She hid in shadows to survive. Now she belongs to one.
For three years, Nova has played a dangerous game—hiding her omega status while working as a translator for the Shadow Dominion. Specialized suppressants and careful planning have kept her secret safe, allowing her to gather vital intelligence for the human resistance.
Until Lord Kael Nightshadow catches her scent.
Standing nearly seven feet tall with midnight-black skin that absorbs light and four powerful arms that could break her in an instant, the high-ranking shadow demon enforcer sees through Nova's chemical deception during a chance encounter after curfew. Her capture is swift and absolute.
Claimed against her will during her first true heat in years, Nova's body betrays her with shameful pleasure as Kael's prehensile anatomy reaches places no human ever could. When his seed takes root with unprecedented success, creating visible shadow patterns beneath her skin, both captor and captive face a new reality—one where their connection transcends mere biological imperative.
As Nova's pregnancy progresses, she develops abilities no human omega should possess. The shadows speak to her. They bend to her will. And they reveal truths about both sides of the war that challenge everything she believes.
When the resistance plans to "rescue" her by terminating her hybrid child and the Shadow Sovereign demands her transfer to a breeding facility for research, Nova must make an impossible choice. Fight for a freedom that might cost her child's life, or embrace the shadow demon who started as her captor but might be the only one who can protect what they've created together.
Shadow's Claim is the third book in the sizzling hot Prime Omegaverse Series! Each novel features a different monster alpha and the human omega who becomes their unlikely mate. Contains explicit scenes of claiming, breeding, and prehensile... ahem. Happily ever after guaranteed!
Sweet and steamy is my thing! I just love when a hero is gentle, passionate, and protective with his heroine. It makes me melt inside. As a reader, I’ve especially come to love monster romance novels, but I couldn’t find enough that scratched that itch. So I decided to start writing!
If you love my books, please let me know by emailing allegrarosebooks@gmail.com. And be sure to leave me some reviews! I’d love to have your support. Thank you so much for reading.
In a world rebuilt by conquest and ruled by alien Primes, survival means hiding what you are. Nova (h) has done just that, passing as a beta while secretly working for the human resistance. But when powerful alpha Shadow Enforcer Kael (H) uncovers her true omega nature, her life collapses into a brutal new reality of forced claiming, psychic invasion, and biological betrayal.
As her body begins to bond with Kael against her will, Nova learns she’s pregnant with a rare hybrid child. Both the Dominion and the resistance want to control or destroy the baby. Surrounded by threats, she must navigate shifting loyalties, unlock new abilities, and confront the growing connection to the one she once feared most. Together, Kael and Nova fight for a future shaped not by dominance, but by choice.
Their relationship begins in violence and control but shifts into something more layered. Nova evolves from defiant captive into a woman choosing her own path. Kael moves from enforcer to protector, risking everything for a family he never expected, willing to defy his own hierarchy. Their bond, once built on force, becomes something chosen.
A dark, steamy, monster-filled omegaverse sci-fi romance with heat, claiming, breeding, noncon and dubcon elements. Exploring love, connection, identity, transformation, resistance, family, consent, change, and the fight to define yourself in a world where biology decides your fate.
More interesting than book two about the Naga dude. Same poorly edited writing, same brain numbing repetitiveness. The forgetfulness this author must have to repeat details in multiple chapters as if introducing them for the first time boggles my mind. Three books, two fully read and all have followed the same path. If not for such poor editing these stories would be far better imo.
Otherwise, I did enjoy this more than I expected. Not much, and not as much as book one. It was more intriguing but still carried that distinct aloofness to the storytelling and MCs where everything felt disconnected. The way shadow demons saw the world and interpreted life with as scientific value had the same effect as book two had on me by removing all feeling from the story and the connections between the MCs.
And while I did like Kael, and appreciated that we eventually saw some sort of emotion from him I still wasnt satisfied.
Nova Hayes is an omega hiding in plain sight as a translator in the courts of the Shadow demon domain, but when her chemical suppressors fail at the wrong time, she is trapped and claimed by enforcer Lord Kael Nightshadow. In an instant, Nova is stripped of her identity as a secret human resistance fighter and becomes an unwilling captive. After Kael claims her by force, she’s horrified to learn she’s pregnant with their hybrid offspring. However, as time passes, she becomes protective of the hybrid, especially after its unusual development catches the attention of those who would seek to use it as a lab experiment. The child’s unprecedented shadow powers are Nova’s and Kael’s only chance at saving the little family they’ve become. Can the three-way bond they share be their salvation?
I am stunned by the author’s imagination in this series. She somehow creates entirely new worlds that are fascinating but not bogged down with data. It feels like readers learn organically as the story progresses — instead of information dumping, each new nugget of info is given when needed. The character growth feels authentic as well. Over time, Nova realizes the one-size-has-to-fit-all ethos of the human “purist” movement she dedicated her life to no longer aligns with her changing worldview. This shift is gradual, and there are moments when she questions the new beliefs she’s forming. Her feelings for Kael and the hybrid are ever-changing and evolving as well. Kael undergoes a transformation as from harsh, unfeeling captor to protective partner and father. Admittedly, I was hoping they’d fall in love — despite his species apparently not being capable of that emotion — but at least they share a deep affection and mutual respect by the end. Nimara was precocious and sweet, and the epilogue was nicely spicy 🌶️.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Certain areas, such as the claiming/heat, felt overlong and repetitive. There were some continuity issues and missing words, but nothing that ruined the story for me.

When the dimensions opened 10 years ago, the world would become very different. Creatures never seen before arrived and made their demands known. These “Primes” wanted ownership of all omega females for their mating needs and the elimination of alpha males who might compete for breeding rights. Needless to say, the females did not all desire to become the breeding property of monsters, so special suppressants were developed to keep them safe from being identified as omegas. Nova Hayes has been hiding her omega status as she works for the Shadow Dominion as a translator. This position enables her to gather information for the human resistance. But one day, Lord Kael Nightshadow, a high-ranking shadow demon enforcer, catches her scent and her life will change. He claims her immediately and impregnates her and something startling occurs. Shadows speak to her! They also reveal information to her about both sides of the war, where she finds out truths that neither side wants revealed.
Instead of the resistance rescuing the pregnant females, they are being totally eliminated -- the same fate that will probably await her. Of course the resistance will tell her they want to “rescue” her, which would more than likely be the worst thing that could happen with the probability that her child would be terminated and she would be experimented on “for her own good”… or killed outright. Will she get a choice about her own fate? The aliens would no doubt put her in a breeding facility. And she already thought about the “choices” she would get from humans. As they had been examining intelligence reports, she saw the coded words for an extraction… and “purification” where no one survives. As she realizes they will consider her contaminated and she will be killed, alarms go off as the resistance starts their attack -- and Lord Kael tells her he knows they are coming specifically for HER. Will trusting Lord Kael to protect her and their child be the best option for their survival? Or is it too late now to decide?
SHADOW'S CLAIM is the third book in the Prime Omegaverse series and this one takes place in the Shadow region - surprise!
Nova is an omega who hides her scent by chemical means, knowing if she is discovered, it means either being claimed or being sent to a breeding facility - neither of which sound like much fun. Kael is an enforcer with a bad reputation that is well deserved, who has had Nova in his sights for a while now. However, when her chemical suppressants fail, everything changes.
I enjoyed the world-building in this story and would like to see where the story arc is going. BUT I would suggest another run through by an editor. There were way too many repeated paragraphs, descriptions, and specific words. I lost count of how many times this was used in the story, but basically, every use of the words tongue and c0ck was preceded by prehensile. Every. Single. Time! So, yes, although the story was a good one, the repetition of certain words, where he was putting his hands, where her marks were, how he stroked her cheek in a gentle caress that was different to how they had first met... it took some of the enjoyment of the story away for me.
Also, this is a dark romance with Dub-Con, so if this is a trigger, please be warned.
A great ending that suggests plenty more to come. Plus, I hope we get to know Nimara and Briar in more detail. If you like dark romance and can cope with repetition, then I recommend this story. 3.5 stars rounded up.

For years FMC Nova Hayes has kept her Human omega status hidden with suppressants which has kept her out of breeding facilities in the Shadow Dominion. A court translator who also secretly works with the human resistance she is walking a tightrope that’s about to come down. The day she is scheduled to attend a trial for captured resistance fighters is the day her suppressants begin to fail, and it is none other than MMC Lord Kael Nightshadow the most feared demon enforcer who catches her changing sent. Shadow’s Claim is the third book of this series and a spicy Alpha/Omega conquest that resonates with primal intensity as Kael claims his prisoner under his conquest laws while extracting information about the resistance from Nova once her heat begins and she can no longer hold back from his alpha dominance. This was a hot one with a dirty talking demon and was throughly enjoyable if you are into the omegaverse genre. Kael is pretty clinical in his approach to Nova at first but it doesn’t take long for that to change as the story progresses to… MINE, EVERY. EXPLETIVE. INCH. OF. YOU! Nova becomes pregnant, the resistance wants her back, and her body begins taking on unusual shadow demon characteristics which makes her a prime target for shadow research. Enjoyed the writing and found the story engaging with imaginative world building around the shadow culture, intrigue, danger, suspense, emotion, enemies-to-lovers, and mate bonding, which all was a winning combination for a good read. Looking forward to where the author takes the reader next within the dominions and with who! HEA
Trigger warnings should be noted.

Nova, the female translator omega lead, has been using chemical suppressants to hide her status from the invading monsters and to help other omegas escape. When her suppressants fail in front of the alpha in charge of the territory, she’s terrified of the implications and only becomes more so as she realises he intends to use her lowered mental resistance during her heat to interrogate her.
Kael, the male alpha commander lead, intends only to claim Nova for convenience reasons. But that intention seems to blur the longer he keeps her with him. When Nova is found to be pregnant with his offspring, their relationship morphs into something more than captor and captive. And when the sovereign of the shadow creatures wants to take Nova from Kael to then remove their baby for experimentation, they need to escape. Now.
This story is female lead POV, and a highly erotic, dark dystopian omegaverse romance between a shadow male and a human female. I empathised with Nova’s resistance and fear at the beginning. I enjoyed the evolution from captor/captive to a more balanced relationship, as well as Kael’s apparently changing perspective on Nova and her importance to him as an individual. I enjoyed the erotic intimate scenes, though I did find that certain phrases became a little repetitive. I enjoyed the non-relationship plot and the active engagement of their baby in the proceedings. I am enjoying the evolution of the world the author is creating.

★”Your body tells truths your words hide, little omega."★
~ "Resistance is futile against compatible biology…You're mine now, little translator," Kael growls ~
Resistance operative Nova Hayes has worked undercover for the last three years as a registered beta translator, only to be tracked and then finally caught right when her own chemical suppressants were wearing thin - by none other than Lord Kael Nightshadow, the Shadow Dominion’s most feared enforcer and Prime alpha to boot, who claims her as his omega, using her biology against her to extract the information he needed. Everything she had worked for and every human she had worked with are now compromised with her capture, because Kael was not going to stop until he learns all her secrets. But soon their priorities will shift, because yet another greater prize will surface for those who hunger for more power and control in the territory, forcing them to make tough choices to ensure their high-stakes survival.
Rich worldbuilding, melding alien conquest with human omegaverse subjugation. Characters and storyline were intriguing, curious to read previous installments as well! Looking forward to more stories from this author!
This was well written and an exciting Omega story where two beings that are very different, come together to create a hybrid of the two of them. The story is a full one and there is a lot of heat! These two have a great back and forth and are in quite the battle for survival.
She is found out to be an Omega. He claims her for his own and she can't deny herself. She soon feels the effects of her true self. Just as she is trying to accept her new roles in life and this new male, trouble comes.
Terrible that people cannot accept and want to interfere in other people's happiness. Of course there was little time for that considering, but both were super steamy as he tried to get her to accept her role. She had every right to resist of course, but they have a great family and a great HEA. I loved the new friends! I do wish I felt more romance and none of the memories of her with another. The story is exciting and steamy and definitely entertaining.

An exciting, intriguing different monster story with 2 strong main characters who clash greatly but have to learn to come together as more than captor and captive to save the offspring they created against all odds. Nova has hidden for 3 yrs a fierce top member of the resistance using suppressants to hide her omega nature but they fail at the worst time. Kael has been watching nova for weeks trying to find out secrets regarding the resistance. When they offspring is at risk will they learn to look beyond their beginnings trust each other to save what's developing along with their child? And can they escape the danger that surrounds them on every side esp when they learn some very disturbing secrets. Read for yourself and find out. High spice emotion filled story of danger survival change and adaptation.

I thought I seriously enjoyed the first two books in the series, but I think the author had outdone herself with this one. The story takes place in the same universe, but in a different part of Earth that is ruled by Shadows. I love emotional rollercoasters and proverbial poop hitting the fan in my books and this one delivered on both accounts. There's plenty of monster shenanigans in between the covers to satisfy any thirsty readers and the story was compelling. Loved it. Can't wait for the next one in this series.

Premise and structure of the story is amazing! It has a good chance of being a 5 star with some good editing, and it is the only reason it got 3 stars and not 1.
Only thing that really made it hard to read was the CONSTANT repetition. We get it, his tongue and c@ck are prehensile, but every time you talk about those parts you don’t need to add prehensile before.
Also a lot of repetitiveness of situations going on. We got the backstory / explanation as to what was happening the first time, we don’t need to hear the exact same explanation each time the same thing happens.
Another epic read in this series. In this book we meet Nova, an omega hiding her status. She works as a translator while gathering intelligence. It's when scent is picked up by Kael, that her life changes. he captures her and breeds her against her will. Her body changes and her abilities reveal themselves. They are faced with her possible rescue and their ever-changing relationship around events unfolding. It has plenty of heat and plot that keeps you reading. Always enjoy this author's works. Nova's suppressants finish early and while she's trying to get home to get some more she is captured by Lord Kael Nightshadow who proceeds to work through her heat and then gets information about the human resistance. When she becomes pregnant things change and the twists keep happening. This series' world is fascinating!!! The characters are well written and the overall arc is intriguing. I can't wait for the next book in the series!.

loved it !! love this series !! love Nova and Kael... well... this is their story... a fast paced action packed drama... Nova is hiding in plain sight working as an translator and resistance fighter but, being an omega makes this so dangerous especially when they fail and enforcer Kael notices and captures her... she is now his.. and when her heat hits they make a baby... a very special baby... on that many will kill for.. they must protect their baby... can they ? so good !!!.

Look, if you're reading this for the smut, it's pretty hot, I won't lie.
That said, you also have to be aware that this isn't really a romance, the heroine is r*ped and forced to sleep with the lead multiple times while he tortures her for information. This is all done under the guise of "it's biology" but the hero's unforgiving / unrepentant personality really gave me the ick. They don't have much of a connection or anything in common to boot so the whole thing feels worse somehow.
This will probably be the last book of the series that I try to read.
A dark, dystopian omegaverse romance with high heat and intense power dynamics. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Nova’s fight for autonomy meets Kael’s brutal protectiveness in a dangerous world. The emotional arc builds well, though repetition in language dulls some scenes. A gripping ending teases more to come.
Nova has been so careful to keeping her secrets, but when her chemical suppressants fail her in the same room as Lord Kael Nightshadow . He intends to claim her and us her Omega heat to find out all her secrets. With her body betraying her and shadow under her skin. Kael faces enemies on all sides if her wants to keep his omega. This is a great read, strong characters and an excellent plot.

Book 3 of the Prime Omegaverse is a solid 4 stars from me. Human translator Nova hides her secrets, but her suppressants fail near Lord Kael Nightshadow, who plans to claim her and uncover her truths during her Omega heat. With her body and shadows betraying her, Kael must protect her from enemies. A compelling read with strong characters and a great plot.

This is a dark story that pushes the limits. It is set in the omega world, where the alpha takes what he wants, the omega, no matter what. With that said the reader should know what kind of world this is. This is the third story in the "Prime Omegaverse" series. This one follows the journey of Lord Kael and Nova. It is intriguing and interesting with some challenging decisions, ups, downs and suspense along the way.
Although this is a good book I did find some of it pretty repetitive which got a little bit annoying. Nova was a interpreter but she was also an Omega in hiding. Kael is a high-ranking prime. He captures her interrogates her and breeds her. His species is not supposed to develop feelings for the omegas. But once she becomes pregnant he develops feelings and the need to protect her even from his Superior.

This book had a great premise but a lot of seemed to be copy pasta. The intimate scenes were written the same with a word change here and there. If the same scenario happened it was written the same also with word changes. The book was ok and I liked the story but could have been written better.

The story is nice!!!! Pure fiction but I love the character development of the hero/heroine.The author tried to write the story in a way that we can still understand...

The post-Conquest world keeps developing with textures and politics, catching this particular couple in the middle of them. From forced claiming to a very different kind of HEA, I couldn’t put it down.

The third story in the Prime Omegaverse, Omega Nova and Lord Kael Nightshadow's story grabbed my interest and kept me turning pages. I enjoyed reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This Book 3 in The Prime Omegaverse Book Series has an interesting, short, fantasy, insta-love, Monster romance. It has a well-constructed world, unique characters and intriguing interactions. I cannot wait to read the next book.
Similar to the previous two books in the series, this story had some non/dub-con steamy scenes. There was some repetitiveness that I had to overlook but I did enjoy the story and plot overall.
