This book has a low reading level (3.9) but a high interest as it tries to appeal to older readers. My middle schoolers would enjoy it . . . Especially those who like animals and/or mysteries.

The book is very interesting and funny because there are animals in it.

I was so excited to read a story about s pet store and parrots. I love parrot, unfortunately, the writing was bad even for a children’s book. And the writer didn’t bother to do proper research on parrots. Making the main character sound like an idiot. ☹️
