During his time in America Paramahansa Yogananda gave hundreds of talks, most of them before the advent of sound recording. But his secretaries (principally Daya Mata) took stenographic notes and later transcribed them.
This fourth volume of his collected talks reveals more of his Indian devotional side with numerous mentions of the goddess Kali, which I do not recall him mentioning explicitly in the previous books. If you're new to his writings, I suggest you begin with Autobiography of a Yogi. If you're already familiar with Paramahansa Yogananda and have read Man's Eternal Quest, The Divine Romance - Collected Talks and Essays. Volume 2, Journey to Self-Realization, then you are going have greater appreciation for Solving the Mystery of Life: Collected Talks & Essays on Realizing God in Daily Life Volume IV.
