Such a Good Story!!
Can’t believe I have to wait until next year to read the 2nd story. 😩😩😩😩 I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Loved the characters and storyline so much. Tanis and Barrett were both strong characters. Never a dull moment in this book. The fact that he saved those he could and the loss of those that didn’t make it was tough on him. I hope that the general and Dr. levy gets their comeuppance in the 2nd book. This story leaves us hanging. 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜😊😊😊

When a greedy general found receipt to making super soldier, he used everything to achieve his goal. He uses good soldier n his sick experiments and when it fails, he found another ones.
One of them escapes him, and the general is desperate. No hunter is able to catch him, so he hires the best huntress.
Tanis want to get the job done and return home. But this wolf is different. When he changes into human and tells her his story, she wants to help.
Can Barrett trust her? And how can they escape someone, who held all the power in his dirty hands?

That took some turns that I did not expect! But that just meant I was glued to the story, wondering how it would play out, and if and how our MC’s come together, and how they get on with what needs to be done. The bad guys here are, well, bad and not at all nice, doing horrible things with dire consequences. The good buys are more grey, they need to be to survive what they are facing. A great series starter that has me hooked and I cannot wait for more!

At first the story was a bit hard for me to get into. When Tanis arrived at the compound the book came alive. Lots of action and a couple of twists that caught me by surprise.
