This series was okay but the constant discussion about the level each character achieved was tiresome. And constantly introducing new "Paths", so of which were almost silly didn't help either. The story line was great and the character development was well thought out...just leave the gaming to the games and write the story.

So many inconsistencies in this series, it’s really starting to bother me. Book one featured the unbeast blood loot that somehow emptied and was never followed up with an explanation. End of book four had Leo’s nameless technique called Purifying Hand but now in Book 5 it’s Purity Wave?
