watching sophia and grant fall for each other was sweet. but let’s be real, hazel ran the show and everyone else was just living in it. her moments with sophia were so genuine. the kind of bond that makes you smile without realizing it. she was funny, smart, and had the kind of confidence only a kid that loved big could pull off. and honestly? every scene with her made my heart melt. she made the story feel full of life.

i really liked how the story took its time. the pacing was just right, and the way their connection built over time felt natural. it was emotional, soft, and so worth the wait.

something i really appreciated was how hazel’s mom, geneva, wasn’t written off. she was present, supportive, and never the “jealous ex” stereotype. it made the story feel more grounded and mature. like real people with real co-parenting dynamics. she was cheering them on just as much as i was.

and sophia… she had to constantly prove her worth in an industry that still makes women work twice as hard to be taken seriously. kimberly page really leaned into that, and it gave her character so much depth. it made me root for her even more.

as for grant, his journey was more internal. realizing that he could be loved like that again. watching him slowly open up was emotional and rewarding. and hazel being his little reality check? iconic behavior.

the last few chapters were also so adorable. everything came together in such a soft, satisfying way. it left me with the biggest smile.

Thank you Love Notes PR and Kimberly Page for a copy of this ebook in exchange of my honest review.

I really enjoyed reading about Grant and Sophia. There was an 11 year age gap, but I feel like it didn’t matter at all. I barely registered it while I was reading.

I enjoyed the sneak peaks into Hollywood and all the press that actors and actresses get.

I LOVED the take on men vs women in Hollywood and how they are looked at by others. I really liked that the author had Hazel’s mom not in the picture because she was focusing on her career. It wasn’t a negative thing like so many books portray it. She was still a loving mom. Grant respected her. She was just traveling so their daughter was with Grant. When she returned she was there 24/7. I also like they the author didn’t make Geneva a complication between Grant and Sophia. Can we have a book for her?!

Such a fun romance! I love a Hollywood love story and this didn’t disappoint. I don’t generally read age gap romances but this one was done well, and it wasn’t one that was sooo super significant that it came into play too much. The combination of that + forced proximity + single dad + the celebrity aspect = a wild, fast-paced whirlwind!

I really loved Grant’s relationship with his daughter - their dynamic was wonderful, and seeing his very real perspective of his doubts, not knowing if he was doing everything right, made you love him more. Also fun to get the behind the scenes look at producing a movie. There were just so many little gems throughout. Grant’s journey was particularly well done - I felt he really grew and you could definitely see why Sophia was falling for him. His past and his grief were handled with care. Definitely dove deeper than other romances, and at times it felt a bit like a departure from the main story, but I understood the necessity it had for the larger picture.

There was some repetition of information throughout which wasn’t too bothersome but does trip up pacing for me slightly. And some of the spice felt like we went from zero to a hundred quickly. It got very dirty very fast which I didn’t completely expect from either of them. But their constant tension kept things satisfying on that front (before that line was crossed).

I was frustrated with the turn things took in that third act, but what’s a little celebrity romance without some drama? Read this if you like your books spicy with a fair share of cliches to mix with your favorite classic romance tropes! It’s easy reading, a good book to get lost in quickly.

(3.5 round up!)

This was a cute little book that will be a nice palette cleanser after some bad books or emotional ones.

I did like this book but it didn’t stay with me. It was good in the moment and entertained me. I would say it’s a 3.5. If you want a fun little read then this is the book for you.

The story was good, I mean a big time studio executive falling for the star actress. It’s a good premise, especially when she has to go live with him. This of course led to some spicy scenes.

Grant is scared of love because of his past and had a daughter to think of (that’s right he’s a single dad). Sophia is younger and at the height of her career but has only dated immature boys. Of course there is the concern that if something happens between them, the media with say she got to where she is because she slept her way there.

All this makes for a good story. Like I said, it was a good book.

Hollywood Romance
Actress x Studio Exec
Age Gap (25, 36)
Single Dad

Review:
A lighter workplace read with plenty of spice and just a little bit push-pull. The Hollywood locale is what I loved, having been a film major! So I liked seeing the behind the scenes inner workings and Grant and Sophia's roles in it.

How they fall closer into orbit allows for them to self reflect on if what they're feeling could be fostered into something real and longer term considering the challenges of a demanding career in the film industry. I appreciate the peek into this complex world of balancing love and work.

They have a pretty good, and easy connection. Not quite as deep as I like, but a dependable, lighter romance if you're in the mood for one. They really click. But both stress not wanting relationships when internally they say how much they can't get enough of each other...so I don't quite understand why they then decide to do a friends with benefits type arrangement.

I feel like the spicy scenes and the dirty talk felt a little at odds with the very put together, cautious Grant. For me personally, too dirty, but I know others love it. It just felt like a different person when he began dirty talk...or like a spicy scene from so many other books, so I skimmed past those.

The film world they navigate was the highlight for me. Some of the side characters' observations of their behavior felt overly exaggerated though for the purpose of creating drama.

Again, an enjoyable lighter read for those wanting an easy, more predictable romance, but not a preferred one as much for me.

Thank you so much for the chance to read this early!
First and foremost: I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so seeing Wyatt and Blair again was really special. I knew from that series that Sophia/Grant would be a great story, and this did not disappoint. The female friendship storyline was tiny but really great to see, and sets the tone for the further books.
I LOVE a single dad story, and Grant is no exception. His relationship with Hazel is beautifully done, even if she is absurdly bright for a 6 year old. His balance of fatherhood, career aspirations, and love is well developed, and I thought his interiority really worked. I also LOVED the relationship between him/Geneva, especially Geneva's acceptance of Sophia. The lack of animosity is HUGE!
As with book 1, I thought the backdrop of Hollywood, and Sophia being a great actress looking for her break as a producer, really worked. I would have loved to see just a BIT more of their movie, but all in all it fits with the narrative. The chemistry between Sophia and Grant is sizzling from page one but also slow burn, which is just the right mix for me.
This is a little spicier language wise then I tend to like, and while I don't love a third act break up this one, as a parent myself, is really believable (so all is forgiven). The grand gesture is really cute too.

A really fun read that does a great job of delivering on the tropes and having some real life worked in...I am thrilled we're getting more in the series! Can't wait for that PR/Journalist angle next!

ARC REVIEW💙🤍!!!!

Did I read this book in less than half a day? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Will I be reading more from this author? Without a doubt.

First of all, I want to thank LoveNotes PR for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC, and of course, a huge thank you to the amazing author as well. This story was absolutely fantastic. We’ve got an age gap, a single dad, and something extra intriguing: life in the public eye. Being under public scrutiny is never easy, especially when you're dealing with children, unresolved past issues, or people who disrupt your peace.

But what I loved the most was how the author shows us that we can rise above all that. She handled these topics beautifully. This was such a deliciously slow burn—addictive from start to finish. Our heroine is incredibly smart, sweet, and lovable, while the male lead is a divine alpha male in every sense.

The way the characters navigated their challenges, the support they received, and how everything was resolved really resonated with me—especially the female lead.

Honestly, this was a beautiful, heartwarming story. I’m confident it’ll be one of my top reads of 2025. And if you’re reading this review wondering whether you should pick it up—do it. It will definitely bring a few smiles and maybe even some tears, but it’s 100% worth it.

Once again, thank you so much to everyone who gave me the chance to read this incredible advanced copy.

ARC Review🎬

✨Center Stage by Kimberly Page is a delightful mix of romance, drama, and just the right amount of behind-the-scenes chaos. From keeping it professional to grand romantic gestures, the story kept me entertained with a perfect balance of drama and heart. 🩵

🎬Sophia is the Oscar-winning actress turned producer who’s trying to prove she’s more than a pretty face, and 🫶🏽Grant is the grumpy single dad/studio exec who’s definitely not prepared for her to take over his guesthouse and his sanity.🤭Sophia and Grant have fantastic chemistry, and have such sweet banter. I lived for the mutual pining!😏Seriously the slow burn is borderline torture (in the best way), and the sexual tension could probably start a small fire.🔥

📸Sure, there are career stakes and paparazzi scandals, but the real drama is Sophia trying not to fall for Grant’s “I’m-so-serious-but-secretly-soft” dad energy while he’s out here pretending he’s not obsessed with her.😂Adding Hazel was the best! She brings such a good energy to the book.💕Grant relationship with her warms my heart and Sophia fit perfectly with Grant and Hazel.🥹

⭐️While the lovable characters and witty dialogue keep it fresh and engaging. The ups and downs of their relationship feel natural. If you love rom-coms with a touch of Hollywood glamour and a whole lot of personality, Center Stage is definitely worth a spot in the limelight!🙌🏽

I threw my kindle across the table at one point during this book because I was so exasperated.

Firstly, I’m not saying it’s bad it’s definitely a solid three stars BUT it could have been four which is what’s so exasperating. There’s just a little too much wishy washy, back and forth. The MMC doesn’t actually treat the FMC all that well he blows hot then suddenly it’s freezing again. Whenever they are alone together it goes from 0-naked so fast I got whiplash. We get lots of Sophia and Hazel time, and lots of Sophia and her friends time, but Sophia and Grant time is mostly just “we shouldn’t be doing this!” Followed by “bang bang bangity bang”. I’d have liked to see more of their relationship.

Also we spend the first half of the book building up to filming on location-then they skip it. Seriously it’s “we leave for location in two days” and then “three weeks later”! 😫.

The couple are together and happy for three week all off page and then he’s an arse again, they break up and suddenly it’s two months later and they’ve been apart and NOOOOW he realises what he’s done.

I know all of that makes it sound like I hated my life reading this book but I didn’t I promise. But mostly just because I really liked Sophia.

Uhm loveeeeeee! I stumbled upon Kimberly Page on instagram + I knew right away that I wanted to sign up for an ARC of this book based on the blurb. It didn’t disappoint! 🫶🏼

Thank you to Love Notes PR and Kimberly Page for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

A couple thing I want to note -
1. Hazel 🤩🤩 man, was she so fierce, independent and I absolutely loved how she said what was on her mind - which was perfect for her age!! I always love the addition of a small child but she was written so well!
2. The mutual pining but both not wanting to cross the professionalism line was SO freaking good! Sophia fit so seamlessly into Grant and Hazel’s lives, regardless of Grant trying to keep his walls up.
3. This couple made me feel all the warm and fuzzy things inside. But don’t worry, there was some spice too 😉 I loved Grant and Sophia!!

It’s authors like Kimberly Page that make me want to keep seeking out new Indie authors again and again 💕 this book was lovely!

💬Favorite Quotes💬

Some of my favorite quotes are going to have to be read when you pick the book up yourself - because they were too good to spoil 🥰

“I feel his eyes on me—not in the way most people look at me, but in a way that makes me feel seen.”

"Ok, well, my room isn't big enough for two people to stay, so you'll have to sleep with my dad."

"Look, I could keep trying to maintain this careful separation between personal and professional, but it’s clearly not working. Sophia makes our lives better. She challenges me to be better, to take risks, to let people in."

Hollywood glitz meets slow-burn perfection.
She’s the golden girl of the Oscars. He’s a broody, slightly older than her, hot single dad.

Slow burn with tension so thick you could cut it. He’s older than her and brings quiet dominance. She’s composed, clever, and absolutely not here for his brooding... until she is.

There’s no cringe — just that clean, grown energy with every stolen glance, every almost-touch. The kind of book that simmers while you try to act unbothered. And then it lands!

This one doesn’t shout — it whispers, it teases, it builds. 4 stars of intentional, emotionally-loaded romance with a side of subtle spice. It’s giving quiet obsession in the best way. 💕🌸

Thank you for letting me tread the ARC 💛

Love love love this book!!
Sophia and Grant were fantastic main characters. Their slow burn story had me glued to my book and I could not put it down until I finished. The ease and instant connection between Grant and Sophia could not be missed at all. And then when Grant brings Hazel into their world, and seeing Sophia and her click with ease was magical. Second Act is a story that can easily become my Roman Empire with just how amazing this romance novel is.

From the first page I was hooked.

This book has some funny moments but the weight of the tension between these two is so heavy from the first few pages. These two are drawn like magnets to one another. The feel of their emotions is felt on each and every page. Grant is sweet yet firm. And Sophia is one of the most confident and sexy female main characters. She is smart and such a bright light. Grant is a single dad who puts his daughter first. Hazel who is the best supporting character and she’s just the perfect breath of fresh air. I loved her so much.

A story of trying to let down walls and open your heart. A story of two people who needed one another and had to take a chance at a big love.

The way these two have my chest beating every interaction. Gosh, my heart just squeezes. The author has given us a truly romantic love story. And let me tell you the spice….its spicing! ❤️

Thank you to Author Kimberly Page and Love Notes PR for providing me with a copy of this book. All thoughts in this review are those of my own.

I love age gap/single parent romances, and love even more when they are well written. Kimberly Page did an amazing job creating a love story that was tested by many obstacles but prevailed in the end. I loved the build up of and Grant and Sophia’s relationship. They didn’t just jump straight into a relationship for various reasons such as their status’ in Hollywood; Sophia being a talented in demand actress and Grant being a successful, well-known movie executive. Another reason was due to the fact that Grant was the producer of Sophia’s upcoming movie and that Grant had a daughter he is very protective of when it comes to women in her life. Sophia is/was reluctant to start any relationship due to her history, and unwillingness to open herself up to heartbreak again. But the moment they decided their feelings meant more than these reasons and wanted to take their relationship to the next level… things got spicy! Grant knew exactly what he wanted and went after it and Sophia wanted to be with Grant in any way she could.

Sophia has endured a lot as she has been the spotlight for many years, and feels very jaded by a previous relationship. It was inspiring to watch her grow and learn to love herself in the process of opening herself up to love again with Grant. She bonded immediately with Grant’s daughter which was so heartwarming to read. She is incredibly brave and resilient - even through hardship she continues on. Grant wants Sophia so badly, however doesn’t want to bring someone into his and Hazel’s life who might walk away; opening himself to love isn’t worth the risk of heartache - until Sophia. His feelings toward Sophia and the need to take care of Hazel really battle themselves in his mind, he feels like he can’t have both - love and a family.

Grant and Sophia are two main characters that are so relatable. Both battling issues that seem normal to their past experiences and the environment in which they work/live. The supporting characters like Sophia’s friends, Grant’s sister and even Grant’s ex/Hazel’s mom were such positive influences for both Grant and Sophia. I loved that everyone was cheering these two on and supporting them as they took the risk to be with one another. The ending — oh my! Grant really put himself out there with the help of the supporting characters. This relationship has its ups and downs but is so worth it in the end!

Page did such an incredible job representing mental health, past trauma, and self doubt in regard to the effects that plays on new relationships. This story is an incredible read regarding self discovery, second chances, and opening yourself up to love even if you are scared. I loved that some of the most profound wisdom came from Grant’s daughter Hazel, she is a shining light in this book! The relationship that Sophia forms with her was insanely sweet!

Thank you so much to Love Notes PR and the author for the early copy of this book! This is my first book by Kimberly Page and I can’t wait to read more of her works!

“If she were mine, she’d know exactly how she’d be treated.” ~ Grant Hall

This was the perfect cute romance for a chilled weekend!
I loved Sophia and Grant's romance, and Hazel was the highlight of the book for me.
The romance was perfect, there was a slight comedy aspect when it came to the friendships which I liked. I loved the bonding between Sophia and Hazel, their relationship was one of my favourites in the book.

I enjoyed the pacing of the book, the story was nicely spread out across 47 chapters with the spice coming in towards the end of the book. It is very much a slow burn, which I loved, and I'm glad the spicy was only in the last chunk of the book because it meant we got lots more cute bonding moments with Sophia, Hazel and Grant.

In most single dad romances the birth mum is out of the picture completely, either dead or a deadbeat. Which is why I'm so glad that Hazel's mum Geneva is still in the pictures, she's a wonderful mum and has a great friendship with Grant makes time for calls with Hazel and visits her often. She also doesn't feel threatened by Sophia's relationship with Grant and Hazel she is one of the people rooting for them. I'm really glad Kimberly wrote Geneva like this as it made it really easy to like her.

Sophia spent a large chunk of the book having to prove to everyone around her that she deserved to be sitting in the producer's chair, that she worked hard and had earned the success she had.
Kimberly wrote it in such an amazing way and really highlighted how big the difference in treatment towards men and women in Hollywood is.

I loved that Grant's biggest hill to climb was that he was worthy of Sophia's love. He'd spent so much time protecting his heart and Hazel by keeping everyone but those whom he trusted most at arm's length. So when he finally opened up to Sophia and let her in it took a while for him to realise that he deserved her love. I loved how Sophia didn't push him, she took it slowly and gave him space when needed.
I also loved that Hazel was the complete opposite of Sophia and wasn't afraid to tell Grant when he was being stupid.

Overall I loved this book and will be keeping an eye out for Kimberly's next release.

If anyone stole the show in Center Stage, it wasn’t Hollywood’s newest power couple—it was Hazel. Let’s be honest, Grant and Sophia were just living in her world, hahahaha. Kimberly Page delivers a swoony romance with sizzling chemistry, heartwarming family moments, and the kind of Hollywood drama that keeps you hooked.

Sophia Ford is an Oscar-winning actress stepping behind the camera for the first time, determined to prove she’s more than just a pretty face. Grant Hall, a powerful industry studio exec, is all business—until Sophia moves into his guesthouse and upends his carefully controlled life. Their slow-burning connection builds into something undeniable, but like everything in Hollywood, their secret doesn’t stay hidden for long.

Grant’s biggest battle isn’t the media—it’s believing he’s worthy of love again. Watching him let his guard down was everything. And Sophia? Fierce, ambitious, and constantly fighting to be taken seriously in an industry that makes women work twice as hard (a running theme we see carried over from book one in this series, and one that I AM SO HERE FOR). I was rooting for her every step of the way.

And Hazel? The MVP. Her bond with Sophia was pure magic, and I loved that her mom, Geneva, wasn’t just used as a jealous ex, instead just a solid example of a healthy co-parenting relationship. We love seeing healthy adult relationships while building a blended family.

Tropes you’ll love:
🎬 Single Dad
🎬 Age Gap
🎬 Forced Proximity
🎬 Workplace Romance

Center Stage is a slow-burn, heartwarming romance that blends Hollywood glitz with real emotional depth. At its core, it’s a love story between Sophia Ford, an Oscar-winning actress turned producer, and Grant Hall, the powerful, stoic studio exec—and devoted single dad. But what truly sets this book apart is how it handles its tropes: age gap, forced proximity, workplace romance, and the ever-enticing single dad dynamic—with maturity, charm, and a refreshing dose of realism.

Sophia and Grant’s chemistry is undeniable, but the story doesn’t rush their connection. Their relationship builds slowly, filled with tension, tenderness, and stolen moments that make the eventual payoff deeply satisfying. Grant’s daughter, Hazel, is the true scene-stealer. Her vibrant personality, quick wit, and genuine bond with Sophia add so much heart to the story.

Another highlight is how co-parenting is portrayed. Geneva, Hazel’s mother, isn’t sidelined or villainized. Instead, she’s present, supportive, and layered, bringing a grounded, mature element to the narrative. It’s a rare and welcome approach that adds depth and realism to the story.

The writing is witty and emotionally rich, striking a balance between Hollywood drama and quiet, intimate moments. While fame and paparazzi are ever-lurking, it’s the personal struggles—balancing ambition, trust, and vulnerability—that truly drive the story forward.

Perfect for fans of thoughtful romance, lovable kids, and behind-the-scenes drama, Center Stage earns its place in the spotlight. With characters you’ll root for and a story that stays with you, this one’s a five-star performance.

Sophia won an Oscar aged 24. Aged 25 she’s producing her first film. Grant is the studio exec that’s given her that chance. Both are committed to keeping things professional, ignoring the connection between them and avoiding relationships. But they can’t. As they grow closer and lines are crossed and blurred, will they follow their hearts and give love a chance or will they bow down to media pressure and end things before they’ve really begun, to protect both Sophia’s career and Grants daughter?

Urgh, I loved this book so much! I love this whole series already and this is only book 2!! Grant is just the perfect man- good career, committed, a good dad, good in bed and hot! What more could you want! But seriously, I loved every second of this book. I love the insights into the behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, the ups and downs of the relationship brewing and, of course, all the spicy goodness! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Spice: 🌶️🌶️

This was a fun, quick read where I was happy to just be a long for the ride. Sophia and Grant were both hurt by their past in different ways. And it was really great to see them both overcome their own obstacles to learn that love is scary, but in a good way. By the end I was kicking my feet at Grant's declaration of love and saying "FINALLY" as loud as I could without waking my sleeping toddler.

I can't wait to go back to Hollywood for Jess and Lucas's story!

Thank you Kimberly Page and Love Notes PR for an ARC of this book!

"It's like everything I was so afraid of losing becomes worth the risk. Because losing you?" My voice roughens. "That's the only thing I can't survive."

This was a charming single dad story. It was a nice shot from the usual single dad/nanny trope that tend to dominate the book world. I liked how Sophia was an accomplished woman. She wasn't meek and didn't usually let everyone walk all over her. While she did come off as a people pleaser, she still was trying to hold her own in a male dominated workplace.

Grant, was a whole other story. I loved his devotion to his daughter Hazel, but his whole insistence than Sophia had alterior motives and purposefully was getting close to Hazel was a bit much. I also felt that Geneve, while another strong female role model, helped show an amazing coparenting situation, she did come off as unnecessary when Grant and Sophia's conflicts could have used her.

Overall, it was a cute story and opened up for other amazing stories from this author.

Unfortunately this just wasn't the book for me, but that's not to say that it was bad either! I was excited starting the book, the writing is great, it was just lacking romance for me??? I liked the beginning, where there's a lot of romantic tension and it's just bubbling up and it's exciting, like having a crush, but then the middle just goes through a bunch of time jumps, and it jumps over the romance. It goes from finally getting together, to 'and after a few weeks we've fallen into a comfortable routine', to having issues again in the next chapter. Where's the comfortable routine? Tell me more! The book overall was full of spice, but had continuous back and forth "he loves me, he loves me not" vibes with the only glue of the relationship being his daughter.

Overall I would say that if you're looking for an easy spicy read (and from both perspectives) with forced proximity, then I would recommend you Center Stage, but if you're looking for a more fun and sexy romance, then this maybe isn't your next read.

I completely and utterly loved this book.

Y'all, it was my first Hollywood romance, and I'm completely besotted, I definitely need more of these in my life. We get to meet Sophia, a young up-and-coming actress who is producing her first movie, and the dazzling studio head, Grant, a single dad to a 6-year-old with an alarmingly good co-parenting strategy and no social life.

These two are just so lovely. I love romance novels where it feels like the character struggles are realistic and believable, and I could genuinely see why Sophia and Grant were so worried about starting a relationship. Everything felt really genuine and real, and their concerns were valid. That being said, it's still an HEA, but the character development is fantastic because of this.

Genuinely, this book was absolutely fantastic. The setting was stunning and it was really visual, and the writing blew me away. I'm immediately going back and reading the rest of the authors books!

Thanks so much to Love Notes PR and the author for this ARC! The book comes out TOMORROW!!!

4.5⭐️/ 4🌶️ What a sweet story. And I can’t wait to read the first book, and then the rest of the series when they are released.
Set in the glamorous world of red carpets and film-making, comes a down-to-earth story of two people who have fought against love, relationships, trust, and all that comes with that… out of fear of heartbreak, due to things from their respective pasts. But Sophia and Grant are undeniably drawn to each other, and despite their best efforts of fighting that unspoken connection, they decide to give themselves a “timeline” to allow themselves to give in… even if just for a short time.
I loved how sweet they were with each other, the unbelievable and spicy chemistry… and the absolutely laugh-out-loud, adorably hilarious moments with little Hazel (Grant’s daughter). She was my favorite character to be honest.
This story had me laughing, kicking my feet, swooning & falling in love (and lust). Hahaha. Such a cute, sexy, funny, easy romance read!!! Love ❤️

I really enjoyed this book. Sophia and Grant were both great characters, and little Hazel was adorable. I’m not sure all kids her age are as precocious, but it worked in the book and provided quite a bit of comic relief from the romantic drama her dad was involved in. Sophia is an A list actress and Grant is the studio head who has agreed to make her latest film, a movie she is both starring in and producing. The glimpse into the working side of Hollywood was brief but intriguing and overall the story flowed well and kept me interested. My only complaint would be that I wasn’t thrilled with the age of the characters. I thought both characters would have been more interesting, and more believable, if they had both been at least ten years older. I’m not sure why authors seem to gravitate to writing such young female characters, but it seems to be the norm, sadly. Aside from that pet peeve I really did like the book and will be checking out the rest of the series. Recommended.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kimberly Page delivers a delightful and steamy romance with Center Stage, a novel that perfectly balances heartwarming chemistry with irresistible passion. The connection between the two main characters is undeniable, making their romance feel effortlessly natural—almost as if it was written in the stars.

From the very first page, the story draws readers in with its engaging characters and captivating dynamic. The romance unfolds beautifully, with just the right amount of tension and buildup to keep you eagerly turning the pages. And for those who love a bit of spice, this book certainly delivers, adding an extra layer of excitement that makes it impossible to put down.

With its perfect blend of charm, passion, and sizzling romance, Center Stage is a must-read for fans of steamy love stories. Kimberly Page crafts a tale that is both fun and deeply satisfying, leaving readers swooning until the very last page.

After winning an Oscar at 24, now at 25, Sophia decides to step behind the camera to produce her first film. Then enters Grant, the studio exec who believes in her talent enough to give her this shot. They’re both determined to keep things professional, ignoring the undeniable chemistry between them. But resisting is easier said than done. As they grow closer, boundaries blur, and for the first time, they each feel seen in a way no one ever has before. But with the weight of Hollywood’s scrutiny pressing down on them, will they risk everything for love, or will they walk away before it even begins. Grant is the ultimate book boyfriend, he's successful, devoted, an incredible father, smoking hot, and let’s just say… he knows exactly what he’s doing. But beyond the steam, this story is about connection, the kind that makes you feel truly seen. The behind-the-scenes look at Hollywood was fascinating, the romance was electric, and the emotional depth had me hooked.

This was my first Kimberly Page book, and I LOVED it—4.5/5 stars!

Sophia and Grant were amazing, but Hazel? She definitely ran the show, she kept everyone in check, especially her dad.

Sophia’s journey hit hard! She had to constantly prove herself in an industry that still favors men, and I loved how the book leaned into that. Meanwhile, Grant’s struggle was more internal, realizing he could open his heart again. Watching him slowly fall was emotional and so rewarding.

The pacing was perfect! Slow but natural, making their connection feel real. And I LOVED how Geneva (Hazel’s mom) wasn’t the stereotypical bitter ex. She was successful, present, and had a healthy co-parenting dynamic with Grant.

The Hollywood backdrop was fascinating, especially the commentary on industry double standards. Overall, this book was emotional, mature, and so worth the read!

Thank you Love Notes PR and Kimberly Page for providing me with this ARC and in exchange for an honest review!

First of all, thank you Kimberly Page and Love Notes PR for the ARC of Center Stage. I was also an ARC reader of the first book of the series, Second Act.

Center Stage follows Oscar award-winning actress Sophia Ford and top studio executive Grant Hall as they navigate working together for the first time and starting a new relationship neither of them claims to want (initially). What I really enjoyed about this book is how the story portrays strong women supporting other women in a male-dominated industry, Sophia as a FMC, and many of the side characters, particularly Grant's daughter, Hazel. What nudges the book down from five stars to four for me is how much an otherwise likable Grant annoyed me so much a couple of times toward the end of the book.

In my opinion, this book can be read as a stand-alone, but having read Second Act first gives you some backstory and knowledge of most of the characters, which will enhance the reading experience.
