Where do we go when we die?
Death’s mystery-Theories abound on what happens to us when we die. A covert unit of mercenaries backed by a powerful but shadowy organization has been sent out to investigate one of these mysteries. Masterminded by a wealthy rogue scientist, their objective, search for an already dead man known as Craig Buchanan.
Their search takes them to a location that doesn’t exist on any known map. They call it the Vale.
However, the Vale has a mind of its own with deadly secrets that lead to a flawed yet not completely failed first attempt. Proof of Buchanan’s existence is confirmed.
A new tactic is employed. A decision is made to lure the reluctant quarry out of hiding. A second uniquely skilled team is sent back into the Vale to continue the search. But Buchanan doesn’t want to be found.
Buchanan investigates the new search team from a distance but this time things are different. He feels a connection drawing him to one of the new team members. She is the link to a series of fragmented memories from his life before the Vale.
