Tempting Love #1

Sweetest Sin

Rate this book
From USA Today bestselling author Nikki Ash comes a dark, secret baby romance …

Dominick

Flying commercial is the bane of my existence.
Until the fiery redheaded flight attendant with emerald eyes falls into my lap.
The spark between us is instant. And from the moment her body crashes into mine, I know I need more than just a few hours in the sky with her.
The next time our paths cross, she tells me she’s headed out of the country, and I don’t hesitate to make sure I’m on her flight.
Our time together is filled with a passion I didn’t know existed. And for a moment, I allow myself to imagine what it would be like if our temporary arrangement turned into forever.
Until a call in the middle of the night pulls me back to reality, reminding me that with the enemies I have, letting her get too close would make her my greatest weakness—one I can’t afford.
Four years later, fate intervenes. Because she’s back, serving drinks on my private flight, and she’s apparently been keeping secrets.
With one phone call, I learn she’s been raising my son while pretending I don’t exist.
Now, with my enemies closing in and our secret out, they’re both in danger, and I’m done playing this game her way.
She might not trust me, but I’ll stop at nothing to keep them safe—even if I have to drag her kicking and screaming into my world.

Please note: Sweetest Sin is not a mafia romance. I’ve never promoted it that way, and my graphics intentionally avoid that label. When Amazon shifted a category after reader reviews, I contacted them to fix it. The book is a dark romance because of its content. Buckle up for this one!

It's sexy, violent, and full of chemistry. It's also a one night fling that leads to a secret baby. There is organized crime and complicated families. There's an adorable little boy who will squeeze your heart. There's an obsessed hero, who never stops thinking about the heroine, and a mom who will do anything for her son. Even deny her own heart and fight tooth and nail.

Let's get the elephant out of the way, or the secret baby as it were. Our hero, Dominick is involved in a criminal family. It's not fully mentioned as a Mafia family, but the vibes are clear. So after our heroine Peyton discovers she's pregnant and thinks about reaching out to the hero, she overhears him carrying out some violent justice. She is from an abusive home, where she watched her father berate and beat on her mom for years. So she's not sticking around to find out Dom's reasons.

He also knows his life is dangerous. Which leads him to try to keep their fling a secret from his enemies and when he tries to reach out to her later on, he lets it go when she pushes him away.

Fast forward though, and they run into one another again. This time, he's in a new position where he has the power to protect her. So he's determined to find out more about her. And he discovers more than he could ever imagine.

The way he steps up and makes moves to bring Peyton and their son into his life is everything I wanted to see. He may be upset at her secret, but he can't deny that the reason he let her go, is the same reason she ran. His life is dangerous and he has enemies. But, he's not gonna leave her and his son alone now, so she's gonna see just how convincing he can be, when he pulls out all the charm.

Oh, and he kinda kidnaps her too.

Overall, this was a great read. It kept the story moving and I couldn't put it down. It wasn't overly long or drawn out like some stories of this sort are lately. It had the right amount of angst, chemistry, and conflict to balance the story.

I do think there were a lot going on, and though I didn't want it to be longer, I think we could have saved some of it for the romances that are coming in the series and focused more on this couple at times.

Part 1

2 ☹️☹️s

Well, I can’t say it’s was well written… 🤷🏻‍♀️
There were plenty of inconsistencies and repetitions.

The ending was somehow rushed and abrupt, despite having glimpses of the mcs’ future.

Dominick is stuck between a rock and a hard place in his life. He wants his father out of the picture in order to get rid of him in general after years of abuse and mindfucks but also to get rid of the two arranged marriages that are about to happen (his arranged marriage and his younger sisters).

He meets Peyton on a flight (she's a flight attendant) and after a little bit of flirting and back and forth they end up agreeing to spend one night together and when it happens, she wakes up without him and is sad but knows it's for the best.

On the other side we know why he left without a word as his father was killed by one of his business partners. He and his family are free from him, but they are dealing with a bigger problem with the son of the business partner having gone missing and the shit show he left behind.

Peyton finds out she is pregnant and goes to tell him but hears him basically killing someone and runs away as she never wants to be anyone or stuck to anybody that can be violent as her mother suffered in the hands of her father constant physical abuse for years and she swore she would not repeat that life.

He also accepts the fact that she deserves a better world and never finds her again despite never forgetting her.

We pick up the story 4 years later where she is working in the private flight he is taking, and he cannot believe that it is her. He thinks it's a sign and decides to never let her go but sadly things are coming to light. She wants to not being around him, but he refuses after never forgetting her. His brother tells him that Peyton's keeping a bit of a secret and it's in the name of Damien. His son.

Finding out she kept her pregnancy it enrages him (not to the point of no return) but he is upset and cannot believe she did this, but she explains her reasoning, and he promises to never be her worst fears.

It's hinted that neither of them was celibate during their separation, but it did not bother me as they both knew they could never be in the beginning.

Some side plot does back to bite him in the ass and cause some issues but Peyton and Dom make it work through it all.

They have sizzling chemistry and they both fall in love. They get married at the end and have twins boys.

I was lucky enough to pick up an advance copy from RARE. I got the discreet paperback and the artwork is truly beautiful. Each chapter heading page is gorgeous and I got an overlay which features the characters.

Dominick is the eldest son of a mafia family. He knows his place and it’s at the helm of his destiny. His father has already chosen partners for his children and Dominick is just trying to keep everyone happy. When he meets Peyton he knows she’s more than just a passing ship, but while he’s promised to someone else he can’t offer anything more than living in the moment.

Peyton has a lot going on. She works as an air hostess while looking after a sick relative. When she meets Dominick she knows he’s an important man.

These two have great chemistry but bad timing. Sweetest sin is the perfect mix of lust, sweet moments and hope for more.

I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for more in the series.

Sweetest Sin is the start of a new series, and it follows Dominick and Peyton. Dominick is from a mafia/organized crime family, and meets the flight attendant, Peyton, after getting stuck flying commercial. Sparks fly between the two, leading to a weekend together before Peyton realizes the truth and disappears from Dominick's life. Fast forward several years and these two stumble across each other, with Peyton hiding a huge secret in the form of Dominick's son.

This was a fun and light spin on an organized crime/suspense storyline. I understood Peyton's reasons for keeping their son a secret from Dominick. Despite his hurt, it was great seeing him immediately take on his role as a father. One thing I like about this author's writing is that she doesn't hide the chemistry and end goal of the characters. There was a little push and pull, but we all knew Peyton was going to give in rather quickly to Dominick and his charm.

I am intrigued by where this series is going! I teetered between 4.5/5 stars because I did feel like while there was an HEA, I wasn’t sure how to feel about how the overarching storyline was introduced as it happened after what I felt was the HEA/end of the story. However, while that is my preference, I am still excited for the next book!

What to Expect: billionaire H, flight attendant h, secret baby, dark romance/morally grey hero, breeding k!nk

Oh honey… buckle up, because this trainwreck of a book deserves a full warning. The writing? Hot garbage. Everything is told instead of shown, like the author had a checklist of “things the reader must know immediately” and zero skill in subtlety. And the cringe? My eyes are still recovering. Also, how many times can you drop the word “rape” in a single story before it stops being shocking and just becomes… irritating? Spoiler: apparently, infinity.

I kept reading, hoping it would get better when the kid finally appeared. Forty percent in. FORTY. And guess what? The kid barely matters. Just conveniently shoved into the story when the author remembered, “Oh right, we need a child now.” The plot? Ha. Anthony—the supposed threat—is “after them” but is really just a tiny fish. He dies, nothing really changes, and then suddenly, months later in the epilogue, the big mystery of who’s really after them is… never revealed. Oh, and she’s pregnant. Conveniently. End of story.

Continuity? Nonexistent. Dominick speaks Spanish near Peyton, she acts shocked—but wait! He already spoke Spanish before, no one blinked. He calls Damien “my son” ten times in ten paragraphs, and only on the 11th time does Peyton suddenly worry, “Hmm, hope Damien doesn’t notice…” Like, lady, he’s been hearing this for paragraphs. And yes, they’re supposed to be Russian—but none of their names are Russian, they barely speak Russian, and the one word we get is “babushka.” That’s it. That’s the cultural depth.

And the romance? Oh, the romance. The second half of the book is basically an instruction manual for banging nonstop. Nonstop obsession with pregnancy, illogical outcomes (she gets pregnant with protection the first time, but months of unprotected sex later… nada), and sex scenes that feel more like a checklist than a story.

First Nikki book I’ve tried, last Nikki book I’ll touch. If you enjoy eye-bleeding cringe, plotless chaos, and characters that make zero sense, this is your jam. Otherwise… run.

OHHHH MY GOD. With that ending? Sign me up for book 2 NOW! I need it ASAP! I’m screaming!

—————————

Sometimes you just need a secret baby / mafia / diet dark / possessive / obsessive hero / with a strong FMC book ya know? Well this was exactly what I needed right when I needed it. And I think it might be the best book Nikki Ash has ever written. Yes, I said it. Is she made to write dark, dirty, possessive men? Yes. Without a doubt.

Peyton and Dominick meet one afternoon on a flight where Peyton is the flight attendant, and Dom is the passenger. So they flirt a bit, and Dom is down bad for this red haired beauty. A few months later they again, meet on a flight and decide to mutually give in to their chemistry and spend ONE NIGHT together. They both know it’s only for the night. When a call pulls Dom away from their bed in the middle of the night, and he leaves without a note, Peyton knows whatever they had is over. Until two little lines show up on a test, and she’s determined to raise her child on her own.. after finding out what kind of business Dom deals with.

See, Peyton is never going to fall in love with a dangerous man. She came from an abusive household, and she has no plans to repeat the cycle.

Until these two, 4 years later, run into one another by chance on yet another flight.. and once Dom finds out the truth about what she’s been hiding? Nothing will stop him from keeping his family together, kicking or screaming, Peyton’s his now.

I really was sucked right in to their story. I read and was absorbed by every word of this book, and Nikki really kept me on my toes until the very last page. Although their story ends in a HEA, the plot will continue throughout the rest of the series, so the plot has no conclusion.. which has me needing the next book ASAP.

I loved their spice, I loved their love, I loved Peyton being an absolute bad ass and standing up to Dom every step of the way, and I loved watching Dom go from ruthless businessman, to daddy. It was so sweet.

I can’t wait to continue on with this series, and I’ll recommend this book to ANYONE who is looking for something fun, spicy, intriguing, and not *too* dark.

4.5⭐️ 📖 Sweetest Sin by Nikki Ash

❤️‍🔥The dedication: “To the women who love a green-flag man but are craving something a bit darker.”

Ummmm, whatever Nikki Ash put in this book, I was addicted to Dominick & Peyton’s story right from the meet cute! I love a great ‘made man’ story and Dominick walked the line between ‘he’s a morally grey man’ and ‘he’s completely head over boots obsessed with her’.

“She’s sunshine and waterfalls, laughter and happiness. And pulling her into my fold would only snuff out her light.”

Peyton was a great, strong FMC. She put her dreams on the back burner to take care of her mother. She would also do EVERYTHING in her power to protect her son, even if that meant doing it all alone.

Dom would literally end anyone that threatened his family and I LOVED that!

“Don’t worry, Peaches. Tonight, I plan to use all three.” 🤭

This story set up the future books in the series. We definitely do get a happy ending, but be prepared for there to still be some things unresolved because they will definitely play into the next books!

This was a great read full of a sizzling love story and plenty of twists & turns that will have you on the edge of your seat!

Cute read, but not for me.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: secret baby
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

I'm A huge fan of Nikki Ash, secret babies, and mafia/dark romance, but this one just didn't work for me. I think it was just a tad too fluffy (more gray than dark). I do feel like most folks will really enjoy it, it just hit the spot for me.

secret baby ??? mafia ??? YUHH PUT ME IN COACH

thank you so much nikki ash for giving me the chance to arc read !!

this is a mafia dark romance, secret baby, possessive, obsession, one night stand, flight attendant fmc + ruthless mmc, instant attraction, dark pasts, trauma, time jump, duo pov, interconnected standalone 🩷

flying commercial is so unknown to dominick. he’s used to the lavish lifestyle and constantly looking over his shoulder for his enemies. but the only thing that made this flight worth it, is the fiery redhead flight attendant, peyton. they meet again when peyton is flying out of the country and dominick can not let her slip through his fingers again. when a one night stand turns out to be two little lines across the pregnancy test, peyton swore she would never fall for the bad boy. four years go by and peyton has been keeping one of the biggest secrets she’s ever had to keep. with enemies closing in, dominick has to figure out a plan where two of the most important people in his life are to be kept safe and away from danger. but trust has to be earned, and peyton is not having any of it. no matter what, dominick has claimed his woman and he will do whatever it takes to keep his family safe. he will literally drag her kicking and screaming if he must 🛩️

IMMEDIATELY i was sucked right into the story of peyton and dominick 😍 gosh i loved their relationship and how they overcame so much. they are so hot together and the way they bicker and banter ??? oh i’m so down bad. their chemistry and the spice was absolutely out of this world 🤤

although their story ends in a hea, the plot still continues !! i can’t wait to jump into the next book omg 🤩

This is another absolute banger by Nikki Ash!! She knows how to write a angsty and delicious secret baby romance for sure. I loved the story of Peyton and Dominick and the way their relationship developed throughout the book. The spice and drama were next level. A little darker than Nikki's usual books, but I ate this up! Highly recommend if you're looking for a mafia romance!

It’s an alright story if you want a quick read with these tropes but development vise, it’s on the lower side.
I just didn’t like the MMC, too demanding and used to getting whatever he wants imo.
The FMC still had a bit of character to her.

I received a copy of Sweetest Sin from the author in return for an honest review.

Peyton and Dominic has this instant chemistry that neither one can deny but the reality of their situations is that he can't give her what she wants. So one night is all they get till he runs into her four years later to find the spark is still there and she's been hiding a secret. Dominic's kind of perfect for Peyton even if he is born into the mafia he's our morally grey mmc that we all swoon after and he checks all the boxes.

I've not been a huge fan of surprise pregnacy tropes in the past but this one has made me a fan. I didn't know I needed these in my life till Sweetest Sin. I loved every moment of Peyton and Dominic's story I just devoured it in one afternoon it was hard to put down. I love that we get to know his siblings and I feel like I was able to connect with all the characters.

Sweetest Sin is a beautiful written story with characters to fall in love with and I was hooked till the very last page. This is not my first book by the author she's an autobuy for me as every book I've read by her has been fantastic. I loved this one so much and it might be my favorite of hers. I'm glad to see we have three more in the series because I'm not ready for this world to end. I honestly loved every moment of the story. Highly recommend if you love dark mafia romance.

“Give me a chance, Peaches.”

4.5✨

A dark secret baby romance? YUP and I loved every second of it!! Like every Nikki book I’ve read, this one was impossible to put down. From the first meeting, to their steamy one-night stand, to the surprise reunion years later (eeek)… this story had everything that makes a romance novel a page-turner🙂‍↕️

I especially love the way Nikki writes her heroes. Dominick, with his darker upbringing and alpha energy, completely won me over. Once he found out he was a dad, he stepped up to the plate in the most unexpected ways (okay yes, kidnapping Peyton was one way but I must say he was determined!) 🫣🤣

Overall, this was such a fast-paced dark romance with the perfect mix of spice, drama, and heart. If you’re into spicy romance books, this one is 100% worth the read.

Love it all and didn't put it down until I finished reading it. So good. That was my initial thought; You know what autocorrect thought I was saying: Locke Kit Jill, and I didn't put it down until I finished reading it. So good.
Does that even make sense? 🙄 Anyway, here goes my review.

I LOVED Dominick and Payton. You want to know why? Because Payton was a breath of fresh air. She was a flight attendant who was also a caregiver for her ailing mom. She didn't know Dominick, even though it seemed like EVERYONE knew who he was, and she made decisions for herself, not because she was afraid of getting in trouble. Now, Dominick is the Bad Boy we all love in books, and that's where it needs to stay. He's the brain part of the "Family," while his brother is the muscle; he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, though, so be warned. He's a billionaire who normally flies private, but the first time he flies commercial, he can't help but find the fiery redhead flight attendant very sexy and hopes to make lunch out of her.

This was an interested read. Did I enjoy it? Yes i did. Did I devour it in 24 hours? Yes. But i think it will be for everyone? No i dont. I love a secret baby moment but its not for everyone, especially with the reaction Dom has. 🫣

Dom was the literal definition of an OTT, possessive mafia man. He could be a ruthless businessman then turn into family man and daddy mode the next minute like it was nothing.

I loved Peyton. She felt like she did what was necessary for her son at all times. She also had a backbone when it came to Dom and didnt let him just walk all over her which i appreciated.
The banter, the spice, the PLOT. I was hooked until the very end. & speaking of the ending.... It felt very unfinished and I'm gonna need the next story immediately. 🫣

Sweetest Sin by Nikki Ash

I'm convinced that Nikki can do no wrong! From Small Town, sports, Rockstars, single parents, mafia, firefighter, military, accidental pregnancy, mfm, brothers best friend, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, second chance, age gap... you name it she can write it!!!

Sweetest Sin was no different. Dark romance, secret baby, different worlds. I was so excited for this one. I've been searching for a darker romance to devour and I found it! I read this in one sitting and could not put it down.

A chance meeting, these two couldn't be more opposite. Dominick is our mafia billionaire set to take over his family's empire. While Peyton is a struggling flight attendant trying to make ends meet while taking care of her ill Mother.

But for one night they have each other. They have this insane connection and chemistry. Its undeniable. And life changing. Because its something they cant deny. Dom is this dark, guarded billionaire boss man. He's not the settle down family type. Until he meets the innocent Peyton who flips his views. Hes determined not to pull her into his dark, but fate plays its own hand! Fast forward 4 years later and they meet again. Still opposites but with a tether that pulls them together. Their son.

You watch these two literally grow and bloom and heal in a sense. Watching Dom open up tonlove and family. Hes always been protective and caring over his mother and siblings but he could only do so much while his father was alive. So to see him let his guard down, fall in love and embrace his roll as Dad and partner was beautiful to see. And watching Peyton while being scared fully embrace Dom and his darker side to give her son family. And while also letting love win! I'm just obsessed with this book and these characters!

This book is dangerous and sexy. And full of the spice. It pulls at the heart strings and gives you all these feels. And reminded me again why I love Nikki and her books so much! Because they never disappoint and they get me out of my funk!

I am dying for Matteo's book! I absolutely love this new world and can not wait for more! I need questions i need answered! I love that its going to keep us guessing and waiting until we get to each book. Def a must read!

did I like this? yes. will i be reading the next book? hell yeah. I loved the side characters and canlt wait to see the other siblings stoires. i know Matteo is next and im so excited since hes so anti relationship and a bit of a man whőre. Brielle's story also shocked me as much as it shocked Dominick. I was never expecting that at all and totally understand why she was that way.
with that being said... I did have a grievance with Peyton. She angered me so bad, truly.

in the beginning she talks about how her mom was a victim of DV at the hands of her dad and how likely she is to be as well, fine I get it. but then once she meets the mmc she tells him and hes like that wouldnt be me, my dad also abused my mom and she doesn't believe him, also fine. once the time jump happens, and she has their son, every time hes around the son shes worried hes gonna abuse him? the bathroom scene? I had to scream. HE NEVER HAS ATTEMPTED TO HURT THIS KID, EVERYONE HAS VOUCHED FOR HIM AND YOURE IGNORING THEM. at what point does the fmc need to talk to a therapist? its her and her thought process, not him. she keeps thinking hes going to do something and I get they havent known each other for long but you cant keep putting that on him waiting for the shoe to drop. in addition she keeps the kid away from him and then once he finds out tries to continue to keep the kid away.. its still half his kid? she keeps saying no "hes my son" no babes hes both of yours? im confused? then they move in and shes mad cause the man said hes gonna slit a throat? immediately expecting him to change how he talks, in his own house, but damn near jumps in front of him whenever he talks to his son? how do you expect him to immediately change how hes been for his whole life in a matter of days or weeks? she truly pissed me off but I really liked the story so I ignored her cause everyone else was good and once she calmed down and got her head out of her booty she was good again. Nikki Ash Tempting Love bk 01 Sweetest Sin

Man on a Mission

From the beginning, I like the connection Dominick (Dom) Antonov and Peyton (Peaches) seem to share. Her life's a mess, and his ain't much better. Even with a betrothal that he despises looming in the near future, I like how he gives himself permission to enjoy what little time he's able to take with her.

As mentioned, Peyton got some baggage. It's a sad but common set of circumstances. My heart goes out to anyone in that scenario. Of course, Dominick is sporting his own trauma and can relate to Peyton on a deeper level.

As much as we’d prefer to have our own places, in order to keep Mom safe from our asshole father, we still live at home, knowing he won’t touch her while we’re here now that we’re capable of knocking him on his ass if he lays a finger on her.
-- Dominick Antonov

Dominick is far from a saint, but I love that his protectiveness, especially for abused and exploited women, is deeply rooted. Maybe he takes it a touch too far on occasion, but he's well intentioned... mostly. I do love that Peyton does set some boundaries and gets him to bend. It's infrequent, but it does happen. 😁

As this is Mafia / Bratva related, violence and other dark elements are expected. We also get discussions about off-screen actions which include domestic violence, grape, and forced loss of pregnancy.

One more notable item: this ends with a cliffhanger. The couple kind of gets an HEA, but we have to stay tuned for other elements to play out.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Walker Williams and Marina Barrett, are good. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've listened to Walker. I'm happy with both of their performances. 🎧❤️🎧

did I like this? yes. will i be reading the next book?

I just think she needed therapy after her dad and that would have fixed a lot of the issues

I will always be an accidental pregnancy/surprise baby trope lover and this book was exactly what I needed 👏🏼

Our FMC Peyton dropped out of college to support her mothers illness and as a result found work as a flight attendant and this is where she meets Dominick when she accidentally falls into his lap while he is boarding her flight. To say sparks were flying between them would be an understatement.

Dominick’s life is quite a dangerous life and while he wants to pursue something with Peyton he doesn’t want to involve her in his life. That being said he does make quite the effort to be a passenger on her flights. When Peyton has a change in her schedule in which she has a layover in the Dominican Republic, Dominick jumps at the opportunity to spend some time with her.

As expected the pair open up to one another and cherish their limited time together but when something is thrown out of order in Dominick’s world he leaves without a note for Peyton. Of course Dominick did leave a memento behind in the form of a positive pregnancy test. Dominick does search for Peyton soon after but she decides that they are better off without him and she lies to get him off her back.

Peyton raises her son Damien for four years until the pair reunite when she meets him once again on an airplane. Talk about Deja vu lol. Years may have passed between them but you can certainly tell that the spark never faded or diminished.

When Dominick’s enemies come creeping in he stops at nothing to protect Peyton and his son. Also in that time he wins her heart over and proves that he can be the man that her and their son needs. It should be noted that Peytons father was not a good man to her mother and as such she refused to fall into the same cycle as her mother and Dominick proved time and time again that he was nothing like her father or even his father.

I loved this book- from the second Dominick realised that Damien was his son he stepped up without hesitation. I liked how the author included a lot of bonding moments with Dominick and Damien and the family as a whole as sometimes these aspects can be missed in surprise/secret baby romances. His family welcomed Peyton and Damien with open arms and this was so beautiful as she lost her mother a few years prior and didn’t have the close family bond after her passing. Peyton is was the best single mom, she worked and fought day in and day out to provide for her son.

While Peyton and Dominick’s story may be over the overall story is just beginning and I cannot wait to see where the author will take us next.

Thank you so much to the author who provided the e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

It's been a hot minute since I last read a mafia book, and Sweetest Sin just remined me why I was so addicted to them! Add in a secret baby, a possessive yet cinnamon-roll-deep-down MMC, a feisty and witty FMC and all the fireworks these two produced and you've a overwhelmingly satisfied bookworm.

A chance encounter brings Peyton and Dominick together for a night of passion, but that's all Dom can give her. His obligations won't allow him to offer anything than a moment. When he has to go in the middle of the night though, he doesn't know he didn't only leave behind memories for Peyton to remember. Peyton has had a hard life, growing up the way she did and her current situation doesn't leave much for anything than a night. Little does she know that when she gives in to the dangerous-looking stranger she met on her flight that her life is about to change.

Can I just say that I absolutely love the surprise pregnancy turning into secret baby is my favorite? Because it is and this story was simply chef's kiss.

When Dom and Peyton run into each other 4 years later, they realize everything the felt that night is still present and Dom gets the surprise of a lifetime! His determination to win over Peyton and how quickly he dons the father role was making me swoon. But Peyton was a feisty mama bear, not letting Dom run her over and stood her ground. Their dynamic was powerful and their chemistry off the chart! I gobbled that book like there was no tomorrow and their HEA left me content.

That cliffhanger though has left me salivating for the next installment in this series and I can't wait! Nikki Ash has delivered her best book yet! Bring on the next adventure!!

I’d been reading Nikki Ash's books before officially reviewing them. She can do no wrong, and I smile every time I start one. That’s what I was doing when I began Sweetest Sin. It's a darker romance than her previous releases, and I loved every moment Nikki delivered. I truly get excited when I begin one of her books.

Dominick’s life is established initially, giving readers just enough to know he is dangerous. Yet, parts of his past run parallel to Peyton as the story further transitions to her, giving him a softer side. He loves his younger sister and mother, the only people besides Peyton who can boss him around.

Sweetest Sin is indeed a pregnancy trope fan’s dream as it includes all the favorite themes surrounding it. Nikki is known for this and does it so well. Dominick knows what to say and how to say it, convincing Peyton that she must be with him forever. There’s the push and pull due to Dominick’s risky lifestyle. The spice scenes are steamy.

As Sweetest Sin is Book 1 of the Tempting Love Series, I could see other characters being introduced later. I'm most interested in Dominick’s sister, Brielle, as she played a significant role in this story and was told well. But whichever character is next will be well worth the wait.

Dominick and Peyton’s story was ab👏🏾so👏🏾lute👏🏾ly👏🏾 EVERYTHING.

When I say 𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙆𝙀𝘿. Mafia, secret baby, broody overly possessive billionaire with touch her and die vibes aaaand a breeding kink! I mean does it get any better!? 😮‍💨 Per usual, my baby trope queen did not disappoint!

The chemistry. The passion. The dirty talk. The feels. Seeing this ruthless billionaire have his heart completely stolen and softened by love and fatherhood? Be still my heart. I loved the feistiness from Peyton and how she challenged Dom, ruthlessness be damned, she was a woman who demanded respect and was not settling for less than what she deserved. As a man used to people bowing to his wills, Peyton was the breath of fresh air and just the woman for him. Their HEA just warmed me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.

But, ooh that ending with the set up for the next book!!! Lawd, I screamed! Cause NIKKI PLEASE!! I need Deadliest Desire right now! I already can tell this series is going to a rollercoaster and I’m buckled in and ready for the ride!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🖤 Touch her and 💀
🖤 Jealous/Possessive Hero
🖤 Secret baby
🖤 Hero has a breeding kink
🖤 Dark romance
🖤 Small town

Holy cow! Sweetest Sin by Nikki Ash is so smoking hot and absolutely my favorite of her books so far! I was pulled in right from the start. Sweetest Sin is the first book in the new Tempting Love Series.

I freaking loved Dominik as a MMC. He’s protective, possessive and totally has a heart of gold for the ones he holds dear. Of course he’s in the mafia, so he has a lethal side as well, but that just makes him even more appealing. I loved how caring he was to his sister and trying to help her out of the position their father put her (really all of the siblings in their own way) in.

He stops at nothing to keep Peyton (and their child) safe….once he finds out about said baby of course. Secret babies aren’t always my favorite trope but this one worked so, so well. Their chance meeting was perfection and these two were absolutely explosive together!

Speaking of Peyton….I just loved her character! She is such a fantastic mom who is committed to keeping her child safe, even if that means keeping a huge secret.

I loved the ending of this book and I can’t wait for the next chapter in this series!

Thank you to Nikki Ash and Enticing Journey for the ARC of this book.

I was so excited to start this book! Dominick & Peyton have this amazing chemistry right from the start! Both of them are having bad days when they run into each other on a plane oh do the sparks fly!! She is a flight attendant and he is flying commercial (which is rare for him)…they meet again a few months later and can’t keep their hands off of each other. We get a very steamy one night stand….but the timing for them just isn’t right.

He gets a call in the middle of the night and leaves…but soon after she realizes she is pregnant. His life is dangerous and he has many enemies. Peyton wants nothing to do with his life and goes her own way….until their paths cross 4 years later!!!

Peyton is so strong and caring and has been taking care of her ill mother. Dom has a…complicated family situation…but oh he goes all in for Peyton and their son. He will do anything to keep them safe, but that doesn’t mean she is ok with them all being together. Peyton isn’t just going to roll over and accept this new arrangement! I especially love their banter and their connection. Yes things are complicated but rest assured we get our HEA!

Sweetest Sin is the first book in the Tempting Love series by Nikki Ash. It's is a dark romance with a Billionaire second chance, forced proximity and secret baby tropes. Vibes of Organized Crime families, suspense, lots of smexy scenes and ends with a HEA.

TW: Bloodshed and torture on page (not of main characters), abusive parent, attempted child kidnapping, SA (Not to MC), rape off page (not of an MC), forced abortion off page (to a side character), breeding kink, murder, loss of a parent.

Dominick has to fly Business class and the flight attendant, Peyton, literally falls into his lap. He wants to take her to the bathroom and join the mile high club but she sticks to professionalism instead.

Peyton had to quit college and take care of her sick mother. Her dream is hospitality but she needed a job and now she's dealing with a pilot who will not leave her alone.

Dominick threatened the pilot and doesn't see her again until he follows het to the Dominican Republic. They spend the day and night together with a connection that could turn into forever.

Peyton wakes the next morning and Dom isn't there nor has he left a note. She figures the feelings wasn't mutual.

Four years later Dominick is flying privately and Peyton falls into his lap again. He's happy to see her but the feeling isn't mutual. Dom has her checked out and he's furious at what he learns.

Peyton has had to struggle raising her son and she wants no part of Dom or his family. But when they are saved from a kidnapping he forces them to move in with him.

Dominick isn't losing anymore time with either of them and wants to put another baby in Peyton sooner than later but someone is out to get him and his weakness is his family...
