada** and when she finds herself sharing space in very close proximity to her most hated enemies; what’s a girl to do? Act on her carnal desires or stay far away from them? Lilah has a lot to work through and it’s all confusing but her past has now merged with her present in the most complicated way! There’s danger of the unknown and danger of falling for the men who she despise but she needs their help and they feel that they need to pay penance for their past actions! It’s a complicated, combustible situation in more ways than one!

There’s danger of being burned literally and figuratively but the Basta*** are there to stay whether Lilah likes it or not, including Rafe! Another gripping, heart pounding, sexy suspense thriller by Sadie! It promises to be another exciting RH thrill ride! Can’t wait to see what’s within the pages of book 2! It’s soo good and Lilah can certainly hold her own!

I was like you’re talking to me seriously bro? Y la FMC parece aceptar eso como si nada?????🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 y luego se acuesta con el. 🤐🤐Aparte de que todavía tiene una culpa religiosa persistente, especialmente después de hacerlo con uno de los tipos que supuestamente "arruinó su vida". My anger issues could never.☠️

I received an ARC copy of Into the Fire and let me tell you that I’m so mad right now. So mad that I finished it so fast that I don’t know what to do now. This book was AMAZING! We have Lilah and The Bastards (Rafe, Jude and Nolan). you first get a glimpse of The Bastards in Blackwell Beasts. The guys….lets just say they have some groveling to do from high school. They did Lilah DIRTY! Present day, Lilah is one tough cookie. Don’t help her without permission, she doesn’t want it. Unfortunately and fortunately for her (depends on how you look at it) Lilah has no other choice but to accept their help, even if she shouldn’t give them the time of day. I can’t even imagine how books 2&3 will go. You can already tell these men will burn the world down for Lilah. I can’t wait to see what happens next. This book is 1000% worth the read, especially if you liked Kings and Beasts. The mysteries continue to unfold. Again…so good. So much angsts and nothing was rushed. This was not insta-like or insta-love. The pace made it that much better because you really get a feel for how they all truly feel about what happened in high school and how it has affected their lives since. Also Lilah’s struggle with how she now has to trust the last people on earth she even wants to be in the same room with. READ IT…you will NOT be disappointed!

Sadie Hunt has done it again! I am in awe, in love & in anticipation!

My awe is because yet again Sadie has written another brilliant book. The Bastards has a great storyline evolving deeper the further you head into Book 1. The character detail is brilliant, I feel like I know these characters through the depth of their stories. Sadie has been able to touch on several issues with respect and honesty for the characters & I can see their stories will unfold across the next book.

My love is for 3 male characters that have sweet soft sides yet are obviously a force to be reckoned with. Our Lilah is awesome, her strength & storyline is well written for the MFC. Their spice is 11/10 & let’s be honest, this is an important factor in these type of stories! lol! Their relationship develops over Book 1 but I’m really looking forward to seeing where it heads to!

My anticipation is because I just can’t wait to read the next book! Sadie excels in the art of Cliffhanger’s & this book is right up there!

Ticks All My Boxes!
✔️Alt POV’s
✔️Hot Spice!
✔️Great story line
✔️Well written & flowing timelines
✔️Relatable characters
✔️Did I say hot spice?

You can read this series as a standalone but I highly recommend the Aventine University & the Blackwell Beasts for a more in depth look at the backstory!

Enjoy!

I absolutely loved this book. I honestly think this is going to be my favorite Blackwell series.

I loved Lilah so much and I cannot wait to see all the chemistry that is going to grow between her Jude and Nolan. I also cannot wait until the fire between her and Rafe just explodes. It is going to be soo good. I also love seeing our previous characters from the rest of the Blackwell series.

This book literally grabbed my attention from the 1st page. Jumping straight into the action of what was going to be the story line from the get go. Learning about Lilah's past with Rafe, Jude, and Nolan as the book slowly takes you to flashback of what go them to where they were at. The remorse that the guys feel for what they did to her. The bomb that Lilah drops of how massive something silly they did completely changed her life. and the whole story line in itself. There is obviously another player that we didn't see with the Beasts and I cannot wait to see who it is and how they will bring this person down, but for now that ending I need them to go find their girl and rescue her!!! I cannot wait for the next book!

you really did it again Sadie

Into The Fire Book 1.

So, I enjoyed this Book and also noticed more branched-out books that tie in with this series. Depending on how this storyline continues, I may look into them.
In this book, I'll say that the pro parts for me were the plot stayed pretty consistent and the characters had strong personalities. I had moments where I questioned the MFC's intelligence, especially the main decision-making she did. (won't detail it, so I don't give any spoilers but once you read the book you'll get what I'm talking about)
The main reason I gave a 4-star rating is due to the long drawn-out explanation for moments in the story. Kind of how I did this review, how instead of getting to the point I'm putting a lot of unnecessary words in between the start to finish of the explanation. The point is we don't need 5 paragraph daydreaming about the same thing that was just spoken about.
That's my opinion nevertheless, the storyline was pretty good so far, so I just skipped over the extra drawn-out parts. (Normally hate doing that bc don't wanna miss anything) this time I'm confident I missed zero information from skipping parts.
Happy reading!

I think maybe I went into this book with incorrect expectations. The snippets from the online marketing drew me in and the opening chapter was heart pounding- I loved it.

But the remainder of the book, up until the last 40 pages, was all about relationship development between the FMC and MMCs. I assumed, based on the set up for the story, that there would be more action, clues to the mystery, and breadcrumbs to follow. But the FMC and MMCs hit dead end conversation after dead end conversation and there is not much action.

I got to the remaining 40 pages hoping we’d see some sort of action, but they just moved locations. And that is when I realized that this is a trilogy and not a standalone novel.

The last 3 chapters is where I really lost interest. I personally dislike an FMC who intentionally walks into a dangerous situation with no back-up, no skills to get herself through it, and leaves her freaking cell phone at home with a note that says, “I’ll be back.” I thought the FMC had more sense than that but that was not the case. So it was completely unsurprising that the FMC falls prey to the very people she spent the last 340 pages hiding from. 🙄

Sadie does it again! I could not put this book down.

We're back in Blackwell Falls, and Lilah (Delilah) is running through the snow-covered woods while being chased by 3 guys on snowmobiles. On the verge of hypothermia, she sees a house in the distance, hoping someone is home. When she knocks, her past tormentors just might become her saviors.

Nolan, Jude, and ringleader Rafe each have different reactions to Lilah's appearance on their front door. Force to put their feeling aside for the moment, they take her in, and realize there is a bigger problem in Blackwell Falls.

While dealing with the past and the present, Lilah starts to trust the men she's affectionately calls the Bastards. And they begin to trust her. After a trip to the Greek Isles leads to trouble ...

The tension, banter and angst are all there. Sadie does a great job of sucking you in nd and putting you right in Balckwell Falls. You won't want want to put this down.

I received an ARC in return for my honest review.

Bullies suck

I know too well what it's like to be bullied by others. It sucks. You can either let it destroy you or make you stronger. It's hard when you feel invisible, unseen, unheard, alone.

Lilah used it to make her stronger. Raised by her first bully, an overbearing, "righteous" woman, then bullied in high school by the Blackwell Bastards, Lilah spirals into suicide. They save her, much to her disappointment. However, this spurs her on to overcome.

Six years later, she accidentally sees a kidnapping go down. She's seen, chased, and nearly killed. Saved by the very men who hurt her in high school, Lilah has to trust them to help her stop this trafficking ring, who take the girls no one sees.

Rafe, Nolan, and Jude suffer a lot of guilt over their past actions. They're also very much attracted to her. As they all delve deeper into the trafficking, they head to an island in Greece seeking answers.

This dark, twisted ride into the dark web and its underworld of scum, Lilah puts herself in danger. Will the Bastards be in time to save her?

Betrayal and Forgiveness

WARNING: This book contains a sexual assault subplot and the ramifications of dealing with the aftermath that some readers may find disturbing. For those who choose to continue, you won’t be disappointed!

The book starts off with the heart pounding chase through the snowy forest as Lilah runs for her life after seeing something she shouldn't have. As with all of Sadie's stories I was intrigued and couldn't wait to find out what happened next.

I normally gobble up anything Sadie writes, but I struggled with this first book in the series. I just couldn't get past what they did to Lilah in high school. To me it was unforgivable. I tried putting that out of my mind but it is repeated over and over throughout which made it difficult to enjoy the story as much as I wanted to. If it wasn't for that, I would have loved this book as I do all her other books.

This book ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

Lilah Abbott was humiliated in high school by the 3 MMC’s (Nolan, Rafe and Jude) Which resulted in a lot of hurt, pain, and trauma. But that saying, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ is very much true in this case. Lilah took what happened to her and filed it for the life she wanted and was making the best of things when she saw something she shouldn’t have, ended up running for her life and running right into the arms of the guys who ruined her. This first book in the Blackwell Bastards was so good, the storyline flowed, the drama is drama’ing, and the spice is on point, Lilah is a strong FMC, just the things she has been through. Whewww. And the guys, I guess they are alright even though they did my girl Lilah dirty. Well Rafe, he still got some making up to do!!!! That cliffy thoughhhh. I am hooked and excited for book 2!

Serious question though… Do y’all use mayonnaise or butter on your bread for grill cheese?

First things first…I knew I would enjoy this book because Sadie wrote it. Obviously. I’m so grateful to have received an ARC of this book.

I don’t often read polyamorous or reverse harem books but when I do, they’re usually by Sadie. She has a way of writing these relationships and making you fall for their connection and for each of them for different reasons.

I knew going into it that there’d be a cliffhanger since it’ll be like her others, three books, but I wasn’t prepared y’all! 😅😂

Spicy. Angsty. Romance. Hotter than white fire.

❤️‍🔥 Let it Burn!! 🔥

All in all, this book is worth a read and if you love your MMCs dark, your FMC a puddle of want and the lust between them all to be a tangible thing, go read Into the Fire, the first book in the Blackwell Bastards. Then make sure to keep an eye out for when you can add the next ones to your TBR. You won’t want to miss them.

♥️❤️‍🔥🖤🔥

Rafe oh Rafe this man is such a hard ass, but I find that he is my favorite guy. A close second would be Jude 100%. I loved every character to be honest with you.

Sadie Hunt has made everyone of her books so intriguing that you get sucked into this world that she writes about and the people and it’s like you’re there and you know them and you have a relationship with them.

This one will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t wanna put it down. I know I didn’t. I love me some dark why choose romance. And it is always delivered in these books of hers.

I loved everything about this book and I cannot wait to read the next one. They do end on cliffhanger because she writes the next book in the series so if you haven’t read her other books, you should check them out three books each series.

Best so far

I love Lilah, our female main character in this book. Her story resonates on a personal level for me. She's been through things that break a person but came out the other side stronger and fighting. The guys are working to make up for their serious mistakes, some more than the other (still want to smack Rafe right now), and I look forward to their redemption arc.
Into the fire starts off with a bang and keeps you hooked, and since this is a trilogy, that means, yes, one heck of a cliffhanger.
One of the best things about Sadie's books is the deep, complex, and complete story lines. Add that smoking hot spice, and you can't go wrong. Can't wait to see the next in this series.
I recommend going back and starting with the Kings and then the Blackwell beasts trilogies. Yes, they are stand-alone, but they are in the same world, and they are just that good.

Seriously Sadie with the cliffhangers?? It's a love-hate relationship with us.
So ready to see how the next chapter in their story goes. Something about a strong FMC who thought she was broken only to come back forged in her own strength and does not let herself be seen as less than, who accepts nothing less than she deserves, is empowering to read. Lilah was a victim who took back her power even if she doesn't realize how strong she is.
Strong men who can own their mistakes and are protective without being total alphaholes is my weakness. These 3 are checking all the boxes!

The spice with Sadie's writing is always deliciously paired with a strong storyline.
I'll happily read anything she writes .
Come. On. May. 13th!!
