Emilia Hart is quiet and hardworking.

Working as an executive assistant to the ruthless, enigmatic Dean Rockwell is both a dream and a nightmare. He’s powerful, magnetic, and utterly untouchable. But behind closed doors, the lines blur. Their office meetings turn into stolen moments, with desperate, heated encounters on his desk, against the windows, anywhere he wants her.

But he never keeps her afterward. Never kisses her goodnight. Never acknowledges what they are beyond the locked doors of his office. Emilia tries to pretend it’s enough, until she can’t anymore. Summoning all her courage, she confronts him, hoping for something that proves she’s more than just his secret. Instead, Dean shatters her with cold indifference. Heartbroken and exhausted, Emilia takes a week off, needing space to think, to breathe, to decide what comes next.

And that’s where you come in.

Dean keeps her hidden. Controlled. Wanting. But Emilia is no longer willing to be a secret. She’s changed, and she won’t be easy to win back.

Now, the story isn’t just hers.

It’s yours.

Will you help Emilia reclaim her power, mend what's broken, or walk away for good? In Lovesick, every decision is yours to make.

Choose her path. Shape her ending. Rewrite the rules.

Kısa bir şey okuyayım kafam dağılsın dedim.

Şu kadarcık sayfada 5 çeşit son yazmış yazar. 🙄
Okurun kendi şartlarında son belirlediği kitapları sevmiyorum.
Nasıl devam etmek istersen x bölüme geç tarzındaydı ikinci yarı.
Zaten ilk yarı neydi ikinci yarı neydi ben şok.

anyone else remember those goosebump books as a kid, where you could choose what happened next?

that’s what this was. but a dark spicy romance🤭

i learned that i’m just far too petty because i did it 3 times and they still didnt end up together after the conflict. which like.. stand your ground girly. but i like the idea of how this book can end in multiple different ways! I’ll definitely be going back again in a couple days and choose a couple different paths for Emilia.

Thank you Seven for the gifted e-copy! this was so fun!

Apparently I just don’t like office p*rn. Because that’s the only thing that happens for the first 6 chapters with a completely unlikable and uninteresting MMC and an unrealistic and desperate FMC that feels like it was written by a horny man. It lost me there, I just skipped through the rest of the book to find the moments where you can decide how the story will continue, but basically it was just 2 options that repeated again and again so I wouldn’t say that there is much diversity in the story. It‘s always just a yes-or-no decision, with them either being together or not.

Cold boss. Loyal assistant. Spicy power dynamics.
Love Sick by Seven Rue had me blushing, swooning, and screaming "just admit you love her!"
Bonus? You get to choose some of Emilia’s decisions. SO FUN.
Seven Rue, you’ve outdone yourself.

All I could think in that moment was: this man is going to ruin me. And the funny thing about that was…I would let him.”

If you're a fan of steamy, high-stakes office romances with a deliciously dominant boss and a strong, spirited heroine, Love Sick by Seven Rue is your next must-read.

Dean is the epitome of the cold, emotionally unavailable boss—until his assistant Emilia walks away. What starts as a purely physical relationship filled with sizzling office encounters (yes, very kinky) evolves into something deeper when Dean realizes he might have lost the one woman who truly saw him. The dynamic between Dean and Emilia is intense, passionate, and undeniably addictive. Oh, and did I mention he calls her kitten?

“Get on your knees. Now crawl to me, kitten.”

What makes Love Sick even more unique is the interactive format. As a reader, you get to make some of Emilia's choices, which adds a personal touch and ups the emotional stakes. I found myself eagerly flipping (or swiping) through pages to see where my decisions would take her.

This was such a fun, spicy, and emotionally satisfying read. I'm so grateful to Seven Rue for the opportunity to read an early copy—she absolutely delivered. Highly recommend it for romance readers who love taboo tension, strong chemistry, and just the right amount of angst.

disclaimer: this is my PERSONAL opinion and regardless of how i feel about this book, i have nothing but love for the author and her works. sometimes we enjoy things and sometimes we don't and that's OKAY.

i was super excited when I first read this synopsis of the book bc boss & assistant romance trope is GOLD. sadly, this book ended up falling a little flat for me. i understood the whole idea around being able to "choose your own journey" bc ofc we don't get that in books and it sounds fun, right? WRONG. it was not fun for me at all 😭 all it did was stress me out, tbh. i felt like i was playing a video game and don't get me wrong i love video games but when I'm reading a book i want to feel just like that; a book. the book started off strong but once we passed the first set of options the book got really monotone. i couldn't connect with characters anymore bc they didn't feel like book characters anymore, they felt like robots??and some of the options would lead to endings i didn't want so I would have to go back and choose a different option which was really frustrating. like *spoiler* i wanted Emilia to grow a backbone and put Dean in his place, i wanted Dean to beg and grovel and really work for it but, i also wanted them to end up with their hea too. the options that we were given didn't really give all of that, it was just one or the other. and bc the story had so many endings and outcomes it made the book feel so rushed and unenjoyable. i think this book really had the potential to be a really good book that had really good angst + groveling+ hea 🙁 i hope that the author decides to make a similar book (similar synopsis) in the future just without the different options and only one ending.

I haven't read a choose your own adventure style book since I was young and was pleasantly surprised to find it was as fun as I remember those books being.

Not giving this one a rating—not because it was bad, but because I honestly don’t know how to rate it.

Found it on TikTok, loved the “choose your own outcome” idea, then forgot about it until today. Took me about an hour to read.

The story wasn’t terrible, but not great either—somewhere in between. I hated the beginning (in a way that got a reaction), and my first choice would’ve meant the characters never ended up together. Went back, picked the “right” choice, and after that it got kind of boring. No real depth, but still a quick and funny read.

This book was exactly what I needed to get me out of a reading slump. It’s a light, easy read that doesn’t demand too much, which made it perfect for picking up again after struggling to get into anything else. While it isn’t the most thrilling story or the deepest plot out there, it doesn’t really need to be. Sometimes there’s a place for simple, straightforward books that are enjoyable without being overwhelming, and for me this came at just the right moment.

the book was predictable and bland. she won't stop talking about how much he affects her and how much he hurt her. the only reason I gave this book a 1 star is because of the structure (where we get to make the decisions for the FMC) which I haven't seen in another book before
