1919. The Great War is over, but for Thomas Bartley, the battle has just begun.
Tasked by British intelligence to investigate his own brother, Jack, for the murder of an undercover agent, Thomas travels to Buenos Aires, a city simmering with political unrest. He finds Jack transformed, a man entangled in dangerous alliances while building a railroad across the Andes. Caught between his duty and his family, Thomas uncovers a web of secrets and lies that threaten to shatter their bond. Graciela Valera, the woman Jack loves, holds secrets of her own, and her connection to a powerful Argentine family complicates Thomas’s investigation. Told from three perspectives, Switch Track is a compelling historical thriller that explores the dark side of ambition and the enduring power of family ties.

Loved the storytelling. It was fun learning about a time and place in history that was less familiar to me - and enjoying the intrigue along the way!
