Love is a thread that weaves through our lives, sometimes slipping unnoticed between moments, other times pulling us forward in ways we don’t yet understand. It’s a quiet force, often mysterious, but always present. Daniel Harrow never expected his life to change. A man of routine, he found comfort in the familiar—the rhythm of everyday life, the small rituals shared with his wife, the quiet moments that defined their years together. But life, like love, is never as simple as we expect.
This is a story about what happens when love is not something we possess, but something we allow to transform us. It’s about the quiet courage to move forward, to let go of the past, and to embrace the future with open arms. Because love doesn’t live in the moments we expect—it’s in the spaces between, the quiet growth, the discovery of what we can become.
Although short, this book is a good solid read. It takes you on a grief journey without feeling like a grief journey, and sprinkles in a beautiful story to boot. I was bawling for the last few chapters! There are a few hitches in the story that got me which is why this won’t be given a five star by me. I would still highly recommend to anyone who has dealt with grief or anyone that just wants a good, quick read that pulls at the heartstrings.
