"For Eddie, the stakes are larger than possible defeat. The potential disappointment of heroes. It is the continuity- the promise- of Hellfire. It was a middle finger to the fear mongers who would judge him. A beacon that guided him when he needed sanctuary. A respite from a world that fights to press people into a convenient mold, whether or not it's the right shape."

This was such a good final volume, bringing both the end and beginning to a new era of the Hellfire Club. It was somewhat emotional with the teeny references and foreshadowing to S4 of Stranger Things, but at the same time that was what my angsty little heart was hoping for. The art style wasn't the greatest, and did feel a little bland towards the end, but nonetheless the story gave us a great insight into Eddie's introduction to D&D, and his role into becoming the dungeon master.
