Sometimes the thing you crave the most is the thing that gets you killed in the end.
They say when life repeatedly puts up roadblocks, it might be a sign to cut your losses and move on. Except I literally do the opposite.
Teetering on the edge of discovering the truth surrounding several campus druggings, I’m thrown straight into the perfect storm of wanting to follow my dreams while wanting to live to tell about it.
But being with someone as powerful as Graham Hoffman puts a target on my back. We are each other’s weakness. Anyone paying attention can see that the way to get to one of us is through the other.
And it is becoming abundantly clear that no one can be trusted.
The more Graham vows to protect me, the more danger I find myself in. Can I cut the heartstrings on my dreams to keep the man I love, or will my taste of addiction drive him away just to keep me safe?
Nothing will prepare you for the shocking conclusion of the Entice Series, as Angie and Graham fight to survive. Buckle up. It’s going to be a wild ride.

The suspense of this book had me wishing I could read faster just to find out the truth of everything faster. there were parts that I definitely figured out ahead of time, but then also parts that had me so shocked!! this book was just so well written and the perfect ending to this series... even tho I'm so incredibly sad this series is over😭
I truly loved every second of reading these books and love Angie and Graham and honestly everyone in this series 😭 the character/plot development that happened throughout each book was so incredible that it constantly kept you wanting to read more and I was glued to each book
I am very excited for Claire's books to release and to dive back into this world🤗
I think this was the best of the series. The story line had a good backbone and structure, there were twists and turns and the pace was good. Overall it is worth reading. I think though that it should have been 2 books, as the second one was bit of a filler, or so it felt.
I loved the FMC and I respect how the author wrote the addiction. It took me a while to see that she had a problem and then I realized in hindsight it was always there.
The MMC.... Could he have been more clueless? And the twist with his assistant/past ex, surely he could have seen it to what it was? I mean his brother was soooo intelligent and an expert in cybersecurity?
The way he handled all his ex/ow drama was really disappointing, especially when he was more experienced. But on the other hand he is just like any-other man. Not thinking on different levels but taking everything on face value..
I will continue to the next series. I'm intrigued...

There is not one single positive thing I have to say about Angie. Graham is a smart man that takes advantage of her but is it really taking advantage when she lets it happen? Nothing good about this book or series. .5 stars maybe
The last book of the trilogy just fell really flat for me. The drug addiction part and the last 30% were interesting but the beginning of this book not so much. I’m glad Angie worked on herself at the end. I felt like the author was hinting at a possibly pregnancy at the end by mentioning cravings and how she avoided deli meats but the small sips of alcohol or coffee but maybe I was looking for something that wasn’t going to happen haha.
The thrilling conclusion of the Entice Series is wonderfully exciting! There are so many twists and so much excitement, you won't know what to expect next. This book is book 3 so you'll want to be sure to read books 1 & 2 first to get the whole story. Such an exciting first romance series from Victoria Dawson!
So much suspense in this last book, I had my suspicions to the unanswered questions, but I was shocked! I loved the story of Graham and Angela, and the ending of this book was exactly what I was hoping for and more. Definitely a series I would recommend, I couldn’t put it down.
I was really excited for book 3...but I found it to go on..and on... I found myself putting it down a few times...the story line could have wrapped up a bit faster for me!!! Otherwise I loved the first 2 books!!!
Graham and Angie’s story has been amazing to read. This book had me happy, angry ( hollering at the characters) to crying sad and happy tears. The ending was everything. This series is a must read. I now have an another book boyfriend to add to my list and a story that has my heart. So Happy that this was my first book of the year.
To start, I read this as an ARC for Victoria Dawson.
“I’m so utterly in love with you that I’m willing to break your heart now in order to gain your entire heart later.” - Graham Hoffman
And boy does this book do that! Can I just say this triology got better and better as the books went on? Graham in all his alpha glory continues to harangue Angie. Angie continues to drive him insane with her incessantly stubborn need to do things on her own, even when it proves time and time again to be detrimental. But then the growth in both of them in this book… *swoon*
Spice: I personally didn’t feel like there was as much spice in this one as the previous two. But this didn’t detract from the book for me.
Suspense and Intrigue: holy plot twists! Every time I thought I had it figured out, I didn’t until literally the page before it was revealed and it still shocked me!
Conclusion (no spoilers): I love how this book ended. I was very satisfied with this! I can’t wait for more from Victoria Dawson!
This book is meant for 18+ and the trigger warnings need to be taken seriously. There is drug use, drug abuse, violence, drugging, self harm, kidnapping (adult), and violence.
Overall, I found this series to be lacking in substance. The relationship between Graham and Angie felt riddled with fundamental issues: lack of trust, communication, and respect. Graham's treatment of Angie, especially in connection to Sophie, was disrespectful. Whenever Angie expressed her feelings, Graham dismissed them outright.
The "fake engagement to Sophie" as a means to protect Angie? That was completely implausible. Not only did Graham disregard Angie's feelings, but he also allowed Sophie to stay in their penthouse while Angie was off somewhere in the forest. That was a huge NOPE for me. I'm okay with some "other woman" drama, but this was too much.
Then there’s Graham hiding the truth about his brother—it made no sense and only highlighted the lack of trust and communication in their relationship. Despite his claims of letting Angie in, his actions said otherwise.
Angie wasn’t much better. Her decision to hide her major from Graham was baffling and unnecessary. Her repeated attempts to prove herself smarter than everyone else consistently backfired, which only made her character more frustrating. While I understand she was meant to be young and inexperienced, her immaturity made her hard to root for.
In fact, both Graham and Angie were unlikeable as main characters. Their supposed love and attraction never felt convincing to me, likely because of the persistent lack of respect and trust between them.
The only redeeming character in the series was Dominic/Nic, and even that might be because he only appeared in small doses.
As for the twist with the prophet? I predicted it all the way back in Book 1, so it lacked the intended impact.
I really wanted to like this series, but the main characters’ flaws overshadowed any potential. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t for me.

Review:
I’m not sure where to start. I don’t think a better trilogy could have been written than Angie and Graham’s story. While there may not have been as much spice in book 3 as 1 and 2, the story is the star here, as it has been since the beginning.
Our FMC and MMC have a rough road and while you knew something was off, it was so hard to really put your finger on it until the very end. Victoria left us a trail of Graham cracker crumbles, but the way she intertwined everything to the epic conclusion at the end…mind blown!
I feel so much for Angie and having to deal with Sophie, I would have pulled that girls extensions out (if she had any) a long time ago! Graham has typical guy moments where he doesn’t see what should be plain as day but he’s such a good guy at heart that he misses it. I could have slapped him, and liked it. The character development and growth was *chef’s kiss* so much more than I hoped for. I found myself taking breaks while reading because I just was not ready for their story to come to the end.
Quotes:
“I’m so utterly in love with you that I’m willing to break your heart now in order to gain your entire heart later.” - We ended book two with Graham confirming he was going to take her freedom. Is this quote in reference to that, or something way worse???
“Graham Handled: The act of Graham having his way with you.” - I need a shirt that says this please!
“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, Angela.” - I just want to know how to win GXH!
“Damn…I’m in trouble, aren’t I?” - This quote could go so many ways and I can’t wait for you to find out!
“Wouldn’t miss this epic showdown. If only we had time to go grab some popcorn…” - Where’s the popcorn…would have been great to enjoy while reading this. I’m waiting at the edge of my seat to hear when this trilogy will be picked up for a movie deal!
Tropes: - Hidden Romance - Repeat History - Touch her and die - Spicy - Forced Proximity - HEA (Happily ever after) - Angst/Banter
Taste of Addiction - pun intended, you will encounter several different types of possible triggers. Here are some, but not limited to this list. It is the reader’s responsibility to understand and gauge their own mental health, you matter more than any story on paper!
This book was bittersweet for me. I absolutely loved this series, but was sad to see it end. I’ve loved seeing Angie and Graham’s relationship over the past 3 books and I truly felt so connected to these characters. I think the author, Victoria wrapped it up beautifully. I couldn’t ask for a better way to wrap up the trilogy.
Review: Where do I begin? This book picks up right where the second book, Rush of Jealousy left of. The suspense. This book keeps you guessing. Every time you think you have it figured out, you don’t. I don’t feel like this book is as “spicy” as the others although there are still some of those scenes. I loved each and every one of those scenes though 😉 I love how supportive Graham is with helping Angie through her addiction. I love how Graham’s number one priority is to keep Angie safe even if she defies with every bone in her body. I love how no matter what happens, these two characters are it for each other, even with all the struggles they are facing, they conquer things together. Angie struggled in this book and we finally got to see all of her past and the trauma that came with it. I really enjoyed seeing her take initiative with getting the help she needed. Overall, I loved this series, I wish I could read it for the first time again. I recommend!! 5/5 ⭐️
If you plan on checking this series out, please please check trigger warnings!
And thus, the Entice Trilogy is over. After a long journey filled with angst, lies, jealousy, and doubt, we got all of the answers we were looking for. Angie and Graham have come a long since the beginning. Graham learns to be more attentive, and Angie FINALLY learns maybe she doesn’t need to put herself in harms way for the sake of the story. These two definitely grew together, and I feel like that’s what was really important. They developed into stronger individuals as well as a stronger pair.
Now, the plot. Holy cow, the last half of the book really had me on the edge of my seat ready to discover everything. And I was not disappointed. Some of the things that came to light I did not see coming and had me questioning so many other things. But like I said, all questions regarding Graham, Angie, and their story are answered. So all that’s left is my need for Claire’s story.
You know what I love about reading? When I find a new author that absolutely stuns me. One whose writing is beyond phenomenal and has me so obsessed - I instantly wish there was a huge back library to fangirl over. Only, this is her THIRD BOOK and you're lucky you caught on early enough that you can say you were one of her original fangirls. Yeah. That's a great feeling. And one that I fell into when I first found Victoria Dawson and her addictive story of Graham and Angie. This trilogy has it all. Intrigue, mystery, witty banter, all the steamy smeggsy-ness you want in the yummiest of book boyfriends and his obsession with his soul mate. Yeah. These two fight for their love and their happy-ever-after, and you are in for such a wild ride .. You find yourself nearly done with the book before you realize you've been nose deep for a few hours. I didn't want their story to end. Yet, I couldnt read fast enough. I'm so happy I decided to take a chance on this up-and-coming author who - MARK MY WORDS - will be HUGE. Graham and Angie are just the beginning. I know it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the entire Entice series. And buckle up, y'all. Be ready for an incredible ride!

ARC Review: What a ride!!!! I mean……wow………just…….wow!!!! This was a great and exciting ending to the story!! I was kept guessing until the very end and was floored when it all came together.
This was a rough book for Angie. She is put in so many situations where she has to question what's real, and it was so frantic at times. She has such a sad past and when things are revealed, and we get more of a glimpse into her mind and her struggles, I really connected to her and cheered for her the entire time.
Graham is still the man, but there were so many times I could have slapped him. He does love her so much and wants to protect and care for her the only way he knows how, but he can be so dense about what is happening around him. I will say, these are new feelings for him, he has never felt for anyone the way he feels for Angie and navigating that is a learning experience for him. Watching him grow is spectacular and when he fights for Angie, he means it.
What is so great about this book is the plot. This doesn't just rely on the relationship and the back and forth with the main couple like other books, this couple knows they are it for each other. It doesn't just rely on in your face spice scenes, although those are awesome as well. There is a thrilling story full of twists that keep you guessing. The plot has a message that is very in tune with our time and the undervaluing of women. We live through a character's downfall and realization of what is needed and not needed, what is real and not real, and what is important and worth living for.
This is a beautiful story with excellent characters, an excellent story, and some awesome plot twists. This is one hell of a trilogy from a new author, and I can't wait to see what Ms. Dawson has in store for us next.

“To the hopeless…May you find comfort in being seen”
The third installment of Victoria Dawson’s Entice series, Taste of Addiction, centers around Angela’s struggles. If you have read the first two fantastic books in this series, you may have had an idea this is where things were headed.
This one started out slow for me and my hands were just itching to Gibbs slap Graham for some of his choices. OK, A LOT of his choices in the beginning. Luckily for him he came around…mostly, he is a man after all, but he redeemed himself in my eyes in his steadfast support of Angela as she deals with her addiction.
The author keeps you guessing as to who the culprits are. In the end some of my suspicions proved true, while others were a total surprise. An overall great ending to a wonderful series, with several side characters that grabbed my attention and are deserving of having their own stories. Cheers to a successful trilogy Author Victoria Dawson. You have arrived!
I received an E-ARC of the book from the author, and this is my honest review.
Wow! Where do I start? This book (and the first two in the series) had me feeling a spectrum of emotions. From incredibly hot, to seriously mad - I wanted to slap Graham through the book a few times, to crying real tears. A book has never ever made me cry. There were so many twists and turns and situations I didn’t see coming. You will think you know things but, you don’t and I love that! I literally could not put this book down. This was definitely a book where it’s 8:00 pm when you start it and next thing you know it’s 3am. The character development was perfect, even for the supporting characters. I literally wish I had a friend like Claire. AND, most importantly, the climax/ending will shake you up! The author did an amazing job tying the actual ending up with a nice little bow. I was not left wondering about anything which I appreciate so much in a series I feel so invested in. I whole heartedly recommend this complete series. Your sex life will thank you 😉
What an ending to this trilogy! I loved this trilogy from start to finish!
Dawson kept me guessing the whole time. Right when I thought I knew what was going on, she throws you a curveball. What a conclusion! Any lingering question I had was answered. She left no stone unturned. And boy did she deliver some much needed comeuppance!
I really enjoyed the character development throughout. Dawson really stripped Angie down and at her lowest, you watch as Angie begins to grow such inner strength. For such a controlling alpha male, we see Graham’s control taken away and he is left in such a vulnerable place (something he and we, as readers, aren’t used to).
Upon finishing the series, I found myself reluctant to say goodbye to these characters I’ve grown to know and love. Hopefully we will see them again!
Future reader - this series is worth taking a chance on! Take a chance on this AMAZING debut author! Take a chance on Angie and Graham! I promise you that you won’t regret it!
This is the 3rd and final book in the Entice Series. This series was absolutely phenomenal. The suspense kept me on my toes. Just when I thought I knew how things were going to go, the unexpected happened. I thoroughly enjoyed the evolution of the FMC and MMC and their relationship. Graham and Angela are relationship goals.
Angela struggles in this final book with her addiction and coming to terms with the fact that what she thought she wanted for her life is not what she wants at all. Grahams unwavering love and support Angela get through all of her struggles. Oh and don’t you worry, that damn Sophia gets hers!!
There will be moments you get really angry but, keep faith, it all works out perfectly.
I’m sad this series has come to an end. Angie and Graham have my heart. This book picks up right where the second one left off and it’s full of twists and turns. I liked how we got a deeper dive into Angie’s past and the hardships she’s faced. I also loved how Graham was so protective of her through it all. They overcame and faced a lot together, which made them stronger. I enjoyed the character development in this one and the support Graham gave Angie while she was struggling with her addiction. I don’t want to give too much away but this book was the perfect ending to the entice trilogy. It’s bittersweet because Angie and Grahams story is over but I’m excited to see what Victoria Dawson comes out with next.
📚Book Review📚 Taste of Addiction by Victoria Dawson
4.5/5 ⭐️ 4/5 🌶
What to say about this series.
The journey, suspense, and plot twists were almost as thrilling as the character development. Although, I think Angie could've committed murder and Grahams blinders would've overlooked it.
The connection between the main characters is beautiful, and each supporting character grew alongside them.
The backstories and elements that you didn't see coming were amazing, and you can feel the heart that Victoria Dawson poured into this series.
I highly recommend reading all 3 books in this series.
Book 3 following Spark of Obsession and Rush of Jealousy which ended on a major cliffhanger. I immediately found this book online and downloaded it. Admittedly, I initially thought I would not like these books as I just can't relate to the glamourous lives of the rich and socially elite, but this series kept me hooked. The whole series is like one long story. Each book starts exactly where the previous one ended. So I would recommend having all the books before you start reading as it is quite captivating.
“Oh. Well, go search for one of those sand trays with the rake or something." This sentence was so funny because we actually had one of these in our meeting room at work.
All of the trauma Angie has suffered in the last decade makes her an ideal candidate for addiction, and the pain killers she has been popping add up to a crisis. Graham steps up, and finally, she realises that allowing him to take care of her isn't weakness. But, there are still the issues of her degree and the deliberate drugging of female students, and so she is still investigating. Wow, what a book, what a story. Yes, some of the bows at the end are neatly tied, but the journey to the tidiness is incredible. I will live Angie and Graham's story for a long time. Excellent.
ARC read and SO happy for it!! I couldn’t wait to get the third Entice book and finally know what happens to this group! While many authors can develop a fun main couple, I was in love with the full cast (Collins is my new book boyfriend). Steamy scenes and snarky quips are exactly what I need from a romance. The twists and reveals are what I need from a dark novel and it literally made me guess right up until I turned the page. Watch out for chapter 25!
CW: addiction, drugs, rape is mentioned in several places
Hot & and hotter than ever! The amazing conclusion of the Entice Series, you get to see how Graham and Angie's story ends? (Please, say it isn't so!)
The series becomes more addictive as you go and holds you hostage until very end!
I'm not giving away spoilers but Graham and Angie are that couple in your life with the hurricane swirling around them, they push and pull against each other until it all SUDDENLY stops.
You NEED this book, YOU NEED THIS SERIES! Trust me, you and everyone you recommend this to will thank me.
I received this book as an ARC promo and I am so happy I got to read it in advance. I am new to the author and the series yet I really enjoyed this book. It has so many layers and so many plot twist. I thought I was getting a normal adult novel. Never thought I was going to get something with so such an evolving story line and plot twist. I'm definitely going to have to check out her other books after this series
Only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the story could have used a little more spice. Overall I wouldn't let that get in the way of picking this up.
All came to an end and it was an ending well done. I loved all the mystery and detrayal in this book but eventually all the baddies got what was coming to them although I would have loved to see Sophia get more punishment she was let off too lightly. Glad Graham and Angela got their HEA both deserved it, loved all the side characters will have to read Claire's story now she was such a classy crazy friend anybody would love to have
With how the 2nd book ended I was desperate to read the last instalment and it did not disappoint! Definitely a lot less spicier than previous books but poor Angie is in a bit of a state in this one so it is to be expected!
Overall, a great series, would recommend to practically anyone who loves a good romance story and I’m very intrigued to see there will be a series about Clare too!
