No Longer The Life-Changing Power of Simply Believing the Truth (Second Edition)
by Jacob Hotchkiss

⭐ A practical guide for believers who long to experience the promised power of the gospel in their lives
⭐ A profound theological reset for churches and Christians everywhere

📖

Many Christians are convinced they understand the gospel. They affirm grace, preach Christ, and quote Paul. Yet they still live burdened, striving, and quietly bound by things like sin, shame, mental illness, and spiritual fatigue. Why? Because while they’ve accepted the gospel as they've heard it, they don't properly understand key concepts that are the foundation for the spiritual life.

Hotchkiss argues that genuine believers don't lack passion, discipline, repentance, or sincerity—they lack clarity. Most Christians, even pastors and teachers, are trying to grow through partial truths, inherited assumptions, and well-meaning but powerless strategies. No Longer I provides the solution that has been hiding in plain sight.

Jesus said, "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32), and this book is meant to show you how. This is not behavior modification. It is not a call to try harder or do more. It is a theological reset for anyone ready to admit that what they’ve been taught isn’t producing the life Scripture describes.

Whether you’re weary of striving or simply hungry for deeper theological clarity, No Longer I delivers truth that is both soul-liberating and theologically rich.

🔍 What You’ll Discover

Your True Identity in Christ – What it means to be in Christ, and why it changes everything.
Grace vs. Law – Why most Christians are operating under works-righteousness without realizing it, and how to pursue righteousness without the risk of becoming legalistic.
How Faith Produces Obedience – How holiness flows from simply believing the truth, not trying harder.
Walking by the Spirit – A clear, practical way to live from your new nature rather than battling the old one.
The Gospel in Everyday Life – How these truths shape your prayer, relationships, emotions, and decision-making.

If you’ve ever sensed that something essential is missing in how the gospel is preached—or how it’s lived out—this book will help you find what’s been the simplicity and power of believing what God has already said.

It seems contrary to the evangelical faith in which I was raised to.

It seems contrary to the evangelical faith I was raised to. I still need to hear reliable theologians who will speak the same language.

Better understanding of God’s righteousness and justification!

I especially appreciate Jacob Hotchkoss’s discussion of the righteousness of God in us and the proper concept of justification in chapter 7. — Ed Florian
