A dark paranormal romance series where vigilante meets divination. Twin meets flame. Past meets life. And revenge meets justice.
Since she was a kid, Sailor Monroe has been in love with Cameron Eden. He’s charming. Handsome. Her best friend Liv’s twin brother. And the only man to ever make her feel truly loved and protected.
That all changed when Sailor and Liv decided to visit Cam in New Orleans during her birthday weekend.
Turns out she was wrong.
So wrong.
Because the cunning and annoyingly attractive president of Cameron’s fraternity has brainwashed him into joining some dark, twisted cult.
Gone is the boy she thought she loved.
Heartbroken and betrayed, Sailor booked the next flight out, leaving New Orleans, Cameron, and him behind.
Nearly eight years later, and with no one else to turn to, Sailor finds herself at the entrance of Mystical Mayhem. Bleeding and completely terrified, she requests to see The Demons. An elusive group Liv told her to ask for help from if ever in trouble.
Not only did she end up selling her soul to the company that destroyed her life…
But to the devil himself.
Riot Black.
When all is not what it seems, will Sailor run into the arms of the man who is destined to protect her? The emerald-eyed, dark angel who sacrifices himself in every one of her dreams?
Or will she run the other way and burn in the flames of the dumpster fire she calls ‘life’?
Do you believe in past lives? What about love that transcends time and space?
Divination by Luna Everly is a paranormal romance that leans fully into fate, longing, and the pull of connections that refuse to stay buried. From the very beginning, this story invites you into a world where tarot, past lives, and emotional intuition shape every choice and every heartache.
Picture this: you have a gigantic crush, or maybe more than a fling, on your best friend, but he is hiding things. Add in his so-called “frat brother” who somehow manages to invade your dreams, desires, and subconscious at every turn. What do you get? Pure awesomeness from author Luna Everly, who knows exactly how to balance tension, mystery, and romance.
The way she captures the dynamic between the characters is genuinely impressive. Relationships feel layered and emotionally charged, with unspoken feelings and secrets simmering just beneath the surface. The action and intrigue pull you along effortlessly, and as the story unfolds, the twists and turns keep you guessing without feeling forced or overcomplicated.
There is a cooking scene, and that is all I will say about that without spoilers, that will have you kicking your feet and giggling, wanting more and more of the main character’s love story with every moment. There are also special cameos from characters in her other series that feel like a breath of fresh air. The way she connects the two is truly brilliant and adds depth without taking anything away from either story.
If you are reading for the romance, this book absolutely delivers and leaves you wanting more. If you are here for the metaphysical and paranormal vibes, it offers tarot, past lives, and spiritual elements woven naturally into the narrative. The only warning I can give with no spoilers is to have tissues ready, because this story knows how to pull on your emotional strings multiple times, but always in the best way.
My favorite part of the book is the setting, Mystical Mayhem. It is such an interesting and vivid place that I could honestly live there in my head, even without the characters. That setting alone feels magical and wonderful to read about. I am beyond excited to see what is next for Sailor, the FMC, and her Dark Angel, and I cannot wait for the next book.
