Naomi Porter, author of the popular Knight's Legion MC series, has joined up with 30 of your favorite MC romance authors to bring you the Kings of Anarchy MC, a shared world where the Kings rule in chaos, and the open road is our Kingdom. She’s all work and no play. No time for love. He just found his reason for living, again.
They call me GQ, short for Gideon Quick. I’m the Road Captain for the Kings of Anarchy MC in N. California, but I haven’t been on my hog since a garbage truck ran me over. I’m all jacked up mentally and physically.
The Bratva Pakhan is running an illegal mail-order bride business and women are disappearing. The Kings will catch that bastard and end him. Not me, though. I don’t have it in me because of my limitations. Pathetic, right? I’m at my lowest point when an old friend from high school appears, like an answer to prayer.
Kelly Lloyd isn’t the tomboy I remember. She’s all grown up—gorgeous and curvy in all the right places. Sparks ignite between us, and we spend the night together. But between twelve-hour shifts at the hospital and raising her younger brother, Kelly’s running on empty. Mistakes are made. My sassy girl is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I’m grateful to have a second chance. Kelly and her brother are my found family. They’re mine to protect.
Property of GQ is book 3 in the Kings of Anarchy N. California chapter and can be read as a standalone.

This compelling novel centers on GQ, whose life is turned upside down after suffering a severe injury in an accident orchestrated by the MC’s enemies. Faced with overwhelming physical and emotional challenges, GQ struggles to adjust to his new reality. The story poignantly explores his journey through despair, resilience, and self-acceptance.
During this difficult time, GQ reconnects with Kelly, a childhood friend. Now a compassionate nurse, Kelly is uniquely positioned to understand GQ’s struggles and support his healing process. However, Kelly is not without her own burdens—she, too, is grappling with personal challenges.
As GQ and Kelly lean on each other, their friendship deepens and blossoms into a heartfelt romance. Together, they find solace and hope in one another. The novel beautifully illustrates how love, empathy, and mutual support can help wounded souls find healing and happiness together.
Overall, this story is a touching portrayal of overcoming adversity, rediscovering connection, and the power of love to heal even the deepest wounds.
Too short. Lots of spelling errors and missing words. Chapter 15 should have been titled Kelly, instead it says GQ. He keeps important information from her, she semi finds out, he doesn’t share much and then things go down. We don’t find out what happened to the missing prospect. They don’t spend enough time together, they don’t share enough book space with her brother - which is a big deal since she wants her next man to accept him too. They only hook up in the truck or shower. The dramatic scene you wait the whole book for is so dang fast and over shortly after it began. You don’t see which women they rescued. She never tells GQ about the missing nurses, which is a big deal. But we never find out what happened to them or the bookstore employee of one of the old ladies. I feel like the first book was a lot better and had better details. This could have been better had it been expanded upon and better editing.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I think GQ is my favorite so far. GQ and Kelly have a past together; they were best friends during their school years. Kelly was a tom boy in her younger years and when GQ sees her again for the first time in years, he can't get over how much she has changed. Kelly has grown into a beautiful woman and GQ knows he wants to make her his. Kelly recently lost her parents and now is the legal guardian for her younger brother. Kelly's little brother is infatuated with the MC and Kelly is worried if she has a relationship with GQ, it would affect her brother in a negative way. Can GQ convince Kelly he isn't the man for her while also showing her a side to the club that is about family?
This is a must read and as I said, my favorite in the series so far. Take a chance and read it today.
When nurse Kelly Lloyd is called to take care of a woman at the Kings of Anarchy MC clubhouse, she never imagines she’d run into an old friend from high school. GQ remembers Kelly fondly, and soon their relationship is heating up.
Tropes:
•Motorcycle Club Romance •Friends to Lovers •Heroine in Danger •Alpha Male •Possessive Hero •Black Cat Heroine
Property of GQ is a fun and entertaining novella. It’s a quick and enjoyable read. Kelly is working all the time and taking care of her younger brother Kevin. GQ is recovering from an accident that left him with a lot of trauma. The two bring each other back to life.
I recommend this fun read. Read it and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!
I have been waiting for this book for a while, and I am glad to see it out in the world. I love being back with the Kings of Anarchy MC and reading the emotional story of GQ, Gideon, the club's road captain, and Kelly, a nurse brought into the club to help a member's woman. As I turned the pages, my heart broke for GQ and his struggle recovering from a near-fatal accident a year ago. In walks Kelly, the girl from his past, a best friend from high school that he lost touch with. Both of their past dealt with tragedy but in very different ways. GQ has been struggling and having Kelly back in his life has changed him 180, taking him from a dark place to one of happiness and love. She is just what the doctor ordered for GQ to find himself again.
GQ is still defeated about his recovery and at a crossroads about what to do about it. While setting at clubhouse he sees a face he hasn’t seen since high school, amazed at how she looks now he decides he wants to know more. Being a nurse has brought Kelly to check on one of the old ladies that was drugged. Getting to re know Kelly is something GQ wants to do and sets out to make that happen. There is a trafficking problem in town and he wants to protect Kelly but is not there when he is needed, luckily her little brother sees what is happening and contacts GQ. Love the story of how a strong tomboy can heal a rough biker.
Property Of GQ is Gideon (GQ) and Kelly's story. GQ is having a hard time getting back on track after an accident and an old friend coming back into the picture is just what he needs to get him straight. GQ and Kelly grew up together and after tragedy struck Kelly's family she moved away. Moving back home the last thing she expected was finding her old friend again. Both of these characters have been through quite a lot in their lives and finding familiarity after all this time may just be what makes them whole again.
This yet another great addition to the Kings of Anarchy MC: N. California Book 3 this Property of GQ and the story of the Road Captain GQ and he has recently had a bad accident that has left him depressed and broken & extremely lost since the accident he can only feel like he is alone & he thinks the club doesn't need him. But at his lowest time in walks Kelly someone from his past that gives him a reason not to give up on himself, but he has his work cut out for him cause her life is her brother and work.
GQ & Kelly: loss, grief, child abandonment, sex trafficking. this was a really short book but good all the same. there are a few spelling and grammatical errors but nothing that messes up how the book reads. GQ is the road captain who is unable to ride after an accident and Kelly is a nurse raising her brother after her parents death. the two come together when Kelly is called to the club to help Cassie and GQ is suddenly realizing, he knows her and is definitely interested. the book is mildly hot but good.
Two friends come back together, out of the blue; GQ sees Kelly has changed - she has an occupation to be proud of, parental figure for her younger brother -she has a lot of responsibility. Kelly is not the same ‘tomboyish’ girl she was when they were younger, but, he’s grown up too. They spend an explosive night together, and this starts off the charts chemistry.
There is danger lurking around town, girls/women are missing - a Russian bratva has come to the area; trouble for all, the MC steps in.
Another great in the Kings of Anarchy series! Naomi Porter brought a creative story with plenty of the MC and strong characters. This story was original. There is a great back story for GQ and Kelly. I enjoyed how there was character depth and vulnerability. This was a quick read with likable characters and some we have seen before. It was great to see characters from previous books and find out where they are now. I am looking forward to see what is next in the KOAMC world!
This is a gritty MC romance with a wounded hero and high stakes.
GQ, a broken Road Captain after an accident with a garbage truck, feels sidelined while his club hunts a dangerous trafficking ring, but his world shifts when Kelly, an old friend turned overworked nurse, reappears.
Their chemistry is strong, and the found-family vibe adds to it.
This is dark, emotional, and fast-paced, a fantastic second chance romance.
Property of GQ is book 3 in the Kings of Anarchy MC: N. California, written by the talented author Naomi Porter. This book is a great addition to a great series. This is Gideon Quick aka "GQ" and Kelly Lloyd story. She's a gorgeous and curvy nurse and he's the Road Captain for the Kings of Anarchy MC in N. California. From the start, chemistry, spice, suspense, family and drama. Highly recommend this book.
A great read, I absolutely loved GQ and Kelly’s story ❤️❤️❤️ After his accident GQ had a long road to recovery, not being able to ride his bike and enjoy other activities put his mental health on a downward spiral. Kelly helped him change all that. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
I was surprised how badly this was written. Story was great but this book needs a lot of editing. some things were to understand what they were writing. I don't remember any of their books being like this one.
Howeve4 what happemed to cphapter 13 and 14. Thesehad author notes as to what chapter wax about but turn tbe page to next chapter. Tbis tuined a good bpok for me. I kmow it happems, we get a hilding copy.
I really enjoyed this book about GQ and Kelly. The only complaints I have is that I wished it was longer and it should of been proofread better. It has a lot of errors and one chapter had the wrong name. I really like this authors books so I will keep reading them.
Giving this 3 stars in generous. I usually enjoy this author's work, however this was horrendous. The whole thing felt rushed, things just happened, the dialogue was cringe worthy. Top that with a book that has clearly never been proof read or edited.
The story, in and of itself, was good, but the errors! Oh! The plethora of errors. There were words in sentences that were mixed up and didn't make sense, wording very off, and all of the typos; make it very hard to read.
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their family and friends 🩷 and Naomi Porter is an amazing writer 🩵
Yikes, I’m embarrassed I finished this book. Super cringy dialogue with the H sounding like a chick half the time. Apparently no proofreading was done as well.
