RETURN OF THE WICKED EARL - Lady Annalise fell in love with Blake, Earl of Payne, but after their marriage he treated her horribly & she lost the love she once had for him. Then Blake disappeared - he was kidnapped, tortured, sold to a slave ship & after 2 years finds a way to escape & return to win his wife back & get revenge on the men who started this deed against him. After 2 years of Blake being gone, widowed Annalise has decided to marry a friend, a marriage of convenience, but then her missing husband reappears. Can Blake convince Annalise to trust him after telling her about his past? Can he convince her he has changed but he still wants revenge on the men who kidnapped him? Will Annalise forgive him, can she believe his stories & trust him? I highly recommend this book & am looking forward to reading the next one.
SECRETS OF THE WICKED VISCOUNT - Olivia, daughter of Viscount & Viscountess Landen, was a breath of fresh air in this book! She was outspoken, slightly peculiar, a little clumsy & definitely misunderstood but that is what made her such a wonderful character. She & Jarvis, Viscount St. John had been neighbors. had known each other all their lives & were best of friends. He taught her how to fish, ride horses etc. Now that she is nearly on the shelf, she has asked Jarvis to help her gain interest of a gentleman she has become interested in. Jarvis had been thrown, unexpectedly, into the title of viscount after his parents died & Viscount Landen helped him through getting comfortable with his new title & running the estate - even after successfully navigating the title, he still came to Landen for advice. Olivia was his best friend but when she asked him to help her learn how to flirt & gain the attention of a certain lord; well, he wouldn't refuse her but somehow it bothered him. Jarvis & Olivia had a slow burn romance - it took them their entire life to realize or admit that they were in love with each other. When they finally did face facts, well the trip to a HEA was full of secrets, danger, murder, kidnapping but still time for some spicy romance. This was a very entertaining romance with some danger & mystery thrown in the mix.
CURSE OF THE WICKED SCOUNDREL - This was a steamy, emotional & dark tale - it vividly replays our hero, Keyon/Hades' young life full of pain & being a sex slave for men plus his personal loneliness growing up without love. Eloise Gunning is the sister of a thief-taker, Ford Gunning. One day she was taken from his house, a burlap bag place over her head & deposited at Hades' hell as a guest/prisoner. When Keyon/Hades & Eloise meet - she is not afraid of him & lets him know that fact & he is confused & amazed at her bravery. They spend time together & things heat up but there is danger, the curse & traitors to contend with. I really enjoyed this book & it had all the elements that work for me - well-written, good pace, interesting story, lovable characters & most of all, it left me smiling & happy after I read "The End". I don't go over the story in my review because it's cheating the reader but let me say that the story grabs your interest immediately & keeps you quickly turning pages until the HEA Epilogue.

An entertaining, well crafted story. Mistakes and betrayals abound, but passion, finding trust again and a second chance at love conquers all for Blake and Annalise.

An entertaining story of friends to lovers, a slow build romance with lots in between. Olivia is a little different, a little on the shelf, and a little in love with her best friend. Jarvis has always adored and loved Olivia, but his life is full of danger so he keeps her at a distance. Danger abounds and secrets emerge, and of course their hidden passion starts to be explored. I enjoyed their journey to love.
