Hiding In Plain Sight: The False Doctrines of Seventh-day Adventism Vol. I

Rate this book
“It is with incredible respect for this scrupulous work and the brilliant theologizing and apologetics of the author that I highly recommend Hiding in Plain The False Doctrines of Seventh-day Adventism Vol. I to absolutely every believer! It is high time that the global Christian community become aware of the true nature and teachings of Seventh-day Adventism and its prophetess Ellen G. White, and to finally recognize, as many Christian leaders and apologists have been so reluctant to do in the past, that this movement is indeed a cult, a bastion of heresy and heterodoxy, disguised as a Christian denomination.

Elce-Junior Lauriston, in a very perspicuous manner, has presented one of the hardest hitting and most devastating apologetic blows to SDA theology than any non-formal text currently available. His contrasts of SDA theology with the biblical Gospel not only equip believers to soundly refute the many false doctrines of SDAs, but they also help to deepen the believer’s understanding and appreciation for the finished work of Christ on the Cross and the assurance that we have of eternal life through faith in Jesus the Messiah. You’ll walk away with a profound thankfulness for the grace of God and knowledge of New Testament theology, along with an ex-insider’s expertise of what Seventh-day Adventists actually believe! May God use this insightful book to lead millions of SDAs into the knowledge of the truth, gospel clarity, and salvation!”- Damon Richardson, PhD candidate, founder of UrbanLogia Ministries , Georgia, USA; author of “The Nation of Islam” in Urban Restoring Black Dignity With The Gospel (2021).

“The SDA movement is an often misunderstood and overlooked threat to the propagation of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. E.-J. Lauriston has written a much needed work that not only exposes the ugly historical realities of how the movement initially emerged and developed, but also brings clarity to its glaring theological missteps. From page to page I found myself immersed in this accessible yet rigorous critique of a movement that is leading millions astray. This book is a game changer!”- Adam Coleman, founder of Tru-ID Apologetics Ministries , Richmond, VA, USA; author of “Black Atheism” in Urban Restoring Black Dignity With The Gospel (2021).

Hiding in Plain Sight is a scathing, well-researched polemic on Seventh-day Adventism. Thunder leaves no room for doubt that the SDA religion is biblically unsound and stands on the dangerously faulty foundation of Ellen White and her teachings. Prepare to be shocked, engrossed, and most importantly, well-equipped to help rescue those in bondage to this great deception. A most necessary apologetics resource.”- Richelle Bryan, M.A. in Christian Apologetics (Biola University), Apologetics in the City , NYC, USA.

“This is a great, eye-opening read! Elce-Junior “Thunder” Lauriston has written a comprehensive, thoroughly sourced volume that takes an honest look at the history, heterodoxy, cultic doctrines, and culture of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, along with its prophetess Ellen G. White. This volume should be required reading for all who are trapped in the intricate web of Adventism, those who are looking for real answers to their cognitive dissonance, and those desiring true rest and freedom in Our Lord Jesus.”- Stephen Baxter, Former Seventh-day Adventist , Virginia, USA.
