A Widow's Wish

Rate this book
Two years. It’s been two years since that fateful afternoon when Emma’s gingerbread man came to life in the form of a tattooed lover and opened her eyes to the forbidden world of passion and lust. Even though their happily ever after ended far too soon, she hasn’t stopped baking recipe after recipe, trying to bring Cyn back.
Hands sore from sculpting dough and burnt from the ovens, her hopes dwindle with each inanimate cookie she crafts. Now, with her obsession transformed into a successful novelty bakery, Emma is at risk of losing it all when a conniving relation of her late husband threatens to claim her business as his own . . . and her along with it.
At last, just before time runs out, the magic awakens. But this time, Emma gets far more than she wished for. Can she stand the fiery heat or will she crumble under pressure?

Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for taking the time to read, A Widow's Wish! I never thought I'd write a spicy romance but after so many of you demanded more from Cyn and Emma after The Baker's Wife I had to! I hope it makes you laugh and sets the mood for...other activities!

The Baker's Wife is one of my favourite reads, and when I heard that there was a sequel coming, I pre-ordered it so fast.

Set 2 years after the ending of The Baker's Wife, we see Emma successfully running her bakery and attempting to recapture the Magic that made Cyn. Hyjinks, a new threat in the form of her late husband's nephew and Cyn's brother, make for a great sequel read.

Wow!!! This was the satisfying ending that I needed from “the bakers wife” with some added fun of course! If you love the idea of a reimagined version of the gingerbread man, that’s totally naughty and fun, you’ve got to read this duet!
