If you like the miscommunication trope, this book is for you. First of all, twelve years go by and two adults still can’t have a conversation about what happened. 😒 They don’t even discuss it until 54% into the book. Then there’s the other alpha—they don’t address that miscommunication until you’re 48% in. Giving this book 3 ⭐️ is a stretch.

2 ⭐️ Soooo... I've read enough fanfics to know one when I read it. And I'm not saying I know where this is coming from. Maybe it's the lack of maturity and the thrown together people because why the hell not and boom now y'all are in love now??

I don't know why this book was on my KU Main Page for sooooo long - this entire series really- before I decided to pick this up. And honestly, it wasn't that good of a time. I'm underwhelmed at best...

Just meh.

Also, the whole cinderella with my stepsisters that goes from responsible to LET'S DUKE IT OUT ON THE RINK BUT NOT REALLY to oh no, cause SHE'S SO MEAN but also I'M SOOOOO PATHETIC and I'm also just SUCH A SLUTTTTT, like how can I be attracted to my matessss?? What an absolute wh*reeeeeee am I!!! - LITERALLY THE AUTHOR'S WORDS I WOULD NEVER SAY THAT OMG- But like I'm such a good girl who would never speak up for herself and my evil-soul sucking sisters are just demons looking to kill all the joy and rainbows in the world. And steal from ME and my NANA!!! And, like, sure I keep saying that it's not about the money and that I'm going to donate it and than I don't but like shut up...

Idk. Can you tell I didn't enjoy this book all that much?? lollll

I really enjoyed this one other than the fact that Hannah without question, believed a step sister that hated her without even confronting her boyfriend. She just turned and ran. So frustrating.

cute read but some inconsistencies

Cute read and I really liked all the characters. However this was some lack of integrity to the story line and details. For example it wasn’t Martin Sheffield from the last book it was Brody Sheffield. Also why wasn’t Hannah’s brother Kieran a recipient or considered in the inheritance. Was an enjoyable read but needed a bit more editing, and substance to the plotline.

This was just so much fun to read. I feel like Noah and Enzo got the most page time, would have loved to see a little more of Austen and even Charlie. But the whole pack is adorable.
I really wish there was more comeuppance for the evil stepsisters.

DNF. There are too many books to read that I cannot keep reading about cowardly fmcs and miscommunication tropes for now reason.

i am so glad to be back in Starbrook City. after reading Cady’s story in the 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒈𝒂, i knew i was going to love Hannah’s story and it definitely did not disappoint. 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝑨𝒍𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒔 is an interconnected standalone, so you don’t have to read 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒈𝒂 to understand Hannah’s story, but i highly recommend it.

i didn’t realize how much Hannah’s story was going to pull at my heart strings. i was hoping so badly for her to get her HEA the entire book after hearing her failed attempts at dating packs and how she’d basically given up in finding one.

but luckily, fate decided it was time to bring her pack together, piece by piece. you have Enzo, the older steady pack leader. Austin, the sweet southern gentleman who loves to bake. Noah, Charlie’s foster brother and obsessed hacker with slight stalkerish tendencies. And Charlie, her first love and “Golden Boy” who broke her heart. they all come together to be the perfect family for each other.

i loved all of Hannah’s alphas, but Noah took the place of #1 pretty quickly with his hacker skills he uses to stalk Hannah. he’s rough around the edges but i love an obsessed alpha. especially one who loves to chase 😏

while the pack is coming together and courting Hannah, Hannah is also dealing with legal troubles from her step-sister’s, adding in the perfect amount of drama to the plot.

this book does have a miscommunication trope with the breakup between Hannah and Charlie. but it just adds to the pining from Charlie and the heartache Hannah deals with, wondering if she can be enough for her pack. overall this is another sweet omegaverse from Jessica Winters that i know you’ll all love.

Such a fantastic read! It gave me all the feels — yearning, hope, heat, frustration — and finally that deep sense of comfort that a pack bring. Hannah’s journey really hit me, because it wasn’t just about finding her alphas. It was about healing from years of rejection and realizing she’s not too much or too broken to be fully loved. Watching the pack come together, work through their own baggage, and fight for Hannah was incredibly satisfying. I’m usually not a fan of second-chance, but I really liked it here. Charlie shows how deeply and consistently he’s loved Hannah, and he goes all in to earn her back. I absolutely hated her stepsisters, and the legal subplot was both well handled and satisfyingly wrapped up.

Writing/Plot: The writing strikes a perfect balance between emotional depth and warm, playful energy. The pacing is steady, with the right mix of character development, relationship building, and external conflict to keep the story engaging. The plot is about a woman rediscovering her worth, learning to let herself be love, and finally believing she deserves more.
Characters: Hannah is easy to root for — she’s vulnerable but strong, hopeful but deeply human in her doubt. After years of disappointment, she still manages to open her heart, and watching her grow into her confidence is incredibly satisfying. The guys are distinct and compelling in their own ways: each brings a different energy, from soft and protective to wild and teasing.
Relationships: Some of the alphas are strangers, so there are naturally awkward moments, insecurities, and even a bit of jealousy — and that’s exactly what makes the relationships feel so genuine. The chemistry is there, of course, but what stood out most to me was the emotional intimacy. There’s space for Hannah to be fully seen and valued — not just for her designation, but for who she is as a whole person. The way all four of them work to understand and support her (and each other) is genuinely heart-melting.
Worldbuilding: The omegaverse world is well-built. There are clear societal rules, like the reliance on heat clinics or legal barriers for unmated omegas, that add real stakes to Hannah’s situation.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I read the previous book in the series that follows the fmcs best friend. I loved it and was so excited for this book!

Since I knocked out some books that I needed to read I rewarded myself with this omegaverse

It was cute! I really felt for our FMC. She had a lot of toxic family. Very few who actually treated her right. There was a misunderstanding only because of one family member purposely framing one of the MMCs.

I loved following this and how the guys became a pack. They all bonded and grew together. It’s a omegaverse so timelines don’t matter as much 😂

Can’t wait for the next book!

3/5 ⭐️

"She's a runner , she's a track star
Shawty gon' run when she's in a bind" 😂😂
Honestly Hannah needs professional help.
She was so hung up of the fact that 23 packs rejected her that as soon as she found hers, she ran and just kept on running like she was out for an Olympic medal. This book was more repetitive and heavy on miscommunication and I wasn't a huge fan of it. I don't mind the slow burn , but not much happened until 60 ish % in. I thought she was going to be a baddie like her bestie Caty but nope. Just a little disappointed.

I had a fun time but I can't help feeling picky. The other didn't do any research on civil cases. There is no such thing as a prosecutor in a civil case. There are plaintiffs, not prosecutors. Also, there was so much stupidness. The whole fight thing irritated me. I want my main character characters to be smart smarter than that.

And finally, there were so many gendered stereotyped roles.

I did like that Charlie had never slept with anyone else besides Hannah. That was awesome

I haven’t read a miscommunication trope dragged out for almost half the book like this in a while. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, and if you’re a fan of that, I think you’ll definitely like this. Still, even with how infuriating it was, this read like a comfort read for me.

The setup for this was perfect. The connections between everyone was believeable and came together so well. Hannah's reticence was understandable. Her men became a cohesive pack quickly so they could support and care for her like she deserved. There were a couple small plot choices that weren't my favorite so that's why this is 4 instead of 5 stars. The spice is a little slower to build than in the first book.

Hannah - Omega - peaches and brown sugar
Charlie - Alpha - Coconut and sandalwood - Secret tattoo - Mags (magpie)
Austin - Alpha - lemony mint tea - darlin' Noah - Alpha - cinnamon and cloves - princess

Pretty typically laid out Omegaverse book, but not nearly enough spice! The author gives the reader a heat, but there was potential for so much more. Hence the 4/5 stars; the lack of smut brought it down for me personally. And I know the FMC has been through a bunch of packs and faced a ton of rejection, but I do not get FMC’s who get what they’ve literally been dreaming of and then straight up run from it. You dumb hoe! Go get dicked done on the regular by the guys who you like back!! It isn’t rocket science. My irritation with that also added to the subtraction of the star. A great one to read if you’re a fan of the Omegaverse world and you enjoyed the first book in this series.

I'm loving this series so far 😍 It's cute, its fun, has a hint of drama and a lot of possessive Alphas 😝

I liked Hannah. In the beginning she did annoy me a bit because she kept on running away (Yes, she had her reasons but it still annoyed me) but other than that she really did have a good character growth. It annoyed me that Hannah just ran away without seeing if Cat was telling the truth or not about Charlie. The whole mess could have been avoided if she'd just communicated with him. Even Cady was suspicious of Cat doing something dirty and tried to get Hannah to hear Charlies side of the story.

Poor Charlie ☹️ IT TOOK HIM 12 YEARS!!! 12 YEARS TO FIND HANNAH !!!! He truly believed that Hannah was his one and only, before she even presented as an Omega (AND HE WAS RIGHT). Throughout those 12 years he never had a partner, no one night stands, no crushes, no nothing. He was determined to get her back, no matter how long it took. Get me a man like Charlie 💕

Ezno, My silver fox 👨‍🦳🥰 Who would've thought that Enzo was going to be the Head Alpha of the pack, I thought it was going to be Noah or Charlie because of there personalities but I was wrong and I'm glad I was 😁. Enzo deserved to be Head of the pack, he not only took care of Hannah but also his fellow Alphas. When he comforted Noah in his time of need 🥹 and when he made sure that all his pack Alphas got bonded to Hannah before he did just incase Hannah's heat took over again 🥲🤭🥹 He finally got the pack that he always wanted 🥰 By the way .... Seeing dominant Enzo was 🥵 I'm never complaining about that 😋💦

Golden Retriever Austin 🐶😋 Who would've guessed that the big bouncers love language was baking 😋 If only Hannah saw those cupcakes he made that match the colour of her hair (How to get a girl 101 - Austin Style) 🧁🤭 That kitchen scene 💦 that led to the chasing/sharing scene in the garden with Noah 🥵 Shy guys really do it best 😚

Noah The Stalker 😂🤭 Sorry Noah but you were more of a stalker than Charlie 😆 He gave off the vibe of "Touch Her and Die" but with a twist ... Touch her and get hacked ... and maybe beaten up 😂
Hard exterior on the outside but broken on the inside 🙁 What he had to go through as a child with his parents choosing drugs over him 😢😤 And when CPS was finally called, they ended up giving Noah back to his parents because they "cleaned" up there act. Then, when they got in trouble with the law AGAIN, their lawyers wanted him to lie on the stand and say that they were loving parents 🖕🏻Their lawyer cared more about the clients then the health and safety of a child 🤬 It's sad that no one came to save him ☹️ Thank god for Austin's parents 🙌🏻 They became Foster parents at the right time and ended up giving Noah what he always wanted, a loving family ☺️

Hannah's Step-Sisters .... EWWWW 🤢 MONEY HUNGRY WHORES !! SHAME ON YOU 🤬

Im happy that we got to see The De Lucca Pack back in action. We mainly saw Cady, Ollie and Titus as they were needed more for the storyline but we still got hints of Archie, Matteo and Simon in the background.

This story ends with a HEA for the Beckham Pack. Up next is "Their Knotty Pack" featuring Archies sister Bethany. I can't wait for this one to be released 🤭 Bethany isn't going to be the only omega in the pack, theres going to be a MALE OMEGA ASWELL (Miles) !!!! Will we see some MM action ???? Please let's hope so. I loved Archie and Matteo's relationship in "The Knotty Omega" so I'm rooting for another cute MM couple (Maybe all the Alphas want in on some MM action ??) 😍🥹 It's just got me thinking 🤔 Can male Omega's go into heat ??? Are we going to get a double heat ??? Are Bethany and Miles going to go into heat at the same time ??? AHHHH so many questions !!!!! August can't come fast enough 🏃🏻‍♀️

As always, I’d like to say a massive thank you to Jessica Winters for allowing me to be an ARC reader for her most recent book.💓

This book gave me all the favourites! - Fluff, steam, yearning and the development after miscommunication 💖

Before you read this book please read the trigger warnings as some topics mentioned can be triggering.👈

This story follows Hannah, an omega, as her life becomes entwined with four alphas: Enzo, Charlie, Noah, and Austin. 😍

The author crafts an addictive narrative, exploring the complexities of pack dynamics and the challenges Hannah faces as she navigates her relationships with each alpha. The world in this book is unique, with detailed descriptions of the social structure and the unique traits of alphas and omegas.🩷

Each of the alphas brings a different dynamic to the group. Enzo, the brooding leader, exudes strength and protectiveness.

Charlie, the charming and lighthearted one, Hannah’s past lovers which gives us the second chance trope 🫶🏼.

Noah, the intellectual alpha with an emotional past which allows us to see his development throughout the book and how he thrives through his hobbies.

Austin, the passionate one, and who always brightens up the dark times, ignites a spark of romance and desire.

The nicknames were absolutely adorable, how Enzo took control as the pack leader and referred to the youngers as ‘pups’. And how Charlie called Hannah ‘Mags’ that relates back to their past relationship when they were younger.🥹

The author skillfully balances these distinct personalities, creating a multifaceted dynamic within the pack.

There is also tension and suspense which flows throughout this book following Hannah’s recent struggles. I loved how the author added this to add more interesting scenes and to make it an easy read. 🙌

However, the book isn't without its flaw. At times, I believe some scenes could be more detailed but this was only a few times I thought this!

Throughout this story there was humour, banter and times where it had me giggling. This new pack can seriously have their moments🤣

I’m so happy all the characters got then ending they deserved and we got the BEST epilogue possible!! 💫

Despite the tiny flaw, “Her knotty Alphas” is an engaging read that will appeal to fans of the omegaverse genre.

The exploration of pack dynamics, combined with the emotional journey of Hannah, makes for a captivating and steamy experience. 😛🥰

Overall, this was a 4⭐️ read and I recommend it to anyone who likes to explore the omegaverse!!

This is the first book by Jessica Winters that I’ve read and I ate this shit up. When I say I’ve been in my omegaverse era, I can’t help myself because the stories are just that damn good. This book was so fluffy and light that I couldn’t help myself. Yea, there was the family drama, but it made loving this book even better.

I loved Hannah from the beginning and I felt for her. To be rejected by so many packs, it has to hurt her where she just didn’t see these guys coming. What made it even better was when the boy she loved was one of her scent matches.

I loved how Enzo called the guys pups. It just did funny things to my damn heart. Enzo was the head alpha for sure and I loved how he didn’t abuse his dominance. I also loved how he would repeatedly come to see her at the salon she worked at. The scene with Noah and Enzo, ugh, such a sweet moment.

What Charlie and her went through broke my heart because her stepsister really did not like her. Talk about a huge misconception. I also loved how Charlie was never ever with anyone but her. Made their bond so much special. And he bought her a damn house as a courting gift!

I absolutely love Noah and Austin’s foster brother relationship and how they’ve always looked out for one another. One of the best parts was the chase and it was well written.

I love the connection of this pack and I ate this up so quickly. Her heat was simply perfect and I loved that she was able to bond with all of her men.

The found family was so perfect and I loved that we got to see previous characters. I really hope that Hannah’s brother gets his happily ever after too.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I loved reading Hannah’s story and all the different tropes in this book. Getting to read as Hannah transforms from a somewhat despondent hopeless omega to finding her way back to who she used to be was beautiful to witness. I think anyone can relate to feeling beaten down by the world and Hannah finding her happiness can make anyone feel hopeful for better things.

I didn’t love how much miscommunication happened, especially when all it takes is a quick conversation to clear things up. I also didn’t love the huge time jump that resulted because of the miscommunication, however that’s one of my least favorite tropes personally.

Something Jessica does well is giving her characters solid backstories so it feels like each character truly has a distinct personality. I enjoyed the twists and turns and how everything played out in the end. I also didn’t love the mean girl jealousy aspect in this book but it was necessary for the plot. I personally would have liked to see a bit more justice served to the antagonists but I did truly love how the book ended and can’t wait to read Beth’s story. I love Jessica Winters’s writing style so much so if there’s any true complaint I have, it’s that I wanted more of it in this book and more time with Hannah and her pack just existing together. I feel like we get more of that in book one of this series so if I *had* to truly nitpick about anything it would be that I wanted more. But that’s really a complaint because the story does conclude nicely, I’m just a greedy wh*re for more lol

Enzo’s natural dominance, Noah’s bad boy vibe (but he’s a total sweetheart), Austin’s southern gentleman charm, and Charlie’s steady devotion are beautiful to read and would make any book girly green with envy 💕 I also adored how frequently we see Cady and the rest of the De Lucca pack again!

I did read an ARC of Her Knotty Alphas but it did not affect my honest review.

You’ll like this is you like:

•Age gap
•second-chance
•sexy southern drawl
•baking alpha
•hacker alpha
•former federal agent turned professor alpha
•pro basketball player alpha
•nesting
•heat and obvious spice
•a sassy omega

Hannah is 29 and had been rejected by 23 different packs.
After an unsatisfying heat at the OMS, she heads to a party hosted by her bestie, Cady, who recently met her scent matches.
Austin is the ginger that took her home one night and they haven't spoken since but he's going to the party hoping that Hannah will be there.
Noah is Austin's brother who has internet stalked Hannah since Austin brought her up.
Enzo has been getting his hair cut by Hannah for weeks now just so he can see her. His brother is Titus, Cady's mate, and he will be going to the party too.
Charlie is Hannah's highschool love. He found out what town she lived in and got traded to a different basketball team just so he could hunt her down again. There was a misunderstanding when they were young but he has always loved her.
They go to the party, Hannah smells Enzo and Austin, freaks out, runs. Charlie and Noah smell her on Enzo and realize they're all pack. Charlie buys a house right next to Cady and moves all the guys in.
Hannah is also being sued by her step-sisters because they're mad that their Nana left everything to Hannah. 5 million.
Hannah spends time with Enzo and Noah. Then she comes to the pack house and realizes they all live together. With Charlie.
She then comes to the house when Charlie is at his game and has dinner, then they all watch his game and she's super into it like she used to be. Then her and Austin work out their shit and they have to go get Noah from an underground fight he went to after he woke up about to bite Hannah.
They're living pack life, Hannah's heat happens and they all bond.
It's court time. The step-sisters are awful. Noah uses his hacker skills to get dirt on Birdie, who is actually Lizzie, aka the omega that tricked Enzo and his friends into thinking they were her scent match. Noah found all her fake identities which showed how desperate she is for money. The judge rules in favor of Hannah and she gets to keep the estate.
Now its 1.5 years later and Hannah and Cady are both pregnant. They are at the grand opening of Sweet Peach Bakery, Austin's new bakery.

Suspension of disbelief - activate it but dive in

At the, beginning of this book the author asks you, especially if you have any legal knowledge, to suspend your disbelief. Do that and then dive on in, because while this is a fast fun guaranteed HEA, there are more than a few things requiring you to ignore some of your logic.

Hannah is the quintessential FMC - she comes with established girls girl bestie vibes from Cady's story, brings all the sweet, sassy, lovely energy you could possibly hope for but is smart and self capable as well. The best of all compliments I can give? This FMC does not do ridiculous illogical things along the way. She has her flaws and self esteem wobbles but she makes smart choices, which makes her head and shoulders above a lot of FMCs in this genre.

The guys are solid winners. Every last bit of every last one of them is MMC glory. Loving, protective, funny, you name it and these guys have it. Noah is officially on my real world scavenger hunt list because I want one of him (he had me at the first hacking promise).

The problem comes in with a lot of the legal processes and the antagonist. While the antagonist is well structured and highly disagreeable, the very end has a slight lack of resolution. We get a piece of the vengeance but not nearly the full bodied smack down you hope for. Unfortunately, wrapping up the antagonist with a legal setting and then making that legal process slightly messy makes for a bit of WTF clustering. The most obvious error being the use of witnesses by prosecution but not by Hannah's lawyer. That would be the first logical step in proving the relationship between Hannah and Nana but was never considered?

There are some minor editing issues - dropped words, misused words, minor typos. Noticeable but not really awful, it caused a few stumbles but didn't kill the reading pleasure.

All things considered, this book was really decent. Not perfect but well paced and fun to read, it definitely falls onto my recommended reading list.

Her Knotty Alphas? A total win. Four stars, and the kind of comfort read that gave me exactly what I was craving, soft pack energy, slow emotional build, and a heroine who’s been overlooked for too long finally getting everything she deserves. Hannah? My heart. She’s been dismissed, handled, kept at arm’s length by a system that sees omegas as fragile and forgettable, and this book? Gave her the love story she’s been owed for years.

We meet her just as she’s scent-matched to four alphas—most of whom don't know each other, all of whom are suddenly circling. And instead of falling right in? She makes them wait. Set boundaries. Get it right. And every time they show up for her? I melted a little more. And these alphas? Total chaos in the best way.

Their dynamic isn’t perfect, there’s tension, overlap, clashing instincts, but watching them figure it out for her? Peak found-family magic. The way they care for her during heats, advocate for her in legal messes, and adjust their instincts to match her needs? Honestly, swoon.

There’s heat here, like, literal scent-triggers and knotty group scenes kind of heat, but what makes it sing is the emotional grounding. Hannah’s been through it. She’s cautious, careful, and still healing, and every step of this story respects that. Her vulnerability isn’t a flaw; it’s part of the strength that makes her pack fall for her hard.

If you’re into:
✨ Scent-matched chaos packs who will burn the world down for their omega
✨ Omegas with trauma who set boundaries and still get everything
✨ Found-family slow burns with big emotional payoff
✨ Knotty heat with heart

Then Her Knotty Alphas is gonna fill your cup.

4 stars - soft, sweet, and full of the kind of emotional safety and pack-level adoration that makes omegaverse sing. It didn’t wreck me, but it wrapped me up, and I was smiling the whole way through. Starbrook City? You’ve got me. Bring on the next one.

I really enjoyed Hannah's story! It wasn't as heavy plot wise as Cady's (kidnapping and threats) but still had enough going on to keep you invested until the end! I really enjoyed the variety in Hannah's alphas with a childhood love, a silver fox who had a crush, the bad boy hacker who only knew her scent first and the bouncer who had an awkward encounter and ran from embarrassment. The pacing of the story was spot on, nothing felt rushed to me at all and can easily recommend this standalone! You really feel for Hannah whose step-sisters are gunning for the inheritance money left to her by her step-gran and glad it came to a happy ending!

Enzo, our silver fox, was definitely protective, caring and had the dominance to be head alpha of the pack. The crush from the hair salon to being her scent match was a sweet start and the professor scene in his office, definitely spicy! Charlie, the childhood love who carried a flame only for Hannah after a decade apart, is the perfect definition of loyalty and fitting for the title of "Golden Boy". He only wanted Hannah and never gave up on her and his actions throughout shows this. Austin, our bouncer whose secretly a baker, was such a sweet guy and loved the southern accent he had! He was definitely the mood maker and spoiled Hannah with sweet treats, the kitchen scene was hot and I loved it! Noah, our bad boy hacker, definitely wins points with me for his spicy scenes following the kitchen scene with Austin in this. He came across as a slight stalker since he wanted to know everything about Hannah but they doesn't take away from how devoted and protective he is of Hannah. Plus the constant threats to make all her enemies and people who cause her trouble poor is the cherry on top!

Can't recommend this standalone enough and definitely read Cady's too for more info on her pack within this book!

Her Knotty Alphas by Jessica Winters book 2 in Starbrook City Omegaverse series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶💀
After reading Cady's happily ever knots, I totally got invested in Hannah, and I was looking forward to reading Hannah's story. I really enjoyed her whirlwind of scent matches. From Enzo being strong and steady, to sweet and gentle Austin, and soft only for her Noah, to her childhood love Charlie who never gave up on her.
Mixture of second chance at love and finding love, these eclectic characters charm you with their vulnerabilities. Hannah gradually comes to understand her alphas are here to stay while facing her step sisters in court. A minimal drama, light on suspense, and sweet on the spice. Cavity sweet!
Tropes:
No MM. Adoptive brothers in harem. Age gap. Nerdy mmc. Cinnamon roll mmc. Food is a love language.  Best friend's pack mates brother. Childhood friend. Healing. No 3rd breakup. Minimal drama.
Quotes:
"Well, your cupcakes are made from unicorn farts and the orgasm of a fairy," he deadpans, not looking up. "I'm sure one bite will magically wipe her memory of anything having to do with how badly you embarrassed yourself."

"You don't call me princess because you think I'm spoiled, do you?" Her voice is quiet, and I hate how small she's making herself. "What? No," I say vehemently, leaning my head down so I can look into her eyes. "I call you princess because you're fucking royalty in my eyes, and I'm a devoted servant. You command me as you wish. I'll be your attack dog. I'll slay your enemies. I'll bring you your fucking step-sister's metaphorical head on a metaphorical platter. I call you princess because all you have to do is snap your fingers and I'll roll over like a damn dog. Don't underestimate the power you hold over us, baby. All of us."

obsessed with this series!

‼️⚠️ Some spoilers ahead ⚠️‼️

FMC: Hannah
MMC: Enzo, Austin, Noah, and Charlie

Okay, this is the 2nd book in the Starbrook City series. Absolutely devoured it as quickly as the first one! These books have a great pace, nothing too drug out that makes it hard to keep reading, the plot is so well written! I even enjoyed that we got to see Brody again in this book and know that he’s definitely not like his old pack that came after Cady.

It’s so funny that my worries for the first book that didn’t happen, actually happened in this story with Hannah. I’m thankful it wasn’t 20+ chapters of will they/wont they; and her pushing them away. I’m so glad she FINALLY sat down and talked with Charlie. It’s also funny that the same advice she gave Cady, was thrown back at her by Cady, and she continued to try to evade the inevitable. I’m just glad they managed to get it together finally. This rag tag group of Alphas makes such a sweet pack and work really well together, despite only 2 of them knowing each other beforehand.

The plot surrounding Hannah’s step siblings Cat and Birdie was so well written I wanted to come through the phone and punch them multiple times. The plot twist behind birdie?! Insane. Wish we would’ve gotten a “where are they now” regarding Cat, Birdie’s scamming and her mother and Paul feeling they deserved a cut. I’ve said this before in my own personal life, but death brings out the worst in people and it’s evident with Hannah’s step family.

What you’ll find in this story:

🍪🍰🍞 gentle giant Alpha who loves to bake
💻👾 hacker rough around the edges Alpha (who’s only soft to his omega)
👨‍🏫 professor daddy Alpha
🏀🏅Golden boy, long lost lover Alpha
🍑💈✂️ hair stylist, wants to be loved, Omega
