I was raised Catholic, where doubt was sin and obedience was salvation. But even then, I sensed the lie. The world was full of questions, and none of the answers I was given could stand against the silence inside me. That’s why I became a physicist—not to escape faith, but to chase it down to its foundations, to strip away every illusion until only truth remained.
What I found wasn’t comforting, and it wasn’t safe. So I write—to confront that reality head on. To explore what happens when humanity tries to replace God with machines, with immortality, with itself. My books are not for the easily reassured. They are for those who feel the fracture too—for those who were handed certainty and found it empty.
If you’ve ever stood on that edge—between belief and awakening—you are my reader. If not, that’s fine. I spent enough years trying to please people who told me not to ask questions.

In the year 2060, death has been essentially eliminated. It sounds wonderful, but there are some problems that go along with no one dying. Meanwhile, Markus Blackwell’s actions are directed by Milli, a form of ultra-advanced artificial intelligence that governs the entity called the Global Protectorate. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a man who calls himself Elwood Blythe appears. He communicates with Markus, but what he has to say is cryptic and confusing.
Markus isn’t sure what to make of it, but suddenly, everything he thought he knew has been plunged into chaos. If Markus doesn’t figure out what’s happening and put a stop to it, then the world he thought of as utopian will fall into anarchy. This near-future sci-fi novel is compelling, fast-paced, and also seems eerily prescient.

A page-turning novel
If you're a fan of sci-fi novels, you'll probably like “2060”, which is a dystopian thriller penned by Njord Christensen.
In this story, it seems that death is not part of life and people live without trouble. Everything changes when Elwood Blythe, a ghost from another place, appears to alter the world. It’s a thriller novel that will leave readers with their eyes and senses on the alert all the time because it’s rather impossible to predict the denouement of the plot that is a bit complex but intriguing at the same time. It’s a story that has as protagonists human beings and the AI, which is something that appeared to stay and alter the way people live. In a nutshell, it’s a novel that has a complex plot with complex characters but one which is very interesting.

Dystopic and futuristic
I find this novel to have a very interesting plot, and it has truly captivated me. What stands out the most, however, is how it highlights the importance of working with and understanding technology. I believe that from today onward, we must become more knowledgeable about technology.
Humanity must be cautious about the power of technology and its potential consequences because, while technological innovation has the potential to transform the world positively, it can also lead to oppression, control, and the loss of freedom if not handled with ethics and responsibility, as the author refers to in the novel. It is crucial never to overlook the importance of preserving the fundamental values of humanity as we continue to advance toward the future.

"2060: The Second Coming. A Dystopian Novel (The Mind of Gods)" by Njord Christensen has completely amazed me, especially because this thriller doesn't seem so far removed from reality. The book transports us to a future where humanity has managed to eliminate death, thanks to the total control of an artificial intelligence called Milli. The plot unfolds in an apocalyptic setting, where global collapse threatens to end everything that exists. I really liked the creation of each of the book's characters; you can feel a constant tension between them. Without a doubt, it is a recommended read for those who enjoy stories about humanity in a dystopian future. For my taste, it has the perfect blend of science fiction with deep philosophical elements.

This is a really intense book. The story takes place in a future where an AI called "The Mind of Gods" controls everything in human life. This AI has basically become like a god, with control over people’s homes, thoughts, and actions. It’s super scary to think about a world where no one can make their own decisions, and the AI is the one telling everyone what to do.
What really stands out in this book is how it shows the loss of freedom. In this world, people have no control over their lives, and making choices for yourself is just a thing of the past. The AI doesn’t just organize things, it controls how people live, what they think, and even what they want. The idea that we could depend on technology so much that we give up everything to an AI is honestly pretty frightening.

2060 is a dystopian thriller that surprised me for good. Christensen crafted a plot that results intriguing and absorbing story from page one, showing a future where death seems to be conquered. Of course, nothing comes without consequences, and what appeared to be salvation could be the end of humankind.
Overall, it was a great read. It takes some time to enter this new reality, but the author took his time to round up the characters while explaining in detail the intricacies of that society. It's the kind of book that immerses the reader for hours with its intensity, recommended for adults with a particular taste for Science Fiction.

I can’t explain in words how much I liked this story and, at the same time, the fear it generated in me to think about the scope that artificial intelligence could have in the world we live in. We tend to enjoy technology and the enormous advances it has; however, we rarely think about its detrimental effects and this author showed an apocalyptic prediction in a very realistic way; impossible not to reflect after reading it.
This is not just a science fiction story; its philosophical elements make the reader think from the very beginning about what we might actually lose.
Great story, excellent characters and better descriptions, all amazingly handled.

"2060" is a science fiction dystopia written by author Christensen. In this story, we meet Markus, a man who thought he was in control of his life, but little did he know what lay behind his actions and thoughts. One day, like any other, a ghost appears from outside and changes everything. Is Markus prepared to face the consequences?
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. I think the world-building is perfectly created and described. I loved seeing the metamorphoses the characters undergo, especially their protagonist, Markus. As for the story, I think it has its own twist and is quite different from 1984. I recommend this read to all readers who enjoy the dystopian genre.
