Game of Thorns by Nancy Warren A Village Flower Shop Cozy Mystery Book Five Peony Bellefleur, owner of Bewitching Blooms, is putting on a flower arranging class at the Tudor Rose Inn. The first day went off just fine. A few bored participants who didn’t want to be there, but all in all, it went well. The second day, not so much. A death can throw things off the rails. Meanwhile, things are going well with her boyfriend. Alex, who happens to be a werewolf, will be locked in his dungeon for a few nights because of the harvest moon. A witch and a werewolf. At least they know each other’s secrets. Maybe their class has been disrupted, but now Peony is on the path to finding out who the killer is. The choices vary between four or five people. I enjoy Peony’s adventures in this series. Storylines that keep me turning the page from beginning to end. https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
Peony Bellefleur owns a flower shop in the Cotswolds. The upcoming weekend is a flower workshop at a local posh hotel. The group includes a few of the locals and some prestigious guests. The weekend goes well as the students engage - except for a retired tennis player and perhaps the bride-to-be and her mother. Unfortunately one of the students is missing the next morning. And thus begins the sleuthing. This is another outstanding book in this series. I enjoyed the growth of the friends and their relationships. Peony’s skills as a witch and a detective are developing. It’s wonderful to be back in Willow Waters again.
This was an enjoyable read, howerver, it felt very slow and the murder only happened halfway through. While I love a relaxed cosy, there just wasn't enough happening
This was excellent! This is honestly my favourite series by Nancy Warren, it’s so cosy and deeply immersed in flowers and gardens, it’s so charming! 💐
Peony and Imogen host a flower arranging class at their flower shop when a former celebrity is found dead. Using her own powerful magical abilities and helped by her rich werewolf boyfriend Alex, Peony investigates.
I loved everything about this and it was such a quick read. There are lots of descriptions of flowers and bouquets and the whole story felt very alive with all the colourful characters and suspects. I also love Alex and Peony’s relationship, he’s so appreciative of her! There was also a secondary couple that was super sweet.
