Ivywood: the Blackwood Series Book 3

Rate this book
After traveling across half of Anglia, Moira Finglas finds herself traveling in the less-than-friendly company of Lord Leofwin and Lord Godberd. Lured away from Roman and Wilhelm in the Ruins of Etheldred, Moira is determined to make the most of her mildly disastrous life choices. With only her questionable singing talents to keep you sane, Moira passes the time belting folk songs and making sure she isn't the only one who suffers.

A surprise stop in Loxley Village reunites Moira with an unexpected friend. Worried about Roman and Wilhelm, while desperate to learn of her brother's fate, Moira is torn about what to do next. With some much needed distance from Lord Leofwin, Moira makes an unplanned alliance with the new Lord of Loxley, Ivan Moknford, and she begins to make plans of her own.

Whether she helps Roman return King Leo to the throne or learns if Amis survived, Moira knows she has one place to go.

Book 3 in the Blackwood series does not disappoint. We are at the end of Moira and Roman’s adventures and it is no less exciting than when they started. Going back to where it all began is the only way to end the battle against Prince Lyric. With twists I did not see coming, a bit of romance to keep all us hopeless romantics satisfied, and enough action to keep the pages turning this is by far one of my favorite reads this year!

The amount of highlighting I did in this book because I just loved how beautifully the sentences were written, or how hilarious it was, or the callbacks to the previous books… I loved this and I was anxious as hell for the last hundred pages haha. I’m really satisfied to the end of this series that I have absolutely loved over the last few years.
